In the capital of Tharius alliance Juno city.

"hey!! Maisie..... we are overqualified for this job."

A beast woman with wolf origins was talking while walking with an adventurer group. She wore Heavy armour.. with a giant axe on her back, She kept walking in large strides while putting her hand over a girl's shoulder.

"Bu...but my aunt said that no job is big or sma.... small."

In the party, a little girl holding a mage staff with.

"You are always ... my aunt said this... my aunt said that...!! make your own oppinions Ramona!!"

The Beastwoman rebuked the mage girl named Ramona. She seemed fed up with her habit of always speaking about her aunt.

"Tuzzag!! are you really a woman.....? you act more manly than the men? and Ramona's aunt is an S class adventurer... we need to listen to our elders."

Maisei, The girl on whose shoulder the Tuzzag named woman hand placed her hand replied.

"This is our first job.... even though it's only escorting a caravan... there is always a danger of meeting up bandits!! or even monsters in the way."

For the first time, the swordswoman that looked like the leader of the group spoke. She was alking in the front of the group with a full body armous only her red hair falling down from her helmet. She was truly wierd, wearing helmet even in the city square. She kept her gaurd up inside the country capital.

"Yea..yeah!! my aunt said that humans are more dangerous than monsters.... we... we need to be vigilant of suspicious individual in the caravan!!!" Mage girl again inputed her advice.. it's better to say her aunts advice.

It was true too... sometimes the bandits join the caravan as a passenger and help in attacking the group from the inside by taking hostages. So the advice didn't seem that bad.

"Tuzzag!! are you drunk again? Your mouth smells."

Maisei pointed out again... It can be seen that she didn't like the Beastwoman's antics.

"Why do you guys always gang up on me huh!!?.... Drinking a little wouldn't do any bad."

No one replied again... they knew that they can't stop this woman from drinking beer ever.

And through all this ordeal, A woman in the back of the group never commented, she was beautiful with a happy expression on her face..... she seemed to be lost in her own world. She was a natural airhead and the teams priestess.

As they reached the caravan. There were a group of merchants talking to rough looking men.

"You guys wait here I will talk to him!" Maisei said as she walked toward the group of merchants.

"Hi! sir.. I am Maisei Bradford from the Silver Eagles!! I asked to be an escort for the caravan."

The leader of the caravan smiled.

"Oh!! I know... I am happy to meet you!! I know the ride can be rough but please gaurd us with your all!!"

The merchant was polite to Maisei in respect ot other adventurer that were gaurding his caravan. It can be seen that he knew Maisei's Identity.

"So you youngins are also in the security group!!... Follow me!! I will designate your places."

A rough looking old man ordered Maisei. He can be seen as someone experienced in this job and by his scars , he was adept at fighting and getting out alive too.

"Thank you sir... I will be in your care!!"

Maisei bowed down to the old man, She respected the elderly, which was rare in noble children.

While seeing the little girl bowed to him. the old man laughed.

"Hahah!! just come and meet other people you will be staying for a few weeks... bring your friends too... Journey to Falmer kingdom is pretty long even with the land dragons."

"yes sir!!" Maisei turned her head towards her group and gestured them to come.

She was happy!!.... She was going to become an someone she always wanted to be. It always looked up to the adventurers as heroes.

As the journey began, The team Silver eagle was stations in the middle of the caravan.

The speed of the land dragon was very fast. They faded on the horizon in less than 10 minutes.

On that day!! A young girl had her first step of her dream start. She was considered a widow even though she didn't married the young prince.

No one in the nobles wanted to marry with someone stronger than them, and as it was mediveal days, a widow cannot remarry.

She knew she had to live out her life alone, but she wasn't sad!! instead it gave her drive to achieve something.

But she didn't know, that fate will play games on her.

"How long will it take??"

In a distant place a boy was walking in a jungle, he had a little fox tucked in his shirt and he seemed to be tired.

"How much deeper in the jungle did I get? I remember walking for 1 day at most.. but it has already been 3rd day."

The boy didn't know, he was now immune to the spell, but as forhis sense of direction, it was still bad.

"kyu kyu...kyun....kyu!!" the little fox seemed to be laughing. He didn't gave out directions to Leowald , so that he trains himself.

"Water....water...!!" Leo looked inside the ring... He had stored water in the ring to use it for late. But seeing he was not reaching anywhere, he was miserly using the stored up water.

As the night came, Leo lit up fire and stayed in one place.. THe ring worked wonders, it even kept the undeads away at night, Leo assumed it was a very high level artifact from just this one function.

While drinking the same old soup, Leo looked towards the little fox and asked.

"Little kyubi!! atleast help me now... I am going to die here!! the geezer gave up his life to save me...!!! don't let it go to waste."

The fox shaked his head in denial, saying what it was doing is for Leo's good.

*crackle*

Leo's ears perked up. All the training he did while in living in the forest has enhanced his senses, he didn't smell anything, but he kewn that he was on watch.

"Come out whoever you are!!"

*hungh!!!!!"W..e M..e...e..t A...g...g..a..in!"

In front of him came out a figure that Leo never forgot about. It was the same demon that had almost killed him in the forest that day.

He would have died if not for Daikran.

"Yo.. you can talk!!"

The demon didn't say anything as his jaw was broken... it jumped towards Leo with his battle knife, His size bigger than before.

Leo was scared, It was the same thing that had almost killed him one time. The demon Onimusha was like a nightmare for Leo.

In normal cases Leo would have eassily dodged but this time, his brain went blank, the onimusha was not a brainless demon, it like to battle and hone his skills. it didn't slashed at Leo instead it kicked leo with his leg, sending him flying like a kite.

*Boom*

"What the fuck am I doing?"

There were some scratches on Leo's body... but the blow had waked up Leo from his Dazed up state.

"It's just a petty demon!!"

Taking out his sword, Leo got in his battle stance, the tatoos on his body started to shine again, with the temperature in the surrounding going down.

"COME!! I am not scared of you!!"

Leo was full of vitality again. He jumped off the ground , striking at the Demon with a sky slash.

The demon easily parried the strike with it's knife and then simultaneosly punched Leo in the stomach.

He was again thrown into a tree.

This time blood was flowing down from his mouth. The blow struck him hard, disrupting his vitals.

WIth the help of his sword Leo got up, he was hurt badly. But forcing down the pain, His body started to shine more. The sword in his hand start burning with holy fire with the temperature in the surrounding going down. His muscles swelled up as he jumped towards the demon.

The demon was not sitting I deal through all this. It's battle aura was active as his knife was dripping with purple liquid.

'Poison!!'

Leo dodged the strike and stopped the drops of poison with his sword, in the next instant he did a whirlwind slash trhowing the efire in the sword towards the demon.

Due to temperature dropping down, the movement of the demon slowed down, making him unable to dodge in time.

Leo didn't stop, with his monkey like agility he started to jump from one place to another with his katana striking on the demons vitals.

Sometimes the strike were successful, other time it was stopped by the battle knife.

Everytime the demon parried Leos strikes, Leo's hand hurt due to aftershocks of the collison.

The demon had immense strength, and even after it's speed slowed down because of the cold, it's survival senses was topnotch, always predicting wher Leo will strike on time.

AS blood started to flow from Leo's hand, he stopped and keeping his gaurd up, looked towards the demon.

'It's not fazed in the least...... how did the old man defeated it??'

In comparison to Leo, the state of the demon was much better.

The demon was laughing while watching Leo struggle.

"DON"T LAUGH YOU BASTARD!!."

Leo got burst in anger as the demon was mocking him. The fire in his back increased, sucking more heat from the surrounding, which in turn increased his speed multiple times.

'Now laugh'

Leo struck again this time, and as usual the demon placed his knife forward to stop Leo's strike. but as the katana landed on the knife.

*Boom*

A blast occured due to collision, the fire in Leo's back got down a little but as for the battlee knife the demon was using, with was broken in half with one half in the demons hand and the other half lodged in it's chest.

Leo didn't wasted anytime, He jumped again, his speed less than before.

In the air he started chanting.

"Oh Light strike the foes with your holy might... Holy smite!!"

The holy fire in LEo's hand got much bigger than before, and the sword shining with white light light up the whole jungle.

Before the demon can understand what happened, Leo again struck im in the heart adjacent to the lodged battle knife.

"ROAR!!!!!!!!!!!!" the demon got into a frenzy... it started running and jumping with his hand striking at Leo who was stuck to The demon as a cockroach.

Leo dodged his strikes and as demons hand landed on the broken Knife, it got deeper in his chest, making him roar in frenzy.

After sometime the demon stopped moving, faling on the ground on his back.

"Hahh!! HAa hahaha!! I killed it.. I killed an S class monster.....!!! I am great.... Hahaha!!" Leowald started laughing hysterically, all the time the little fox hid in Leo's shirt, even after so many times Leo was struck, there was no scratch on the Kyubi's fur.

"Kyu!! KYUUUUUU!!!"

The little fox got worried from Leo's mad laughter... It started striking him with cute little paws.

"Hahah!! don't .. hah!! don't worry... I am not getting mad!! It's just I killed soemthing even my mother had trouble dealing with!! haha!!"

Laughing in his glory alone, Leo got off the demons body and stored the Broken knife in his storage as a trophy!!.

He even cut the horn of the dark demon.

After tending to his wounds Leo, in the night again started walking, he thought if he can not use the sun for direction.. then he will use the stars.

He didn't saved up any water and mushroom soup this time, he ate it all and kept walking in large strides in the dark jungle.

As the time went on, sun came out.

"Sun?.... I am out.... I am out of that place!!!!.... I am free?"

Getting out of the forest, Leo's was not happy as he thought he would be, he was feeling that something important did die in that forest.

Feeling the warmth of the sun after so long, Leo dropped on his knees and started to cry again.

He slept on the ground and kept crying, until he fell asleep.

When he woke up.. the sun was already on the horizon.

*guguguuuu*"Shit!! I ate it all"

He was hungry... He didn't had any food left and seeing the place he was in, He knew that he couldn't find any food, the jungle still looked like the dark forest territory, but there were signs of life growing and some leaves on the trees.

Leo Ignorng kept walking in the direction as the su went down.

He followed the same stars until the forest was filled with the signs of life and green trees in every cornor.

"Hungry!!"

He walked and walked.... Leo didn't have the time for rest now, he needed to find food soon.

Walking whole night Leo got out of his daze as the sun came out again.... in the distance he can see a road filled where the camps were setup.

People were coming out of their tents to refresh themselves.. the men were taalking and the women were making dinner.. he even saw children playing in the cornor.

He went close to the group only to find a kid with nose dripping and candy in his moth staring at Leo.

With his dry lips Leo said one word.

"Civilization!!."

He got close to the kid why placing his hand on his head.

THere were tears streaming down from his cheeks... the little boy didn't ran away, he didn't feel any malice from Leo, he just kept staring at Leo.

Leo after looking at the lollipop licking did something, even his mother may kill him.

He snatched away the lollipop from the kid's moth and ran away... shouting.

"Something other than mushroom!!...*lick *lick.. It's so tasty...*Lick *lepo!!!.... it's heaven."

*Crying"uwaaahhhhhhhhh!!" Leowald totally ignore the crying child as he ran away with his lollipop toward the group of people.

"*Lick... WOrld!! I am back!!"

He looked like a madman.

That was the day, for some reason everpy child in the world shuddered.!!
