Chapter 10 – Who the fuck is Alice?

--Drake PoV--

Four days later Drake was sitting in the command chair of his Spaceship. It was fully crewed and he even took a few clone troopers with him. After 15 minutes of flight they reached the British Mainland and slowed down. With the cloaking device activated they made their way to the Buckingham palace unhindered. When they were directly above it, Drake ordered the cloaking device to be shut off. He then just had to wait until enough witnesses were present.

Just minutes later the front of the palace was swarmed with police and army units. When Drake determined that there were enough people, he began to address them over a speaker system installed in the ship.

[Greetings people of Earth, my name is Drake. I come in peace as long as you don´t attack me. I want to meet your Leaders.](Drake)

Drake ordered the pilot to land in the court yard of the palace. The soldiers and police officers run away in panic as the ship slowly comes closer to the earth. When the ship has finished landing, Drake has the Clones secure the area. Just when Drake was stepping out of the spaceship an important looking man with some Guards came out of the palace.

[I am Albert Frederick Arthur Thomas of Windsor, the current ruler of this country. Who are you if I might ask?]( Thomas)

Drake was surprised to hear the name of the man and to learn that he was the current king.

Drake took two clones with him and had the rest guard the ship. He then followed Thomas into the palace. Soon he found himself sitting opposite of Thomas in a fancy looking room. Thomas started to tell Drake about the recent developments and, after Drake asked about it, the current technological standard of the Axis of this timeline.

Drake was very concerned to hear, that Nazi Germany suddenly had big technological advancements and had occupied Italy after Mussolini was successfully assassinated by an Albanian agent. France capitulated only a week after the start of the war. Only after some of the laser and energy cell technology was captured and installed on the shores of England, were the allies able to stop the German airstrikes on English cities and military installations.

[Well, I can certainly help you in your war, but I have some conditions if I should do so.](Drake)

[And what would these conditions be?](Thomas)

[I want the landmass that you call Europe to be sovereign territory of the Empire. I also want your eldest daughter as one of my wives.](Drake)

Thomas immediately left the room, and came back several minutes later followed by a woman that had to be Elizabeth, if that was her name in this timeline. As Drake was on his way to the ship, he was thinking about the new situation that appeared. While he was sure that this timeline didn’t differentiate that much from his own, he was concerned about the sudden increase in technology. Could it be possible that some LEGION soldiers were thrown into this timeline earlier than him? If so they probably have entrenched their position within Nazi Germany. His best move would probably be to equip the allied forces with plasma weaponry and let them carry out an attack to distract the Germans.

While Drake was adjusting his plans, time quickly passed. When Alice boarded the ship she was escorted by two clone soldiers. As Drake spotted her, he quickly went outside the ship and sad his goodbyes to Thomas, whom he told that he would be contacting when he was ready to start the attack.

Drake made his way to the command center and sat into the captain’s chair, Alice was standing at his right. Drake gave the command to lift off and to activate the cloaking field and they quickly made their way back to the base.
