Joshua was now inside with Xander 311 and Billy 156. Pure silence in the transport.

"What do you want to do?" Xander asked.

"Just drop me right on top of their formation. I'll handle distraction. You both can handle the civilians right?" Xander looked to Billy.

"Sure. I'll tell the pilot. We're going to go pass them in a few minutes." Billy went out to tell the pilot about the plan while Joshua stood by the entrance with the gatling cannon. He had a single drum magazine of 500. 500 rounds of 12mm Keller. Highly explosive and highly volatile ammunition, but Joshua found it interesting.

The transport plane's hatch opened where Joshua turned to Billy who gave him the thumbs up. He just leaped out of it. Where his HUD updated with the details of his allies position. Marco 751, the two squads and the civilians that were in their care. There were Gladiators present with their shields and gatling guns, providing cover while the AS Division members were firing off missiles to ward off the oncoming Four Eyes.

Joshua crashed down in the middle of the enemy unit. The Four Eyes, Banshees, Reptile Soldiers and Brutuses. Joshua had crushed a Banshee with the drop, his left hand gripped the front handle while his right finger pulled the trigger. The barrel spun, where the hail of lead struck the aliens. Blowing their limbs and body parts apart.

"Marco? How's the aliens?" Joshua heard Billy's voice on the radio.

"Backing off, where are they going?!"

"You can thank the new guy. Jane 000. Come on we'll make a path for the civilians and the squad!" Billy spoke up while Joshua was unleashing the hail of bullets. When he ran out of bullets he threw the gatling cannon away, then picking up a pair of plasma axes. Looking at the Brutuses that charged at him with shields and plasma cannons. Joshua went to greet them dodging their plasma cannons. Thanks to the power of the Ashen Wind, it felt like he was wearing the Coat of Crimson. Even movements did not feel restrictive. Dodging the palsma cannons was easier, with the HUD showing the aimed projection.

Then going closer, slashing the arms of the Brutuses off. Followed by hacking deep into the neck where the cables of their life supports were present. Joshua then let go off the axes as he leaped into the air, catching a Four Eyes by the leg. He pulled himself closer to punch the Four Eyes by the face, then ripping its wings off. Crashing into a pack of Banshees that readied their razor sharp claws to strike him. Joshua ducked to dodge one, then grabbed the other to pierce its own ally. Causing them to fall into a frenzy as they attacked each other out of confusion. Perhaps believing that they were being betrayed.

Joshua picked up a few plasma canisters and threw it at different directions, with his left hand drawing out the pistol. Firing a shot that struck it, where it started to prime for a detonation. The aliens ran away from the explosion. Joshua picked up the plasma axes from the corpses of the Brutuses from earlier. Looking at them shriveling up as Joshua continued on with his fight.

"Brutuses! Near the civilians! Crap!" Joshua turned his attention to where the Brutuses were, as he climbed up the building. A running start as he leaped into the group of Brutuses with the plasma cannon. Their attention turned to Joshua who climbed on one. Hacking the back inside, then pulling the cables out. The others were firing at him. The smoke from the plasma canister exploding had caused them to lose visual of Joshua. He appeared from below, knife going straight for the throat. Pushing the knife to the left to slit the throat, Joshua was hanging underneath the Brutus's neck with a pistol in hand. The last Brutus turned around, trying to search for Joshua. Unaware that Joshua was right below him. Emptying the entire 15 round magazine into its neck.

Joshua looted the plasma canisters and a plasma cannon for use. Four Eyes flying from above, Joshua threw plasma canisters at their path, then firing it with the pistol. The explosion turned the Four Eyes into chunks of exoskeleton and purplish blood splashing all over. Joshua then grabbed a pulse rifle and took aim at the flying Four Eyes. Clipping their wings first, to cause them to lose control of themselves and then when they landed to the ground. The Squads, Marco, Xander and Billy could handle the rest.

"Overlord to Xander 311. What's the status on Jane 000?"

"He just took out the aliens that were going after the civilians. Sending you my footage of what I caught." Xander 311 reported while watching Joshua grab one of the Four Eyes weapon, some sort of revolver. Joshua cut open the Four Eyes to find the other ammo for it. It was essentially switching out the entire cylinder. It also had this break open action to make it easier to put the new cylinder in. Joshua holstered it to his chest as he looked at a dead soldier. The Humanity Defense Force logo on the chest, Joshua picked up the pump action shotgun from the corpse. A shotgun that had the lower receiver of an AR-15's design but fitted to hold 30 shells worth of slugs.

"Overlord to Jane 000."

"Jane 000 copies." Joshua spoke as he grabbed the magazines off the soldier's body, then grabbing the dog tags. Passing it to the Squad 9 member.

"Jane 000, I'm sending you a mission detail on the Entente Base. We've got word that civilians are present. Do you need to rearm yourself?" Joshua looked at the details through his HUD. This was a detailed OP. There were Gladiator Sniper teams in position along with AS squads that had the firepower to take it down. Xander including 24 other Orions will be handling the infiltration. Another team of special forces will assist in the mission.

"No need. I'll find my equipment in the field. So you want me to buy time to rescue the humans inside the base?" Joshua checked in.

"Yes."

"I've got a plan but I want to run it by all the team. It might mean more risks on my end but zero on the others. If that's okay with you, Commander?" Joshua asked.

"Let me see your plan, Jane 000. I need to see this for myself."

"Whoa... What is this? A 10 minute onslaught on the nearby Entente HQ? You need one Pile Driver? So you're going to raise hell at the Entente HQ to force them to come to you?"

"It'll leave a lot of other bases unguarded. Besides, I think word's gotten around that I'm dangerous... But even then." Joshua answered Billy's question then uploading a schematic to the team leaders.

"Team leaders, carry this with you. Think of it as a good luck charm." Joshua said, where the schematic in question was a pendant.

"Xander." Joshua passed it to Xander, who grabbed it.

"Alright, I'll carry your Good luck charm. Sure you won't need it?" Xander asked as he holstered the pistol, putting the pendant around his neck.

"Overlord?"

"Alright, all teams. We're going with Jane 000's plan. If this goes well we may have more than just humans back. Maybe even get a city for ourselves." Commander Shane's approval was good, that and Joshua watched as a Gladiator dashed to his position.

"Jane 000? I was ordered to give you this Pile Bunker." Joshua looked at it, picking it up with one hand and had the revolver to his other hand.

"Not too bad. I expected it to be heavier. How many shots does this have?"

"20 shots." The Gladiator answered where Joshua nodded to them and he activated his thruster pack to bring him to the location where he needed to be. The Entente HQ was filled with aliens. A mixed bag, where Joshua could see researchers and his senses gave him some thought. There were non-combatants here. Including families. Yet, Joshua did not feel any animosity, he was going to do his job. It was just the cycle of life, the weak must obey the strong. Humanity was weak, but fighting back against the strong was all they could to keep their dignity as a race. As people of Earth.

Joshua took a few steps back, he will need the thruster pack to help him make the height. The HQ was not a fortress by any means but Joshua was planning to strike deep into where the base of operations was. Just from where he had took position. Seeing the lightly armed guards, they would never expect a human to attack them here. So might as well. Joshua started his run, then using the thruster pack to launch himself into the air.

Pile bunker was ready as Joshua crashed into the building. Looking at the Reptilian Figures that were unarmed.

"Wait no-" Firing the revolver, causing explosions from within. Joshua then reloaded the revolver with his left hand considering the pile bunker was on his right. Joshua stepped out, to look at all the aliens before him. Banshees, Four Eyes, Brutuses and Reptilian types. Joshua charged into a Brutus, the pile bunker pierced through thei family of three.

"Murderer! You're a murderer!" One of the reptilian children spoke. Joshua didn't bother with the child, he continued to strike at the other Brutuses that he could see, the pile bunker was firing its lance to the target before him. It had enough power to tear through the thick hide of the Brutuses, leaving nothing behind.

"Jane 000. Looks like your plan is working, they are coming to your direction!"

"Got it." Joshua said as he put the Pile Bunker aside, and fighting with the shotgun. Blasting away the aliens without any hesitation. He was going to leave this place in a mess. Leaving the cadavers of the aliens. To anger them, to get them focused on him so much that they cannot think of anything else. the other aliens returned, their eyes filled with fire and hate as they looked at Joshua who stood by the pile of corpses. Eating flowers that had appeared out of them.

"Crap! They've turned some of the humans into... Something else!" Joshua heard the screams by the radio.

"Holy shit!? That's... That's my dad! What did they do to him!?"

"Come, my familiars." Joshua whispered as he heard gunfire on the radio, then grabbing the pile bunker as he charged straight to the Brutuses, tearing holes through them, then when the pile bunker was dry from its munitions. Joshua pulled the lance out and just charged into everything else to impale the other creatures. Joshua could hear the howl from Lugasa, while the cry of the Suicide Division had been heard.

"Lord of Thorns, give us your orders?" Joshua heard the voices from where he stood.

"Hear me, my familiars. The aliens are all enemies. Paint their blood to the walls like a beautiful canvass!"

"For the Lord!" The shouting was heard as Joshua proceeded to fight on. Impaling a Reptilian Soldier by the chest. Then firing off the revolver that he looted from the Four Eyes, the bullets made contact with them. Blowing them to bits, Joshua stood still as Banshees made their way to attack him from behind.

Slashed in half thanks to the 7th Vizel who stood behind Joshua.

"Thank you Vizel."

"Whoa whoa, what's going on!? Who are these people!?" Billy asked.

"My good luck charm." Joshua said as he watched Vizel snap his fingers. Forming white roses over the dead aliens. Another snap of the fingers and the breeze of white roses flew all over the area. Joshua then moved into the Entente's base. Where the suit began tapping into the system, Joshua could see all the files. Finding one that was interesting.

It was a pistol, one that had the flowery pattern which symbolized the Lord of Thorns. So the Lord of Thorns was here but his equipment had been taken by the Entente's Leaders. They wanted to study it, but the rifle? It was inside here. Joshua made his way downstairs, seeing people in cages. They seemed drugged, some of them had enlargened bodies and limbs. Enlargened fingers, one of a child that held a violin in hand .They wore masks on their faces, their bodies were no longer human. Some of them had been turned to be something else. Some of them had bloated bodies, some were now walking on all fours.

Joshua took a moment to think, they did this to his kin. He was not going to give the aliens any form of mercy but could he grant it to those in this room? Joshua drew Ashen Phoenix. A single swing from his blade and sheathing it.

"Please grant them rest, oh phoenix." Joshua pleaded, where the humans turned into bones, leaving behind their humanoid skeletal remains. Joshua continued onwards, picking up the pistol that was left by the Lord of Thorns.

Based on the peculiar M92FS that was used as the standard issue.

73rd's Peacemaker.(Unawakened) Stage Zero

The pistol that served the 73rd Lord of Thorns, born from her desire to create peace. Yet, betrayed by the aliens who wished to study his abilities.

Always dreamt of peace, the young lord was betrayed by one of her own servants. The 6th Vizel who now serves with the aliens.

The Peacemaker

Joshua let out a sigh, putting his gear to his back. Was there anything else there for Joshua? Or was there anything that Joshua could see? Reading this firearm's story was enough to spurr Joshua with a bit of agony in his heart. If he was going to kill the 6th Vizel, he's going to make sure that he uses this pistol to do it.

Either way, Joshua could tell this was going to be a long campaign. Leaning to the wall, Joshua let his body slide downwards. Reading that little story about the Peacemaker had Joshua feeling uneasy. It made him livid, the 73rd was a human being who desired peace and because of the betrayal to her. It has shown Joshua exactly what he needed to know.

It would be better if he dealt things in his own way.

"Overlord to Jane 000?"

"Jane 000 to Overlord. What is it?"

"What did you do to the HQ?"

"Took all the files, the systems deciphering it now. Sending more details to you. Destroyed everything. Hey, Overlord. I'm not going to be back for a while. The suit's maintenance system? It seems like I can do the maintenance stuff myself. Besides, it seems like there's a lot that's happened. One of which, being about the Lord of Thorns had been betrayed." Joshua answered which the entire radio went quiet.

"It was a mistake on our end... We... We believed that the aliens could have peace with us. They went through so much with us, learning the language but then. When the betrayal happened, it was on live television. So the entire human race went up to arms.... We wanted to at least... Avenge her." Joshua heard the crackle in the voice of Commander Shane.

"Then you're in luck. I'm a Lord of Thorns. And right now my familiars are present to help you. I on the other hand? Most likely going to go at give the 6th Vizel a beatdown. If you can send a weapon pod for me to use or a weapon stash or abandoned base along my path... Just let me know." Joshua said as he got back up on his feet.

"Lord, what are your orders?"

"151, remain with the others to help defend the humans. Lugasa, Iacus, Donovan, Krieg, Alec and Mitchell stay with the humans. Coordinate aid to them. 151, you have my full permission to do what is necessary.One Eyed Emperor, Tyrant Trickster and Thunder Prince, with me and Vizel." Joshua said as the trio appeared with One Eyed Emperor with his raven by his hand. Tyrant Trickster still sitting on his sword while Thunder Prince was holding bolts of lightning in his hands.

"Well, Lord. You seem... A tad bit... Angry." Tyrant Trickster said.

"I want to destroy an entire alien civilization. Maybe I should destroy them all completely." Joshua said as he walked up the stairs.

"As you command, lord." They all responded as Joshua left the Entente HQ.
