Bruno started to explain about the recent burglary within the capital but with his goofy face making a serious expression while a piece of food stuck on his cheek was too distracting.

"Oi, before you began! At least wipe your face a bit.", I stated.

"Here master!", William said as he handed a handkerchief from his pocket.

"Thanks!", Bruno took the handkerchief and wiped his mouth clean.

Much better.

He then began explaining about the recent uproar happening around the town.

Let me break it down for you.

Apparently, there's this weaponry development research center located within the capital. Its basic function was as the name indicated, to research and the development of the weapons. The enchanted equipment was a powerful weapon but it was very expensive. The material for single enchanted equipment were rare raw materials as well as mana crystals created by mages.

Even after gathering of all the necessary materials and mana crystals. The main thing depended on the production of single enchanted equipment was the factor of Luck. Most of the time you would get copper, bronze equipment but there was also a chance that the whole thing would fail and you get nothing. But if the mana crystals were forged by top-tier mages than the chance of procuring iron class increased.

Although Silver class was very still very rare to get and the gold class was almost impossible. Last golden class weapon was forged was about 400 years back.

So the weaponry research center was working on, to find a better solution instead of depending on enchanted equipment.

But recently it seemed one of a prototype weapon was stolen from their facility. The prototype was still going through development stages but at its current stage, it was declared as dangerous. It was created from an indifferent method unlike the regular method, hence the weapon was unstable.

The research facility was heavily guarded but somehow some group of thieves sneaked in and stole the prototype. They also stealthily assassinated some of the guards posted within the facility.

The recent robbery had made a quite a stir in the royal court. Most of the noble were arguing and blaming each other. The soldiers searched all around the capital as well as nearby towns.

One of the nearby towns happened to be our town, Stathford. They had been searching for a whole day non-stop but it seemed they haven't even gotten a clue whatsoever about the real culprit.

They don't even sure if it was a single person's work or a whole team of bandits pulled it. They just assumed that, bypassing such security could not be done by a single person so they declared it was a gang of highly skilled bandits.

"For all we know, they already left the capital on their way back to their base.", I replied back after Bruno completed his explanation.

"Nope.", he responded, "Just when the weaponry room's door was forcefully opened it triggered the alarm. So the Capital city gates were quickly closed off and the soldiers were alerted."

Bruno lowered his head with a disappointed look,

"They tried to look for the relic and the culprit throughout the capital but after searching thoroughly for about 2 days. They also started searching in nearby towns now."

Now this explains Aunt Martha talking about recently the soldier had sealed off the capital. No one was allowed to enter or exit the capital.

It could be that the perpetrator had already thoroughly planned out an escape and left the town. No one would boldly attack the capital unless they are brainless muscle heads with a lot of ego and pride on their brute strength.

"So what class is that weapon?", I asked.

It should at least be iron class or above. They were making a very big deal out of it.

"Now that's a good question.", jumped in William, "That specific weapon doesn't fall in any of this class"

"Wait, what?", I asked.

Did I hear that right?

"Yeah, it doesn't fall in the categories of your regular class weapons like the regular ones as copper, bronze, iron, silver or the gold.", William answered with a serious look.

What does that suppose to mean?

Did it belong to a whole new different category?

What in the god's name were those lab nerds creating?

"We shouldn't be discussing these things in a public place. We will explain it some other time.", interrupted Thalia.

This was groundbreaking news. There was a whole new category other that we weren't informed about. It seemed it was a top-secret knowledge only known to the higher ups.

"But is there a point in getting involved in this? I mean will this help in achieving our actual goal in hand?", I asked with a serious question.

Wasn't our actual goal to track down the mysterious organization who also said to had kidnapped my father. I am only collaborating with them just to find my old man, capture him and take the bounty.

I am not trying to find him just because he happened to be my father. Nope.

I will capture him alive or just hand over his corpse to claim the big ass ransom on his head. It would make us rich and also clear the name of the Heller family, for once and for all.

I don't have a shred of sentimental value with that old man. Either he got his ass handed or willingly joined the organization, I don't fucking care!

I just wanna find the person who made my life a living hell.
