"Jack,when are we going to leave here? Though i will be willing to spend my life here with you,when are we going,I'm a bit bored." Kelly asked Jack as they ate pork steak from the wild boar. It surprisingly felt more tender than normal pork , compared to the toughness due to the high defence of the ash boar previously, it was like comparing heaven and earth.

"Soon,my dear. As long as i rank up,i promise we can leave." Jack gave Kelly a kiss which left a small grease stain on that white cheek.

Kelly pouted at what Jack did,as she wiped away the stain. Although the 3 years,passed,with Jack and her doing many things, however,they both haven't lost their first yet,due to the unknown dangers,that could appear.

Throughout the 3 years,there were many awkward situations, such as Kelly's monthly 'issue' or when Jack had to settle some urges. Or at least that was how Kelly saw it...

Jack stood up from the makeshift chair that they had made in their free time and stored it into his 10 boxes by 10 boxes inventory. Don't worry Kelly,everything would be alright.

Jack decided to rank up that night. However,Jack had to settle some issue first.

*In the forest*

There was a youth,covered in fresh blood,with corpses of boars and a few other unknown corpses. The only similarity between the corpse,was that they were all mutilated,with bones crushed,blood pooling all over the ground.

The youth had a grin that made him look demonic ,added with the blood,made him look even dangerous. Apart from,the obvious happiness, lust could be seen on his face. The lust for blood.

Suddenly,he looked like he snapped out of his daze,however,he did not look shocked, or even surprised,like it was a daily occurrence to him. Actually it was. After that 'incident', this happened to him every month,but as time flowed on,this occurrences,came at shorter timings. And finally,it occured to him almost every single day. He did not tell anything to Kelly,for the fear of her being frightened by him.

"Sigh... Looks like it is time to rank up,hopefully,this does not happen again. What the fuck happened?!?! Why must this happen to me?" Jack knew no one would answer him.

Jack opened his inventory and took out 5 litres of water out of the 100 litres stored,and poured it on himself,while scrubbing his body,to get rid of the blood. His clothe had looked like it was ran over by a truck than washed,ran over by another truck and you get his clothes.

"Tonight,it is either make it or break it." Jack had determination burning in his eyes,as he clenched his fist. By the time,he estimated,was about 7pm,he reached the small hut,the two had build. Though it was not very safe against monsters outside the safezone,it could protect against the Lv 10 monsters that spawned and mostly,the hut was more for feeling more homely.

Jack slept with Kelly,on a wooden base,with many different furs on it. Though they did not do anything to each other,they enjoyed the warmth of each other.

Once, Jack noticed that Kelly had fallen asleep,he picked the rank up,and chose to rank up to . He suddenly,felt a sharp pain,in his mind,as if a few thousand pins were being jammed into his head,but he could not scream. His body felt like it was in sleep paralysis,and could not move and at most,spasm on spot.

Jack could only endure the pain,as everytime he felt like fainting,the pain woke him back up. For 2 hours,he endured the pain. Soon,he felt that the pain in his brain begin to slow down.

Suddenly,his body began to feel like it was being boilled. He could only endure it silently,as he felt his body change. His bones became dense,his muscles tighten,and his hair began to change to a dark red from his original black.

As soon,as he finished,he fainted into a deep coma,not before he saw a notice.
