"Alice, any targets?" Xander 311 asked, while Alice 051 kept her rifle in hand. Keeping an eye on the Drusken Empire soldiers moving about. Demon's Bane attached suppressors to their rifles while Rogue Squad Victor was in another end. Just creeping close to the patrolling Drusken Empire's solders, they had firearms and the masks but nothing about them that made it feel like they were well trained. So this just gave the others a better chance to fight their enemies, creeping closer as they snapped the necks of the squad of soldiers.

Now there was more that needed to be done, but at the very least. They could hack into their equipment, which the Rogues were doing. Checking in on the current enemy strength where they can and what else that they would need. The primary focus at the moment was to assess the situation at the Eastern battle ground. So far what they have been seeing was more tanks, more helicopters. Most of these weapons were a little out of the technological capabilities of this world. Demon's Bane Viking 13 got off the radio, looking at the others.

"I just reported this to the Counselor. He says we got Outsiders. Crimson Reaper just took one out. We also got potentially new enemies. The Beauties. No ID on targets."13 said as Marco 751 was looking at the entrance. Where they could see a few mechanical wolves.

"ID'ing target. Codename Warwolf. Mechanical drones based on wolves... The one in the middle though... It's larger, as big as a truck and it seems to be manned. That railgun would hurt us. So we need to be careful. I'm sending data to Command."

"It's heavily occupied. No way we can get in there without a fight." They looked up to see a machine flying above their heads. A winged unit with a minigun in hand. Followed by a few more of the same units.

"Kinda like our Valiants but mobility wise, they're a lot more faster than ours. Our Valiants are more armed to the teeth considering their engagements. Even our Gladiators are more armed. What do you think, Xander? Should we get some backup?"

"I was thinking about it, but..." They felt a pressence behind them, where it was Joshua.

"Lord." They knelt to him.

"I heard about this from Iacus. Looks like if we want to make sure people are safe. We'll have to do this differently. I know you are capable but to minimize losses will not be easy with the three of you. That being said... The HDF is ready for us to call them down. Specifically the special units." Joshua said as he looked at the menu.

HDF AS Team 'White Comet'

Class HDF AS Users. Level 400

AS. Assault Suits that was the answer to arm mankind with the firepower of tanks and helicopters, but with the nimbleness of a human sized unit.

AS Team White Comet consists of 10 highly skilled AS Users. Using the enhanced prototype 'Gale Mark IX'. They are the best AS team readied for deployment for the Lord of Thorns.

An assault rifle, a linear rifle mounted to the left arm. Shoulder mounted 50mm mortars, back mounted spread missiles.

Geared for heavy assaults on enemy fortresses and enemy artillery.

White Comet can be outfitted for different mission requirements but they operate best as a frontal assault unit. Although only 10, they bring enough firepower on their missions to do damage on fortified positions and damaging enemy forces in blitz assaults.

Enemies will have a hard time to lock on the enemy, because of their speed. The Gale Mark IX is like the wind, you can feel it but not necessarily see it.

Camouflage will change according to the environment.

They share this with the Lord's speed.

+20% of Lord of Thorn's speed implemented to their stats.

AS Mastery.

The mastery of their weapons and skillsets makes them highly lethal. AS Mastery grants them longer operating time and their energy supplies can be replenished with the newly fitted mana generator. Allows the Lord of Thorns to use MP to refuel their energy in battle.

Shockwave. Attacks by Skeller will cause shockwave disruptions to enemies. The shockwave throws off aim, concentration and delays enemy attacks for a brief period. Rifles will have a stagger effect while other weapons will leave enemies in shell shock status. HDF's Pride.

Wind of War.

High speed movement and the dangerous use of explosives. The Entente called White Comet AS Users as Wind of War because of how fast they operate. Fast strikes, fast assault and more destruction. The damage caused by White Comet makes them be the hidden soldiers during a fight.

HDF Gladiator 'Blue Python'

Class HDF Gladiators Level 400

Gladiators, the name given to those that tame the heavy exoskeleton frames that are far more powerful than anything else.

Primarily an artillery unit. This 50 Gladiator strong operates in different section. 10 Pythons suited for front line combat while the other 40 handle long range artillery barrages and sniper cover.

The Blue Pythons earned their nickname for their cobalt finish and because the Entente coined the term 'Serpiente' for them. Like serpents that sneak in undetected, their attacks will be known when it chooses to attack.

Though not entirely mobile, they are still capable to face enemy tanks but alas, the number of the Gladiators were small and not enough to go around.

Which is why Commander Shane made sure that the Blue Pythons will operate under her command and they all operate in different tasks.

When not operating, the Blue Pythons train new Gladiator units to have the same level of lethality as them. Famed instructors and famed heroes of the HDF.

Enemies in their target area will find it hard to escape, even if a path was made because of the intense artillery and pursuit of the 10 Pythons.

Being caught in a Python's hold where they are slowly pushed back and crushed.

Cobalt Serpiente.

The Blue Pythons operate best when given tactical coverage and tactical data. They also adapt to enemy forces without much issue. Adapting to different strategies sometimes including them using the Pile Bunker or gatling cannons to do damage.

Famed Gladiators.

The sight of Blue Pythons is a blessing to allies. By becoming Familiars to the Lord of Thorns. It increases this effect by granting healing wave to allies all around them.

When needed as artillery, they set their weapons according to what is needed and the mission requirements.

Either blow things until it is dust, or to make precise bombardment and sniper fire to ensure that the teams that move on the inside will be safe.

+Support Fire can be called at any time when in the battlefield as long as within range.

+Familiars will see the area of effect of bombardment so they can get clear and see the trajectory and estimated time of arrival.

+Allied venerators will see the damage zones and will be able to find their way out of bombing area.

HDF Valiant 'Nightwing'

Class HDF Valiant Level 400

HDF Valiants are known as the angels of humanity. For they mastered their special Valiant suits that grant them flight. Nightwing is a 3 man unit, but they have held the aerial supremacy for years. They only stop fighting when their gear needs a break. Other than that, they are always up in the air. The three of Nightwing, are special. They mastered the first Valiant prototype 'War Wing' that have now been updated with more enhancements. It's near uncontrollable in the hands of those who cannot handle it. It's killed various individuals that wish to master it, but so far only 3 have managed to keep it.

Nightwing has been given the title of the Watchers by the Entente.

Aerial sniping and because of how fast they react to Entente ships coming into their airspace. The Watchers who keep a large net over many human bases, the only solution was to overwhelm them with sheer numbers. Though it succeeded at first, the losses incurred had made the Entente think twice before enabling such an assault because of the heavy losses they faced.

Armed with a pair of rifles,Specialized light machine guns, rockets and missiles. Also equipped with a sonic machete to cut through enemies at close combat.

War Wing

The sound of the engines that roar like a beast would be heard upon their arrival, they are not suited for stealth operations and focus primarily on keeping the skies clear.

Now their engines can be silenced with mana, but when they begin their ascent to fight. It leaves the aerial enemies only seeing a beast of black iron.

Chance to cause panic in enemies. 10%.

Watchers of the Air.

Nightwing's title as Watchers meant that they keep the skies safe. The emblem of a bird's skull was a testament to their abilities. Any enemies that try to bother the skies will face the Nightwings as their opponent.

+Skies will be safe as long as the Nightwing is in the air.

+Aerial information is shared to all units.

Close air support.

When needed, a Nightwing Valiant will fly over to provide close air support with rockets or machine guns.

If needed, they can do dive bomb attacks on enemies for maximum damage and effectiveness.

At least One Valiant will remain on aerial supremacy duty. Unless ordered otherwise.

Valiant Angels.

The Angels of the HDF, Valiants take flight and the black armors are akin to angels of old for the HDF.

For when they take flight, the people who they rescue and help will be able to be at ease.

"We have Blue Python, Nightwing and White Comet. Skeller, do you think they're enough?"

"More than enough Lord. We'll start our infiltration, Lord. Once we give the clear. You can call them in." Joshua nodded as the three teams went to head inside where Joshua took a seat to wait for the signal.

Just basking in the darkness as Joshua looked at a rose in his hand. His Coat of Crimson blanketed him from any eyes that peered right at him. To them, they would only see distortions in his place. Just another tree, just another bush or some bird moving about. To meet an outsider, Joshua was wondering if the outcome will be like before or if he had grown enough to do whatever that needed to be done.

"Lord... We're in position. They've got the entire town hostage." Joshua set up the entry points for the three units. Having White Comet on standby close to the gates to break in while the 10 melee Blue Pythons to take the opposite side of the gate. The other Blue Pythons were a good distance away while the other 3 Nightwings were going to fly in from above. Ascending from the heavens with their weapons in tow.

"Marking targets."

The artillery team of Blue Pythons were standing by, taking aim.

"Targets marked for you, Python. Blow it!"

"Beginning cannon fire." Joshua left as there was nothing for him to do, he was going to leave it to his Familiars to handle it from this point onwards.

The Demon's Bane and Rogues watched the devastation by just the first few rounds of artillery fire. The Drusken Empire's bases were reduced to nothing by the second. The Warwolves that reacted to attack them had their bodies riddled with large holes thanks to a pile driver by a Blue Python. Heavily armored, they were using engines to move fast. Firing their gatling guns at the oncoming Warwolves.

"Let's go!" Xander 311 led the team to liberate the area.

However, they were not alone. As the larger Warwolf machine appeared before Xander 311, who had civilians by his back. The Nightwings were intercepted by a three man unit in armors that were sleeker than the Valiants. They had speed and firepower that was somewhat comparable to the regular Valiants but not for the Nightwing.

And so... The fight between the two groups begin.
