The peace talks began with the creatures of Entente beginning their work to repair the building and the atmosphere. Humanity was able to step out from the underground, they were able to return where the Four Eyes and Reptilians greeted them carefully. The hatred was there but the aliens that were present at the time? They did not say much, a stone was thrown to a Four Eyes by a teenager. Yet, the Four Eyes merely walked away instead of saying a word.
Humanity had seen these aliens as nothing more than heartless monsters. Hellbent on turning humanity as their slaves.
The aliens viewed humanity as nothing much as destroyers of their futures. Two sides on the same coin, with different views entirely. Joshua was just trying to piece things together for himself. The humans who have been experimented on had been changed, far too much. Yet, Joshua stood where the Four Eyes, Reptilians and Borus had knelt to him.
"Who are you?" They were covered in armorer, not even a part of their skin.
"We are the Entente's Legion. The Council has decided that we are to be in your service, Oh Lord of Thorns." The leader echoed.
Vittins Arakhai Legion Class Vittin Warrior Level 300
The Vittins when they joined the Council, gave their best soldiers. The Arakhai were the best of what they had. Proud in combat, despite their smaller frames and fragile bodies. They were not like the others Vittins. A firm resolve, a proud force of 300 that have been able to match the Orions of Earth. Armed with the best of their kind, each member of Arakhai must earn their stripes by accomplishing feats that have been deemed impossible.
Armed with the Dawnbreaker revolver, the Rune plasma rifle and Vars Machete. Accomplished hunters that have hunted various alien beasts and giants that fell by their hands. Truly capable at war.
Personality : Reserved.

Being a member of Arakhai increases combat potential by two fold.
They can take a beating unlike their other companions.

They communicate as one, and they move according to their targets condition. The larger the target, the faster the attacks.
Long range targets will find themselves in a firing pattern that the Arakhai has set up, ensuring that the target does not survive.
Pride of Vittin
As Arakhai is the best of their kind, they are not affected by anything that would damage a normal Vittin soldier.
Orlen, Arakhai Legion Master Class Vittin Warrior Level 350
Orlen is the Arkahi Legion Master. The leader of the Arakhai Legion, chief tactician and leader.
As the Legion Master his prowess is on another level when compared to other enemies. Orlen is their best warrior, the best of the Vittin kind. It can be said that he had subdued many junior Borus and is on par with the other two leaders of the Entente's armada. A dutiful figure, one whose legend stemmed from the fight against one Lord of Thorns and was among the few potential Familiars who fought against other Gardens of Thorns when the world was not to be discovered. Guren is the Warchief of the Boru's Legion unit, Bellesk.
Named after the great beast that was slain by the Borus in their homeworld, the legendary bellesk was a wolf that could not be beaten by conventional means. Only those who were strong, creative and determined would be able to slay such a beast.
As the Warchief his words inspire his men.
His might brings forth his soldier's best fights.
This was the strength of a Warchief. To be a Warchief, they must fight against every member of Bellesk to prove their might against all. To stand as the Apex of their kind, they must prove their worth.

Named after the legendary creature, the Bellesk Borus are far more dangerous than regular Borus. Hardened skins, raw hide that could not be pierced by bullets or arrows, only by blades of a certain level of sharpness.

Wild as untamed beasts, yet intellect that could match a human's, their fight and capabilities.
They are wild as that is part of their nature, to fight with weapons or by their bare hands it does not matter to them.

Borus are known for their courage and tenacity, rarely backing down from battles unless their opponent is something esle.
Bellesk, do not back down. They fight on for their love of combat is something that can be said to be on another worldly level.
War Chief of Bellesk.
Guren's power as the War Chief meant that he was part of the Apex.
When combined with the Crimson Reavers, the combat synergy increases their potential.
Combined with Dominator, they can break enemy morale if they are weaker than them.

Bellesk, the Borus best warriors. A unit of 50.

Their power comes from their frightening courage to face the enemy. These are the Borus that live for combat, tenacious as beasts yet cunning as schemers, their strategies only made sense to those who work with them, and only those they serve.

Reznok Ylrin Chieftan.
Class Luraith Tribe Chief Level 350
Reznok is the Chieftan of Ylrin
Ylrin was the name bestowed by the Luraithian Council to the strongest fighters and to be a Chieftan, requires a Luraith to prove themselves in a test of 7 objectives. When the 7 is passed, only then can one call themselves a Chieftan.
As the Chieftan, she was the first to be a woman who led it. And no matter how many Luraith talk badly of her due to her gender, she has always shut them up with her skills.
She wields the plasma sickles that have made quick work of enemy weaponry and the pair of sickles she wields has been known to match up against the claws of Guren and the fierce attacks by Orlen. She leads her team of 100 by her side.
Personality : Easy going.

Ylrin
Named after the strongest Warriors of their kind, the Ylrin Luraiths speed and agility in combat make them a horrendous foe when faced as enemies.
Reptilian Body.
This skill allows them to hide in water, not to be seen or heard. Only visual detection helps. They can breathe under water and can live in areas with little to no humidity. Even the cold does not stop them at all.
Ylrin's Traditions.
Bows and arrows that use special arrowheads, blades and machetes. They stick to tradition, but such a thing was how they had always been fighting. Traditional tools, but they work better than most.
+50% Damage to bladed weapons
+75% speed when using bows.
Snarl of the Luraith
A Luraith's snalrl unnerves their enemies.
Luraithian Stealth.
One with the shadows. That is how they operate.. Their stealth and bodies increased their combat potential.
Ylrin Chieftan
As the Chieftin of the Ylrin, she is their best. When fighting on the frontlines, her strength is increased to when she fights with Guren and Orlen together.
+75% Synergy to all ally combat skills.
+Teamwork between units will be much better.
Ylrin Tribe Class Luraith Tribesmen. Level 350
Ylrin was the name bestowed by the Luraithian Council to the strongest fighters.
Their origins began during the first tradition of creating such warriors. Rejecting firearms in favour of the ways of old, despite their use of such ways that may be outdated.
Through their traditions of fighting onwards, the Ylrin's traditional techniques causes them to be far different than most.
Personality : Silent. Only speaks through their Chieftan.

Joshua could not help but be impressed by what he's seen. He also thought about how he was lucky to not face them during combat. If he had faced them, it would spell disaster even for his familiars. He could take the blows but his familiars, exception to the One Eyed Emperor and his kind? The others would be beaten severely and outmatched.
"We will serve you, Lord of Thorns. For the One Eyed Emperor has told us about the worlds that will need our existence and yours as well. Always know that the Arakhai Legion is at your service." Olren explained.
"Don't forget about us too." Joshua turned to see Billy 156, Xander 311, Marco 751 and Alice 051.
"Lord of Thorns. This peace may be an uneasy one, but... We'll do what we can here. Most of us aren't ready to join you yet. So it'll just have to be a few Orions, first. Orion Fireteam Skeller ready for service."
Pyrrhic Truce
Created a peace between the Entente and Humanity, though it is pyrrhic.

Orion Fireteam Skeller.
Class Orion Soldiers. Level 400
Orion Fireteam Skeller, part of the few units that operate at the command of Commander Shane, now transferred to serve to the Lord of Thorns.
Though few in number. Orions are the best warriors of the SDF, they are built for combat and prepped for long term battles. With experiments done by the Orion Project to ensure that humanity had a fighting chance.
Though they are few, these 4 Orions are capable for use in combat.
Personality : Professionals.
Familiar Skills.
Veterans.
Orions of Skeller are part of the original Orion project.
As a result their years of experience as child soldiers have followed them through the ages.
+50% Combat experience gained to all units.
+75% of equipment maintenance.
+50% reload speed for assault rifles, handguns, shotguns and submachine guns.
Orion Constitution.
Orions can take beatings from Brutuses, tanks, blades and swords. Their bodies have been augmented to ensure that their bodies can deal with the various damage. They can operate for long hours of up to 100 hours of non stop combat.
Skeller. Fireteam Skellers are skilled in combat, and have earned a recognition as 'Hyper Lethal' alone the Orions are able to wreak havoc, but when combined they can cause heavy destruction to enemy forces. Get it done.
Whatever their objective is, Orion's must complete the objective by any means necessary.
Orion Project
Stealth, reconaissance, firefights. Demolition missions, assassinations. Orions are trained for many roles and many operations as a Special Mission Unit.
The team will actively switch roles and adapt to combat situations without much need for orders.
Can set who gives them the orders.
Joshua then looked to the others.
"I have to go. I'll call you when I need you prepare yourselves!" Joshua roared as he took out a key and unlocked a door, vanishing from sight.
He returned back to Mulligan, where Joshua then walked on over to wake himself up.
Waking up in the hospital, he heard gunfire from the outside. Then looking out the window, seeing Orcs, Dark Elves and various other creatures attacking the civilians. Followed by gargantuan beasts that were as tall as buildings move around.
"Looks like I'll need to do more then." Joshua said as he jumped out.
"Lord of Thorns to Savannah. Have the Lions ready for launch. My world needs you."
"Got it, prepping for launch." Joshua drew Rayland's Unforgiven, firing off a few shots at the oncoming enemies.
"Suicide Division!" The storm of bullets struck the foes before Joshua. Commander 151 stood beside Joshua.
"Your orders, Lord?"
"Protect the civilians! Skeller!" Fireteam Skeller leaped from above, striking a group of Harpies in the sky. Then crashing to the ground. Pulling out the blades from the downed Harpies. Commander 151 drew his blade and relayed orders to his soldiers, where the horsemen went into the fray first, seeing civilians they would scoop them up quickly.
"Your orders?"
"Threat assessment. Weapons free. Eliminate all hostiles."
"Copy." The Four Orions split up as they made their way through the streets.
"Fight on my Familiars!" Ferno appeared as black phoenix in the sky, unleashing his fury of flames from above. Iacus, Donovan and Vizel joined the Suicide Division Troopers on the front lines with Commander 151. Joshua had to prepare himself to call the others.
"Lions inbound!" The Lions appeared from above, firing their weapons at the gargantuan beasts.
"Keep the fighting away from the civilians!"
"Yes, Lord!" The Lions moved closer, going for point blank range. While the Lions that were meant for support searched for locations to provide long range support fire.
"Mark my target, Mistral!"
"Got it! Prophecy!"
"Marking target."
"Received. Firing vertical cannons." The cannons fired, where Joshua readied his blade to go up against the enemies before him.

Does this make any sense to you? Because it doesn't to me. But I guess I might as well make the most of it now. Just gotta stay away from some of the more unstable main characters and cut all ties with my 'family' to avoid certain death. [Volume 2] - Currently Airing It had not been a good idea to interfere with the characters of the original novel. Had I known it was going to cause a butterfly effect, I would have stayed in my lane and minded my business. Although, between the suspicious attacks I seem to constantly find myself in the center of, and my 'family' who is the living definition of the expression 'rich pricks', I’m not entirely sure my current predicament would have been avoidable. But maybe it isn't to be avoided; maybe I should embrace this opportunity that has been given to me and become the hero of this story? At least it's certain that I can't do worse than the original protagonist in terms of moral ambiguity; with immortality already in my pocket, and no other useful skills to account for. However, if I were to follow this path, I would have a lot to lose, including an upcoming promotion and my growing relationship with my crush. With power, glory and whatever else on one side, and my wellbeing and happiness on the other, even in this magical wuxia world, the choice is easy to make. Instrumentation remains an important aspect of the Elemental Era, but the influence of the gift has grown distant after discovering the superiority of the elements. Harnessing the elements had eliminated some of the original limitations of instrumentation, allowing for a self-sustaining focal source that provides solutions to problems such as automation. This turns the development available from the previous modern-day sense of a fantasy to one that is deep-future. Finally, opening access to the passage across the veil will open this progress in comparison to a very similar deep-future parallel world without such fantasy elements, contrasting the laws of physics with the laws of elements in a convergence of time and space.
