Faint footsteps echoed throughout the throne room.
Everyone's gaze was drawn to the figure, it was a young man donned in a black suit embraided with a golden tiger. His eyes were as black as the abyss, unending and mesmerizing.
Lief's eyes widened as he saw the same man who ate angels, he couldn't help but shrink down in his seat in fear.
"Heh, don't bother hiding kid, have you not seen your friends?"
The youth laughed whilst looking towards Lief.
Lief looked around in fear at the man's words. Everyone was still, unmoving as if they were stone!
Lief wavered and asked with obvious fear,
"What did you do to them?"
The young man smirked and spoke slowly like he thought that Lief wouldn't understand him
"I just froze them, they are borin', I'm sure you can entertain me better, come with me."
Lief barely hesitated and obediently stood up and followed behind him, knowing that even if he fought with all his might, he may not be able to harm even a single hair on that man's head.
After several minutes of walking, the man stopped at the courtyard.
"Sit" he commanded like one would to a pet.
Lief sucked up his questions and sat down on a plain stone bench.
"In a few years, I'll be changing some world laws. I'll be changing quite a lot, but you don't need to worry about that. I will be watching you for a while. I won't help you, you should understand this. I am watching you for entertainment.
Think of it as if you had a dog, and you let the dog free but had it followed by a Eyes of Greed spell. I won't help you if you are ever in trouble, however, me and a few people will bet on how long you survive... Haha, anyway Ima give you a gift. Enjoy it."

After he pet Lief on the head once he disappeared, as if he was never there...
"Eh?" Lief sat in a daze the words took a while to soak in... After all, if you heard someone talking about the world's laws in such a simple manner would you not be confused?
The world's laws, such a thing had never been changed before, at least it has never been recorded in history, not even in legends! Lief guessed that the man was lying or maybe stretching the truth. Even though Lief knew the man was strong. There was no way he was strong enough to change something even gods could change, right?
Lief thought back and remembered that the man spoke of the "Eyes Of Greed" spell This spell was something even the ancients of the Huzina kingdom locked away. They demanded the king do so, they said that such a spell shouldn't be used, ever.
It was rumored that the spell needed 100 lives to be activated along with another 50 every week it was active! If anyone used a spell like that to watch a dog for entertainment they would have to be the ruler of a Kingdom or lord of some extremely big slavers association, but any King that used this would surely not last past the starting day.
As Lief was contemplating he heard his father yell,
" YOU DARE TO BRING UP THIS MATTER IN THIS KINGS PRESENCE? YOU SEEK DEATH!"
Lief ran back towards the celebration to find Dew with an arrogant sneer staring at the king whilst shouting "King! Don't do anything stupid all the elders are on my father's side, just because your son is powerful now doesn't mean squat! I could easily crush him between my fingers, the princess will marry me sooner or later so why prolong it?"

An old man stepped forward when he saw that the king was ready to explode,
"Darko listen to my child, he will stay miles ahead of your son! He will soon fly through the heavens and bring our City to new heights!"
The king's eyes grew red and he roared,
"OH, HE WILL BE FLYING THROUGH THE HEAVENS SOON? ILL HELP HIM ON HIS MERRY WAY!"
As Darko yelled, he vanished, everyone in the room paled as they could easily guess what was about to happen.
The Head Elder stood in shock as he watched everything happen.
"Thud" the sound of Dews head dropping silenced the celebration.
All the elders and nobles stared in shock as this happened, the princess ran out of the room, this was her first time seeing a death so, to stop everyone see her throwing up she dashed out of the room.
Lief watched from the back in silence, he had not noticed that he had left a trail of, something...
