However, there’s a high chance that she would proceed with her plan anyway. She had the eyes of someone that was already firm on her decision.

Now that I’ve made up my mind, I swiftly move to action.

I ask Leticia to help, in preparing rations for a number of days.

As she does this, I quickly pack my few important belongings.

I don’t have anyone close enough to address before my departure, but Ming Que is someone I have unresolved relations with… seeing that I had requested her to get rid of someone for me.

Now that I’m leaving, that is redundant. I was intending on ridding the world of the Beelze family head and his son, seeing as I had essentially sold them empty shophouses.

The Bao family had only agreed to provide Supreme Pavillion with the initial stock. Once that stock was finished, we would have had to procure the products with other means. The value in the Pavillion lied in the assumed fact that we had an unknown source capable of providing at least 30 shops worth of stock, at a cheap rate at that.

However, he could not possibly have known that the shop was essentially just a storefront. Why would anyone sell products for below their cost prices? The Bao family would most certainly stop supplying after this, and there is no ‘cheap’ source at all. Once the Beelze family head takes over, he would soon realise that fact.

He would then be cornered by the other merchant families in the market, possibly even driven out of business. In desperation, he could direct his retaliation towards me, the source of his calamity. As such, I planned for Ming Que to help he get rid of him and his son, essentially eliminating that potential threat.

With her identity, that matter would be simple. If she didn’t do it, I could incite other small nobles to do the job for me. It’s hard to have no enemies when you’re a rich family rising to prominence, and possibly nobility. A simple incitement would be plenty to spur these families into action.

This would have left obvious traces however, which is why I approached Ming Que first.

Currently, I plan to leave the Kingdom for another.

Of course, just going missing would be impossible.

I would have to feign my own death, very reasonably at that.

If my father truly only has his ambitions in the sky like my mother said, he wouldn’t continue to investigate even if he found the matter of my death suspicious. He would be more focused with his ambitions.

Venturing out into another country has its risks, however, as a noble, there are countless things I can do to ensure my safety. Most importantly, there would be less danger in that than my current scenario. You could call me a coward for fleeing in the situation, but there’s nothing that’s tying me to this place.

I’m actually a well off individual now too, so I could even retire comfortably to the countryside of another country if i so choose.

An isekai adventure is something that many dream of, I am one of those many people. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be gifted a magical ability and a beautiful heroine to roam the worlds with?

I don’t have any motivation to get stronger, but I do have curiosity that drives me. I want to know everything about this world, I want to explore every nook and cranny of this amazing world.

This world that’s filled with troupes from my former world. This world filled with elegant knights, wonderful beast-eared girls and older sister like maids. This world filled with magic and unlimited possibilities.

“Ahhh.”, I smile to myself.

“I wish Leticia would come with me…”, I sigh to myself at the nearly impossible thought.

She’s cute enough to join any idol group, either something 48 or that Produce show with a number one more than a hundred. It would be interesting seeing her fight it out to become an idol… hell, I’ll support that myself!

Random thoughts aside, she understands me well, having executed my orders to perfection. I would be lying if I were to say I didn’t want her to come with me. As a attendant of course, I don’t think she has a shota-complex.
