Chapter #03 Dragon and the Sword

As jack saw the pendant suddenly disappear he stood there dumbfounded

“Where… what the hell where did it go” said jack as he scanned his surrounding looking for some clues as to where the pendant has disappeared. Jack looked in every corner of the room but still couldn’t find a single trace of it. This made jack a bit worried

Hell it was my only hope at finding something about myself but the moment it touched my blood it disappeared what shitty luck thought jack.

When suddenly a notion came to his mind what if the pendant was in his body as it disappeared after it touched his blood which made complete sense as he could not find it anywhere else. The more he thought about it the more he felt that it was right.

“But if it is in my body why the hell can’t I feel a damn thing” said jack frustratingly.

The moment when jack was confused about the disappearance of the pendant, the pendant itself was moving toward jack’s heart. When it reached the heart the gem on the pendant shined with a blue glow which made the heart thump with a higher rate. Than it began to twitch and a tip of a black object started to emerge from it.

When the tip emerged jack felt a warm feeling in his heart it felt weird as if something was coming out of it when he looked at his chest he could see that it was glowing with a blue light. As he saw the blue light he was a bit afraid of the incomprehensive thing that was happening to him but also a bit of anticipation as he felt that he can at finally get some answers.

God I was right that piece of scrap is inside of me and what is this blue light what the hell is happening to me thought jack as he started to get nervous and cold sweat appeared on his forehead.

The tip got to larger as a pagoda came out of jack’s heart. It was pitch black just like the pendant but the blackness gave the feeling of devouring as it would swallow everything that came close to it. The pagoda had 9 levels and each level had a different inscription on it. But the inscriptions were blurry as a mysterious field was covering each level.

When the pagoda was completely visible the pendant gave a shine then made its way to the top of the pagoda where it sat on the pagodas head.

As the pendant sat on the pagoda the energy field of the 1st level started to crack then it completely shattered and an inscription of a sword was made visible. At the same time the blue glow inside the gem grew more intense as a symbol of dragon emerged on it. The dragon was carrying a sword in his right hand and a pagoda was levitating above his left hand.

Suddenly, the gem began to vibrate and various blue seals started to emerge from it. The seals first circled around the gem then they proceeded to fly out of jack’s body where they hovered in the air as if celebrating their arrival into the world.

A similar thing was happening at the 1st level of the pagoda as the sword inscription began to thrum and various golden seals started to emerge from inside the pagoda which then flew out of jack’s body and stared to hover beside the blue seals.

As jack saw some mysterious circular writings of different colors emerge from his body he fell on the ground dumbfounded and astonished.

“What is this” murmured jack as he marveled at the strangeness of the things happening to him when he felt a twinge of pain in his chest and two symbols emerged from it the first one was blue. Deep as an ocean and the other was golden as gold they were both much bigger than the other seals.

When jack saw these symbols his heart couldn’t help but shudder as the feeling he got from both of them were too overwhelming for him to bear. The golden symbol depicted a golden great sword and the other symbol was of a blue dragon.

As the symbols appeared all the seals stopped their motion as if facing their lord their sovereign, after that the golden seals started to flow towards the sword and merge with it while the blue seals made their way to the dragon. The more the seals merged with the symbols the more life like they became when all of the seals merged with the symbols a deep roar of a dragon was heard as a stifling pressure descended the whole room as if the sovereign of the whole world has descended. Similarly a sharp thrum of a sword was also heard and a breathtaking sword aura permitted the air.

As Jack beard both the pressure and aura of the symbols, his heart started to ache and his head started to hurt so bad that he felt like fainting it was at that moment when both the symbols started to move toward jack the more close they got the more pressure jack had to bear.

The hell is this thought jack as he gritted his teeth and persisted in confronting the pressure.

When the symbols were just a few centimeters away from jack the blue dragon gave a roar then flew towards jacks head and merged into it, while the golden sword flew into his right hand where it vanished.

The moment when the symbols merged with jack he felt as if something was wreaking his whole body apart as he felt an intense pain throughout his whole body threatening to make him faint

“aahhhhhh” screamed jack his eyes red and his face changing color.

The blue symbol went towards his brain where it started to evolve his nervous system as all the nerves in his brain were being destroyed then reformed once again similarly his bone structure was being altered as well

At the same time the golden symbol made jacks blood to boil and all his blood vessels were being reformed creating more tenacious and strong vessels.

The whole process of destroying and reforming lasted for 2 incense stick of time but it felt an eternity to jack

“Damnable thing, if I knew that touching the pendant will give me such pain I would never have touched it” cursed jack as he convulsed due to the pain.
