《Garden of Thorns *Lit RPG*》Chapter 57 : The Coffin Dancer

A few weeks pass. The Vanguard Units have brought quite a lot of change in humanity's combat potential. 20 of them could rival a low ranked Lion's frame. The heavy weight units used by the Gladiators and the AS users could rival heavy weights like Headhunter but it would need 40 of them to match the firepower.
Their Gladiators that used the Vanguard Units, being dubbed as Vanguard Gladiators or VGs, were in a much better shape. Increased squad effectiveness by 75%. The Vanguard takes on aliens and mechs, the Gladiators handle tanks and crowds. The variety in combat changed a lot of things for them. The infantry had changed to be outfitted to be equipped with Valiant units. OCELOT MK2s. Which were smaller variation than the OCELOT that Joshua used but it would allow them to enter smaller places and the system giving them a full combat protection. Taking damage from plasma cannon shots wasn't a huge cause of deaths anymore.
Joshua was reading the reports with Commander Shane and Lana, apparently having Joshua's pressence at the base is a morale boost for the many soldiers that were present. They find that seeing Jane 000 in the flash was a blessing for most of them. Joshua had became a symbol for the HDF. Musicians sing of him, talkshow hosts will talk of Jane 000 as the hero that saved the lives of many with his actions. The people he saved only said that the ashen armor that came like the wind. Once the wind faded, he was gone.
There was definitely a lot to the words they said, like tall tales that may have just been overly exaggerated to strengthen morale. Joshua needed to head back to Mulligan. There was something calling to him. Something that he needed to learn. It wasn't something else. Not like another world more like... Information that was nagging at him from the back of his neck. He went back to Mulligan without a word to anyone.
Joshua was walking in Mulligan where he found something in an unexplored cemetery. Where he stepped into a place that never made sense. The graves here were numerous, stretching for as long as the eye can see. Yet, Joshua was drawn here to something. Something that never made sense.
Joshua continued the path where it led him to a chapel. Seeing a man strapped to a metal chair. Bottles of blood were injected into his body, gray hair with scars and gunshots into his chest. Coming closer as Joshua could see a some sort of weapon that was shaped like a coffin. The body of the coffin had a metal skeleton made into it, with the hands crossed by the shoulders which Joshua could see two handles sticking out. Whatever it was, it looked like the handles of a large gun.

Coffin Dancer is a unique familiar.
One that has never been awakened by anyone.
You should read the diary to see more details.
Joshua looked at the diary on the table, taking a look into the details. Flipping the pages to read about a story.
An unavenged fighter.
One who fought to protect the legacy of the mafia boss known as The Hatter.
He was the gang's primary enforcer and assassin. Anything that threatened the Hatter was a target.
However, betrayed by The Hatter's mafia gang on a mission. He died as a traitor but The Hatter knew the truth.
Only to find that his enforcer, the one known as the Cross had actually had his body turned into a regenerator.
The Hatter's family was killed but he has a grand daughter that he loves who survived. His world isn't here but in the world known as The Hatter's Underbelly.
The Hatter's Family is alive and his Grand Daughter is alive, this is the reason for Coffin Dancer's Existence. For the promise he made to the Hatter, was that should trouble loom over the Hatter's family. He will be their guardian shield.
Her world is in the The Hatter's Underbelly, by finding clues to her whereabouts you will be given the right to awaken him.
A regenerator means he cannot be killed. Only specialized ammunition will. His height is also something that rivals Vizel.
He cannot speak but he can use sign language to communicate.
The coffin that is beside him is his weapon.
Reading that diary it also brought a key to the Hatter's Underbelly. Then there were two posters on the wall. The Silver Gun and The Silver Cross. Their bounties were $$$$75,000,0000 each. A reputation for being notorious outlaws who destroyed cities and their very pressence frightens countries yet... Joshua could see an excerpt down below.
Drifters of a world known as the Badlands.
The Wildest Wild West yet with weapons that rival the modern day era.
The Silver Gun and Silver Cross are drifters, not outlaws despite their bounties. They destroyed cities that harbored evil, the kind that would destroy humanity and the truth has been hid away because of their actions.
They've gunned down outlaws to protect other people. Drifters that protect people yet at the same time, They fight for justice in a world so void of one.
The world turned their backs on these two but they haven't.
The Silver Gun's known for his excellent marksmanship with a revolver, a silver revolver that was firing a caliber that was exclusive to the Badlands. One known as 45. Long Strike. A gunsmith by nature.
The Silver Cross carries a metal cross that doubled as weapons. With each part housing a weapon. The top housed a machine gun, the bottom housed a howitzer and right side housed racks of 6 pistols and the left side housed a sniper cannon. A preacher who turned into a drifter.

The system popped out.
Having these two by ourside.
It will increase combat potential but when combined with Coffin Dancer.
They can make your journey through the War of The Children much better. Because they are the only Familiars that you can summon.
The War of the Children is a world that many Lords fail because they did not think of the children's needs. Merely to end a war.
Iacus and the others will not be able to be used because of the World's restriction. Once an outside being has been brought in once, and if it has failed it. It cannot be brought in again.
The three of them are good with children and they are fine caregivers save for Coffin Dnacer who cannot speak.
"How would they fare against my other familiars?"
Exception to the Lions.
They can take on the entire army of Azteris's Suicide Division, the 7th Vizel, Krieg, Alec, Mitchell, Iacus and Donovan would suffer at their hands. They are known as the unattainable three.
To be clear, they hold the title as the Sovereigns
Sovereigns being that they will always by your side without needing to be manifested. Coffin Dancer regenerates on his own and does not require blood transfusion as you see from here.
Silver Gun and Silver Cross will just be knocked out. They cannot die if they are your familiars.
Sovereigns have power as close as the Ancient's.
They don't have magic but they could give you a tough time. Training with them may prove to be prudent and increases the abilities of your other Familiars as well.
There are many Sovereigns and you may find them elsewhere.
"Sovereigns?"
They are a class which is unique and can only be attained by a Lord.
By becoming the First to obtain them, you attain them at their fullest.
Once all is done, after you pass. The Next Lord will have to fill the prerequisites to gain them as allies. Which can be set by you.
"So what is this place?"
The Chalpel that leads you to Sovereigns.
There are many other Sovereigns.
You could even acquire two demon hunters that are present.
The Alpha and Omega.
Whose parents are that of demon and human. Yet they became demon hunters, they came from another world and are far more dangerous than Krieg.
Sovereigns can be servants instead of familiars which means they operate differently.
Joshua had wondered if the Lion's were enough to join the War of the Children.
Lions cannot be brought due to the 21st Lord's failure in the mission.
They won the war.
But the children died.
That was something he had wondered, what was the objective of the world? It's something that he would need to think about. What was the objective on the worlds? What about his world? Was his world safe from all of this?
Your world is currently in the protection of the Death Dancer.
The Four Ancients are present to help your world.
Your pressence in these other worlds to gather allies to your cause.
Your path lies in gathering such allies that can turn the tides of battle.
Your world's not experiencing any form of unique spires as before.
That was a relief but it still did not make Joshua all too happy hearing it. He missed his world, but the others need him right now.
The prerequisites for War of the children.
Will be that you must acquire at least 3 Sovereigns.
Cleared 2 of the 3 worlds.
By clearing the War of the Children, you forfeit the Legend of Aces world.
But you will gain better rewards.
Clearing the War of the Children will result in you having the prerequisites for your First Servant from the leagues of humanity..
It will also give a clearer understanding to the many classes that Servants of Thorns may wield.
There was a lot to go on, but then Joshua realized. It meant leagues of humanity.Which meant that it was not limited to just Venerators.
Correct.
Humans of your world, if the system deems it so.
It is not limited to Venerators.
So you may recruit anyone if the system deems it correct.
The War of the Children is but one of many worlds that can grant you amazing bonuses but it comes at the price of its difficulty to clear it.
It can be classified as a Sovereign World.
Where Sovereigns may appear in the world or be granted as rewards for clearing it.
If you clear the War of the Children correctly, it will lead you to the path to recruit the Alpha and Omega if you have not gotten the world's access.
Joshua had a bit to take in, but so far. He's got enough to work with and as much as he is worried about earth, the HDF needs him.
This must have been tough for him to sort out but at the very least... He knows what was calling him here. Hopefully, he will be able to handle what comes his path from now on.

Creativity Can Fix Things
Meet Alex.Alex is like anyone, really, he just didn't know.He is an artist, a musician, tried to paint, every one of his friends knows him for his drawings. Meet truck.Truck is like every other truck, and everyone knows what a good truck does. It sends people to a new fantasy world. That or the author is just imagining this whole story and creating things out of his butt. Point being, trucks send people to alternate dimensions. The caveat is that Alex is creative, didn't fit into society like everyone else, but, as he would say, he is 'defective'.When he finally figured it out and was ready to fix his shit he had the most gruesome encounter with Mr. Truck. And now we are here, enjoy it. --- Looking for an editor!!! I'm writing this in an attempt to put a comedic feeling into something many people go trough: finding their place, fitting into society, adjusting to responsibilities and facing their problems. It's not really "WOW, HE MADE SOMETHING NEW!", but is more like "Heh, look at dumb ass doing shit... Oh... Hey, I do that too!" So feel free to read at your own risk. Don't know if it will be sporadic, regular or what. For now, it's a creative spur that needed a valve to release and. Here. We. Are.
