《Welcome To Terminus》Chapter 50 – Barely surviving again and again

(Flashback)
Noland glared at Sam " STRONG! I WILL GIVE YOU THAT!! BUT IF YOU THINK YOU ALL CAN GET OUT OF THIS PLACE ALIVE, THEN THINK TWICE!!!"
Then he looked at Liam and others and spoke coldly, "No need to hold it back. Show these bitches who are they messing with?"
And the moment they heard their boss, all of their gazes turned cold.
Especially Noah, who just like Nolan, started transforming.
But instead of turning into a leopard.
He looked more like a dog.
9 feet tall dog.
And then it happened.
Nolan and Noah ran towards Sam.
Liam and Oliver targeted Matt.
Emma and Ava targeted Jade and Lucy.
"Calm down, Sam, and stop wasting your stamina," Matt whispered as he held onto Sam from behind.
Since the game started, one thing made their life most miserable, and that was stamina.
Stamina was needed for everything.
From walking to running, fighting to looting, everything.
Even though they got SSS Grade techniques, but what were they good for? If they lose the stamina by using the technique within 5 minutes.
And once you lost the stamina, then you are dead.
Even moving an inch becomes impossible.
This was truth and it plagued all of them like hell.
But the situation improved when on the third day of the game, new techniques started falling.
[Basic Blade Technique]
Grade: D
Possessing the most basic moves for the blade. Thrust, stab, and cut.
Thrust: Thrust the weapon with incredible speed. For both defense and attack.
Stabbing: Stab the enemy from all sides.
Cut: Slice everything apart.
All types of Basic techniques started falling.
From blade to sword, guns to bows, hammers to sabers.
Although their grade was D, they helped far more than SSS grade techniques did.
They used the least amount of stamina and magic power and could be used continuously for hours.

With the help of this technique, every one of them started killing normal awakens quickly, saving a large amount of stamina and whenever they got circled or crowded, they used the SSS Grade technique to get out of the predicament.
And even knowing all of this, Sam was wasting his stamina.
Not to say, they were in open.
And he could hear Awakens growling. This means, in no time, they will be circled.
And if by any chance ‘Elite Grade’ awaken came. Then, he doesn’t know what the outcome will be.
On the other hand, Sam just gritted his teeth as he looked at the four……
“Wait. Where is the fourth one?” Sam whispered back as he looked everywhere.
Matt was startled as he also looked at the enemies and found one missing.
But before Matt could reply, the other three attacked.
Out of nowhere, 100 wind blades came rushing towards them.
Matt hurriedly slashed his blade, and from the pointy-sharp front of his blade, a red windy gale came out.
His attack was silent.
But the small faces the wind carried were so disgustingly evil that it made chill crawl down everyone's spine who saw such an attack.
And then it happened, faces and the wind blades collided as with a loud boom everything within 75*75 yards shattered.
But before Sam and Matt could heave a sigh of relief, a black and yellow beast hand came out of the smoke, ready to tear apart everything.
Noland, who saw wind blades and the faces collided, knew instantly that the attacks will be nullified.
And didn’t waste such a good chance and leaped with full ferocity and almost succeeded when again the small boy disappeared carrying the big guy along with him.
But he just smirked.
Matt blinked and came out with Sam behind Liam and Nolan, but then, suddenly he felt an ominous feeling.

It was so dreadful that he could feel all the hairs on his body in horror as he hurriedly grabbed Sam and fall down.
A bullet passed by the moment Matt and Sam fall.
Matt could nearly feel the bullet passing by his ear.
If by any chance, he didn't sense the bullet, then Sam and him, both would've died.
Prediction: Predict the upcoming attack or danger somewhat. Cooldown: None.
Prediction saved him. The danger he felt, the moment he and Sam came out of the void was so forbidding that he knew, he needed to bent down along with Sam. Otherwise, today both of them would die.
And he was right.
Matt could feel his body shaken in terror.
At the start, Sam didn't understand why Matt grabbed him and fall down when the other two were right in front of them.
But the moment he heard, shoooooooo and something passing by him, his whole body shivered.
Sniper.
Someone was sniping them.
Even though they had powers now, that doesn't mean they were invincible.
One bullet and they will be dead. If not, then they will be injured badly.
Within 10 seconds, Matt and he died nearly 3 times.
They needed to start their offense. Otherwise, the outcome would be disastrous.
"Matt, look for the sniper. I will deal with the others, hurry." Sam spoke as he with an amazing speed stood up, and ran towards Noah and others.
Matt didn’t say anything as he looked towards the direction from where the bullet came.
And without any difficulty, he found the sniper.
Oliver looked back at the kid.
From start to end, his eyes never left the kid.
That kid was the pillar of the group.
Though surprised, he didn’t mind.
One bullet will be all it takes for the kid to die.
And the moment he got the chance, he fired, but again, surprise surprise, the kid fell.
Mistake.
Or.
Intentional.
He didn't know, but when his eyes met the kid, he shivered.
Not in fear but in excitement.
Who will die?
Him?
Or the kid?
Then, he saw the kid slashing his blade.
He was confused. What the hell is wrong with the kid? Why the hell did the kid slash the blade after looking at his eyes, when he was so far.
But answer came to him early as he felt his vision darkening.
And then the silence descended.

The Stars Have Eyes
The universe was a vast, empty, dark, and uncaring place. Then life happened, and the universe was changed forever. Only a teeny-tiny bit, but definitely different. Then again, the universe changes a teeny-tiny bit every second of every day. For instance, if someone were to get off the couch and randomly drink a glass of milk? Bam! One less glass of milk in the universe. Changed forever. Well, excluding any time-travel shenanigans, but anyone who puts a big old hole in the time-space continuum just to un-drink a glass of milk should really reevaluate their priorities. Unless, of course, they were attempting to prevent some massive catastrophe vis-a-vis said glass of milk. Such a scenario is by no means impossible, as one should never underestimate the importance of calcium. Another important tip for any life forms out there is to keep things in perspective. Some look at the vastness of creation in relation to themselves and go, ‘Man, this sucks!’ These people really need to narrow their focus. Sure, they will never affect anything happening on the other end of the galaxy, but so what? That’s way the heck over there, where it doesn’t matter. Therefore, in order to maintain a healthy mindset, it is important to narrow one’s perspective to the things and people that affect them, and that they can affect in turn. But what happens if one is an unfathomable cosmic being from beyond the veil of reality? What happens when such an existence is capable of influencing entire swathes of the universe just by its presence? A creature such as Magh'rathlak the Observer? That particular entity is only about average as far as reality-warping creatures from the dawn of time go, so its influence over the fabric of reality is rather limited. And it still struggles to keep things in perspective. That, among other things, is why it decided to narrow its worldview a bit by compressing the maddening vastness of its being into a single corporeal form. Magh'rathlak had never tried such a feat, but that wasn't about to stop it. After all, how hard could being human possibly be?

Everywhere else the constant threat of a lightning swift Viking incursion loomed over the land.Growing up in this lawless world is a displaced Daynin McKinnon, heir to an ancient familial keep on the island of Rhum. He and his grandfather Ean scratch out a living amongst the Saxons, careful never to divulge their clan heritage.
