"Good to see you guys again."
"You said that like you haven't seen us for a long time."
Peter smile and shrug. His face then turns serious as he took a seat, He turns to the entrance and faces Cyan. "Do you guys have any ways to lock the door?" He asks. "Just in case."
Cyan thought for a moment before responding. "Don't know," He said. Cyan turns to the other two. "Do we have a way to lock the door?" He asks.
Drake shook his head as he leans on the railing of the staircase while Lupin began examining the door. The wolf beastman touches every single part of the door and searches cabinets before giving up. "Nope. We don't," Lupin said.
"I see...Well, we can forget about that for now and focus on the more stuff," Peter said. "Now, I assume that Lupin has informed you what has just happened?"
Cyan and Drake nod. Drake walks down the staircase and took a seat, Lupin took a seat as well.
"Good. Lester, Brick, and Basil are in trouble and we need to help them or else they may be killed or worse," said Peter grimly.
Drake groan. "I guess they actually are in trouble," He said. "Welp, what are we supposed to do next? Do we have somewhat of an idea of where the hell they are? Do we have a plan? Cause I don't wanna just wing it." He stares at Lupin accusedly when he said the last part.
"What? If it works, it works," Lupin said.
"It may work but I don't wanna end losing most of our profit due to fines. Which we couldn't even pay and put us in debt forcing us to use most of our to pay back our debt and most of our jobs don't pay well because everyone in Bronach are a bunch of cheapskates!" Drake said in a fit of uncharacteristic anger.

"Now, now, calm down, Drake, this isn't like you," Lupin said trying to calm Drake down.
"We had to share in a room in the cheapest inn we could and they were that cheap for a reason! There were rats everywhere, there was a fucking dead body in the closet, and all of that snoring..." Drake rant standing up as he became angrier the longer he rant.
"Calm down," Cyan said as he put his hands on Drake's shoulders and try to get him to sit back down. Drake sat back into his seat calming down, still irritated.
"There was a dead body?" Lupin asks. "Besides, you can't admit that we had a good time."
"Where do you think the smell come from? And yes, I guess we did had a good time," Drake said, sighing, he leans onto his chairs lazily and starts slouching.
Peter looks at Drake and Lupin and then starts talking. "Anyway, I do have a location of where Lester called me though I'm not sure if that where they really are, it is a good place to start. Our plan is to track down where Lester, Basil, and Brick are, and get them out of whatever trouble they are in." He pulls out a map with places labels with a red dot on it, Peter points to the red dot, and next to it was a label that said 'Graveyard.'
"In a graveyard?"
"Why the fuck would they be doing in a graveyard?"
"...Digging up bodies?"
"Now, I am not sure as for what they were doing in a graveyard, but it is the location we should check out first," Peter said. "So, get what you need before we head out."
The three rush upstairs to get what they need. After they got what they need, the three rushes downstairs to see Peter cleaning a handgun.

Peter looks at the three and puts the handgun into his pocket, and the four head out of the inn, marching toward the graveyard.
"Where the hell am I?"
Brick look around the cramped, damp, and dirty room that he was in and then look down. His hands were in handcuffs and his feet were chained to the ground.
There was an iron door that was the only entrance and exit to this room with a keylock that could be open with a key that he didn't have.
He was in quite a pickle. Brick got abducted, was thrown into this room, chained, and handcuffed. He was only able to walk up to one foot to the door, there were no windows for him to see the outside and no way for him to escape.
Heck, he still doesn't know where the hell Basil and Lester were. Brick was starting to think that the two had left him.
He sighs.
Brick laid onto the ground and began crawling around, looking for something. He didn't found what he was looking for and sit up, sighing, and just look at the door.
The door opens and Brick tenses. A guard walks into the room and closes the door behind him, locking the door with a key.
The guard then walks up to him. "Alright, I'm here to take you to our boss so don't you dare try anything." The man then moves to unlock the chains that bound Brick to the ground.
When the guard got close to Brick, and lean down to unlock his chains, Brick headbutt the guard causing the guard to clutch his head in pain with one hand and the other hand moving toward his pocket.
Brick, however, didn't give the man time. He rushes toward the guard, slams him to the ground, and began choking the guard out with his handcuffs until he went limp, his life snuff out.
Brick searches through the guard's pocket, pulling out a ring of keys, and began unlocking his handcuffs and chains.
After unlocking his cuffs and chains, Brick rubs his wrists which were sore. "It seems that I'm starting to let down my guards after so many years of peace. I really should have start training again after that incident," He said. "Oh well, I will start training after I get out of here.
He then unlocks the door and rushes out of the room to see walls of stone.
He questions where he was and sneaks down the hall when he heard guards coming, hiding in the shadows as the guards pass by him.
"Hey! Answer me! Where the hell am I?... My wrists is sore..."
A voice called out of a room sound familiar to him before Brick realizes who the voice belongs to. He rushes to the room, where the voice comes from, and unlocks the door to Lester handcuffed and chains.
The two stare at each other in shock.
""Where the fuck were you!?""

Leave the burdens of his past behind, improving upon his faults? Or will he collapse back into old sins, wasting the opportunity given to him? Perhaps even he himself does not know. * Join Andre on his journey as he explores a new world – one ripped straight from the pages of a D&D campaign he's never played. He will face monsters. He will face men. And above all, he will face himself. The story’s genre is your standard progression fantasy, isekai: magic, a system, and a level of technology suspiciously underdeveloped. I’ve borrowed tropes from various books I’ve read like “The Second Coming of Gluttony”. The similarities are there (particularly in the beginning), but I assure you the story is my own. It’s in the first-person perspective and has its own quirks, characters, and world for you to become immersed in. The upload schedule for this will be different from the usual fictions on this site: I’ll release chapters in batches rather than so many a week. I’m a college student, so I don’t want another deadline to worry about. Depending on the popularity/demand of the series, I might increase or decrease the rate of releases. Other than that, I hope you enjoy the story! P.S. This is my first fiction so make sure to point out mistakes wherever you see them. I’m doing this, partly, to increase my skill as a writer. However, be kind! I’m fragile, you know? Warning: ***This is far from your happy-go-lucky, feel-good adventure story. There will be content that some of you might not be comfortable with. And if you're already feeling skeptical reading this, click away and don't come back. If you're still here, what are you waiting for?***
