I felt a small touch on my shoulder, it was a small poke. I turned over from the bed and saw Hailey, after I turned over she asked me: “Jason are you awake?” I nodded while I smiled, I was always grateful ever since Hailey and I became engaged that we could share the same bed and see each other’s faces. Today was the day we would become united as one family, after today she would be my wife. Hailey said: “I’m pretty nervous… I’m not sure what to do…” I replied to her fairly casually: “It’s fine, act like normal and you’ll be fine. After all, this is a moment to enjoy and not to worry over, Hailey.” She nodded and smiled: “You’re right I guess… I should enjoy today… Because after today I’m going to become your woman.” I laughed: “Good that you get it, so let’s enjoy today together alright?” We both got up, and while Hailey headed into Peaches’ room to change I stayed here. I changed into my black suit and put on my black bowtie, I then went to the mirror and looked at myself. I felt a pat on my back, it was my best friend, Luke. I exclaimed: “Ahhh! How’d you even get in here?” He laughed and pointed at the door, it wasn’t even closed. He then said: “You must be pretty stressed out if you even forget to lock the door after Hailey went out, imagine if a female accidentally entered your room… I can only imagine how funny it would be.” I stuttered out: “You… Shouldn’t be joking… Like that if you know… How damn stressed I am…” He laughed and replied: “Cheer up and relax, it’s your day.” I replied less stressfully: “Easy for you to say Luke…” “Well it should be easy for you to go through this day as well, think of it more as a happy one.”

I nodded and suddenly thought of something why was he here, and not with Peaches? I asked him immediately after realising that Peaches wasn’t with him: “Why’re you even here, where’s Peaches?” He laughed again, to my annoyance and then finally responded: “Well you see Hailey went over to me and Peaches’ room and Peaches kicked me out. So I came to this room, to get changed and try out this suit too.” I sighed: “Well get your ass in the toilet and change.” He seemed disappointed and asked: “Can’t I change out here?” I shook my head and replied: “No, I don’t even know when Hailey would come back here so you stay in there.” While he was changing I heard him speak again: “Wait a second, she isn’t coming back… You aren’t gonna see her till you guys do that I swear to be together thing… Isn’t it bad luck to see the bride in the wedding dress before the vow part anyway? Luke came out of the toilet changed fully with a blue bowtie and black suit, and said: “Well let’s get the others, am I having the rings or is Peaches having them?” I replied: “You’re walking Hailey up, Peaches agreed to this right? In this day and age aren’t best man’s supposed to be single or something?” Luke nodded, and replied: “Yeah but this is a wedding in a weird place anyway so, who cares. I obviously told Peaches, because if I didn’t she’d probably kill me. Ah woman, you understand me right.” I nodded and laughed: “Yeah I get you man, anyway let’s pick up on the pace and head over to Shinpong’s Clearer Square…” We ran towards the teleporter and teleported to Shinpong.

In Shinpong I saw a massive queue of people lining up to get into Clearer’s square for the wedding. When I went through I heard shouts like these: “Good luck on your wedding! Congratulations dude! Have fun today mate!” Everyone was cheering for me, and Luke nudged me and said: “Everyone’s here for you both. After all you and her are heroes of us all, the Dual Samurai and Sonic Piercer.” I nodded as I headed towards the main ceremony area. There was a long red carpet with thousands of white chairs on each side enough for everyone in the simulation to sit in right now. On both sides there was a bundle of flowers set up there to show everyone where the road was. I walked towards the stage, a white ceremonial hut like thing. In there, there was Leo and I waved to him and asked: “Are you taking the role of making us vow to each other for the marriage ceremony?” Leo nodded and said: “Yeah I’m that one priest, I lost at rock paper scissors.” I laughed and said: “At least you’ll get more spotlight so look at it from a brighter side.” He laughed and replied: “Guess so, anyway let’s get ready people are starting to come.”

In a mere hour the place was packed with several thousand of the simulation’s players. I was fairly sure almost everyone if not every player came to this wedding. I heard the band start playing the ceremonial music as I tensed up. I was in truth pretty nervous for this movement so I tried my best not to look awkward and embarrass myself in the eyes of this many people. I readied myself to repeat the lines which Leo would say, and to put the ring which Peaches had on Hailey’s ring finger. I heard footsteps come closer, and I saw Luke… And next to him Hailey. She was in a elegant white wedding dress, the dress touched the floor and it matched her long black hair and ice blue eyes perfectly. I looked at her, she was wearing the sapphire blue ear rings from Peaches which matched the red on her cherry red lips, and also on her hair she had the Ice Bauhinia on her which matched her silky black hair and snow white skin perfectly. She was the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. No, she was definitely the most beautiful in the world, no one’s beauty would compare to hers.

She walked up the stage with Luke, as Luke then went over next to Peaches and nudged her. Peaches opened the ring boxes and gave the rings to both me and Hailey. It was the pair of rings I used to propose to Hailey. I received the ring from Peaches and walked towards Hailey, and then I put the diamond ring on her ring finger first. After that, I let her put her ring on my ring finger. Leo then directed us and used his hands to signal us that we needed to back off from each other one step. Everyone in the chairs was quiet, as if waiting for the moment to start. Leo began: “Ok so I can’t remember the full lines so I’ll be shortening this.” Everyone laughed. He coughed and continued: “For the husband and wife, please remember once you are married you are married forever. For this life and the next you will love each other forever, and will support each other forever.” Me and Hailey both nodded, and he continued on: “Jason, do you take Hailey as your wife and promise to love her forever?” I said loudly and proudly: “Yes!” I looked at Hailey, as she was about to make her vow. He continued on after I answered: “Hailey, do you take Jason as your husband and promise to love him forever? Hailey replied quickly: “Yes! I promise.” Leo then turned to the audience: “So does anyone here have any objections towards the unifications between this man and woman?” He looked around and there was absolutely no one who objected us. After that, he spoke on: “Since there are no objections, I now announce the unification of Jason and Hailey as husband and wife. Long live Jason and Hailey!” After he finished, I took one step towards Hailey and put my arms around her and put my lips on her mouth. She didn’t resist and also put her arms around me and allowed me to do what I wanted with her. After our kiss, I looked around at the crowd. Everyone suddenly bursted into applause and cheers. I could her cheers of me and Hailey as I heard literally everyone shouting: “Long live the Dual Samurai and the Sonic Piercer!” Tears was coming down from Hailey’s face and I asked her: “What’s the problem?” She wiped them and replied: “I just never thought this day would come so soon… But I’m glad it did, and I’m glad I’m with you right now right here.” I replied to her tomato red face: “I’m glad that I got to enter this simulation with you, that day I got chosen it was because of you. I have no regrets that I’m in here with you, Hailey.” We went closer towards each other and put our arms around one another and put our lips together and kissed. Cheers could once again be heard from the crowd as everyone was cheering for our love. Leo then coughed and said: “For all you single woman out there, remember to catch the flower, it brings good luck for relationships!” Hailey then remembered and about the flowers, and I said: “Any time now.” She nodded and shouted: “Catch! I wish the person who catches this to have a prosperous future!” She then threw the flower as literally every female at the venue tried to catch it. A long red haired female which I guessed was about 14 by her looks caught it. Both me and Hailey laughed.

When we got off the stage, our friends was waiting for us there. Luke and Peaches congratulated us for finally getting married. Terry wished us the best of luck in our honeymoon and said he’ll be visiting us in his free time. Hailey told him that he could come any time, and he thanked us. Jingxi came over and gave me a pat on the back and said: “Well look far you’ve come from a literally irrelevant student at school to everyone’s hero here. Good for you.” I replied: “Thanks buddy…” He nodded and went off with Luke. Leo rushed down after everyone else said their congratulations and congratulated us on getting married as well. He also gave us a small amount of coins to congratulate us on being married. I thanked him and took Hailey’s hand as we went on to the cake. The cake was a Vanilla flavoured cake, with roses on top it was 8 floors tall. It was about as tall as Leo, if not taller. Luke shouted out: “Who’s ready for the mega sized large cake to be cut?” Everyone shouted: “Me!!!!!!!!” I took out my Lion’s Edge and let Hailey grab onto the handle and cut the cake. We cut the cake in half as everyone cheered.

The rest of the day went on, as after the cake everyone had lunch and dinner. There were some games between lunch and dinner in which Hailey and I took part as players or referees sometimes due to our special status as being the main characters of this event. Today I could say was the best day of my life, I would definitely never forget today. After the night dancing, people started to head on back to their player homes. Hailey and I said goodbye to our friends, and went towards our new home and teleported to the 4th island’s 1st town, Qingshuishi (Clear Water City). Hailey and I held hands on the way back to our home and I asked her: “Did you… Enjoy today?” She nodded, and said: “Today was definitely the best day of my life so far, I want to keep making more memories with Jason. And when we go back to the real world, I want us to get really get married and to really start a family!” I nodded and said: “Yeah, I want us to start a family in the real world too, but I can’t wait for tomorrow too, because it’ll just be the two of us.” She nodded and replied: “I’m very thankful you didn’t die that day, or today wouldn’t happen.” I looked back at the past and replied: “As long as we love each other, there’s nothing we can’t overcome together.” She nodded her head in agreement as we both stuck out our hands on the golden doorknob and opened it together.
