《ADEPTAVERSE》13 - First Fury Arc: The Silverback Wolf, Frit Part 1

A week had passed. Altara spent this time practicing his Enchantment Magik in the Tower of Magik. He had become stronger physically, strong enough to carry the oversized machete slightly more easily. As for Hugo he had been training Altara whilst building connections with him. Hugo realized that Altara saw him as a father figure of some sort, often asking him for advice on both magik related subjects and non magik related subjects as well as going to him when Konstantine wasn't there to talk to, who was the only person there who was as young as Altara, Konstantine only being a year older than him. Konstantine herself had been undergoing training under Hugo beside Altara, deciding to use Enchantment Magik on firearms instead of melee weapons, which proved effective.
It was an afternoon in the forests in the west of Homstala, Altara was swinging his oversized machete in the air, training his stamina. Behind him was Konstantine who was leaning against a tree, on her waist was a semi-automatic pistol. She was watching Altara swing his sword.
"I would offer for us to spar but it'll be unfair on you considering you only have a big machete." She sighed and folded her arms. "Which is nowhere near as fast as my pistol."
Altara pointed his oversized machete at her from a distance, the blade shining in the sunlight. "What if I got close to you?" He grinned slightly.
Konstantine looked at the blade. "Then I guess I'll just dodge and run unless I have a smaller blade on me in which case I'll try and go for a quick stab."
Altara chuckled, before noticing Konstantine's face drop before falling on her side. Altara saw this, standing still for a moment before running over to her, placing his machete next to her. He noticed a dart in her neck and quickly picked his machete back up, looking around the area, noticing only trees. He looked around more. "Shit." He looked down at Konstantine, she was completely unconscious. He crouched down and dragged her up to a tree, leaning her against it. He then quickly turned around, pointing his oversized machete in front of him.

Another dart was sent flying at him, which he quickly blocked with the wide side of his machete, 10 figures wearing leather armor walked out and surrounded the tree Altara and Konstantine were in front of, all toting various melee weapons. They were strikingly similar to the ones Altara and Hugo fought in the club and in the cavern base, Altara noticed this and gripped his machete more.
"Gh~" Then a figure came out in front of him, wearing a silver turtleneck and pants with black boots which had silver laces. His hair was silver as well, having been brushed back off his forehead and producing a mane that led down his back a tiny bit, stopping just after his shoulders. His eyes were pure white and he seemed to be the same age as Altara if not a bit older.
Altara looked at the figure and frowned slightly. "W-What do you want?!" He raised his voice slightly.
The figure stared at Altara, eyes wide. "That machete. It isn't yours." His voice was sharp and direct, being very intimidating.
Altara's eyes widened, before shrinking into a frown once more, pointing the blade at the figure. "Who are you?!"
The figure stared at Altara still. "The son of the man that sword belongs to. I am here to bring the girl in...and kill you, avenging my father."
Altara froze for a second, thinking about the killing blow to Kript and then thinking about his father and mother turning their back out of the door of the orphanage they left him at.
The men suddenly ran at Altara, who swiftly looked around. "Forest, fire ain't good here." His blade suddenly crackled with lightning as Altara spun in a 360-degree circle, hitting half of the men who were sent flying, one hitting a tree and breaking their spine. The rest hit the floor spasming from the lightning and bleeding in the wound from the machete. Altara grunted as he lifted the heavy blade back in front of him. The rest of the troops started to run at Altara, who swung the blade at them before they could reach with their blades. He managed to cut three of them down, making them go flying out of the area. The other two tripped back after dodging, before running away. The man in silver saw this and threw two daggers attached to his waist at them, hitting them in the back and killing them. Altara saw this, looking at the bodies of the men, noticing one in half his breath hitched, his eyes landing on the man who spoke.

"My name is Frit."
Frit extended his hand in front of him, palm facing upwards. "Unlike the rest of Eternal Chrome, I use magik. My father hated me for it, but never did he harm me." A silver gauntlet with sharp fingers summoned around his hand, he then extended his other hand, another gauntlet appearing on that one too. "I will kill you now, as I know the rest of Eternal Chrome wouldn't care about father's death. Selfish bastards, the lot of them. I was never in it for their sake, but.." He clenched his right fist, the gauntlet's steel scraping. "...I was in it for my father's." He looked up at Altara. "Wouldn't you do it for your father? If he died would you avenge him? Or are you a coward?"
Altara frowned. "My family is none of your concern, and neither is Konstantine!" He swung the machete into the ground in front of him, blood still on the blade.
"Konstantine? So you care about her?...No, she was and IS my father's." Frit grimaced as he started to run at Altara, the gauntlets glowing white.
Altara started to run at him as well. "What am I doing?? Why am I running at someone who I have never fought before??"
