Multiple notifications popped on his status window. But he ignored them. He sat down as his ultimate ended. He looked at the pile of corpse as the black murky clouds dissipated, revealing bright golden rays of the sun.

The Spear Master basked in the sunrays as he exhaled heavily.

He knew that his avatar will cease to exist, but still he wore a tired smile. He didn’t care about his character. It overjoyed him that he finally killed the biggest adversary of the game but is still in doubt after what the NPC said to him.

He pondered, but soon gave up as he lied down. Soon another pop up came in his screen.

Soon, a bright chest appeared in front of him. The Spear Master was left with his mouth open as he looked at the box.

While he was getting shocked, another pop up came up.

The Spear Master was left shocked again. He looked a child who might cry at any moment.

“My character will not be erased? Yahooo!!”

Tears of joy came he heard the notification.

The system then asked him to whether or not to open the box. He felt complicated, as he wanted to preserve it for the future.

As he continued to look at the description of the item, another prompt came up.

The Spear Master, intrigued by the title tried to see its description.

“No description? Then what the hell is this title is supposed to do?”

Again, no one answered back to his question. Frustrated, the Spear Master gave up.

He then closed his system and turned towards the Goddess, only to find her turning white. He ran towards her and tried to hold her up.

“Goddess!! What is happening?”

Instead of answering, the goddess pointed her finger to a particular body. Then Spear Master, shocked, took his time to understand her intentions.

Giving up, the Spear Master ran towards the body, which turned out to be the Saintess. She seemed unconscious, but from her face it looks like she was having nightmares.

“Cecilia!!”

The Spear Master tried to wake her up, wanting to tell that he won, but Saintess remained still.

The Spear Master then took her body and placed beside the Goddess.

Soon, a big white magic circle appeared around them and then the goddess turned into fine bright particles as she then gets absorbed into the Saintess.

“Whoa…”

The Spear Master, who exited the magic circle, was left with his mouth open.

“Does this mean that Cecilia will become the Supreme Goddess?”

This time, someone answered him back.

“No.”

The Spear Master looked towards the source of the voice, only to find the body of the Saintess, levitating while emitting a divine aura.

“I will stay in this body for the time being. I have used up all my powers in that last attack that you used. It is impossible for me now to regain a mortal body for the time being.”

She then extends her hands towards the sky, which then opened the portal to the realm of the Supremes.

Then, from the battlefield, white blobs appeared and started to move towards the portal.

“Soul of the Supremes that gave you their power. They will, for the time being will recuperate there.”

“Then why are you not going there?”

To this question, the Goddess remained quiet for some before she ultimately spoke.

“I guess it is my ‘quest’ to be here.”

She looked at the sunrise as she said those words. His eyes gleamed, with hair fluttering by the wind. Her face remained stoic, but Spear Master noticed a faint loneliness in that face.

She then turned her head as she then looked deep into the eyes of the Spear Master.

“By the way. What will you do with that code?”

The Spear Master who heard the Goddess looked at her.

“What do you suggest I should do?”

“That is not for me to decide.”

The Goddess indifferently said to the Spear Master, as she then observed the Spear Master.

“Hmmm…”

The Supreme Goddess then took a step back as she watched the back of the Spear Master.

‘What will you wish? I shall look towards its result.’

The Spear Master closed his eyes as he stayed silent for a short time. Slowly, he opened his eyes as he took a deep breath. He then took out the code from his inventory.

“I guess I shall use this moment of victory to use this. I hope it can fulfil my wish.”

He then tore the code and soon his vision blurred as his avatar and his consciousness were then taken to another space.
