"What's taking them so long? The school isn't even big." Erica sighed

They were at the cafeteria sitting at their usual table.

"Why is it bothering you?" Hinata laughed "Do you like Hyung too?"

"Too?!" She reacted

"Well I mean yeah, almost everyone is crushing over him."

"He's actually really cute." Ichika spoke "Heck I wouldn't be surprised if Kate liked him."

"Huh that's really great, superb, awesome, amazing." Erica laughed...awkwardly

"Hey Erica can you come with me too the library? I need to print something." Alex said

"But i haven't finished eating yet."

"Well if you weren't being so je-" she coughed "So talkative you would've finished already. Just come with me."

"Fine"

"Talk to you later guys" Alex said to the rest

They left and were now walking towards the lobby.

"Um Alex you have been in this school for over four or three years already, I'm pretty sure this isn't the way."

Alex laughed "I know, I wanted to talk about how jealous you are."

"What?! I'm not jealous of Kate!"

"I know you're not jealous of Kate. You're jealous of Hyung."

It was then she got flustered "W-what are you talking about?"

"Oh come on Erica don't deny it," she smiled "I'm a very observant person. I know all of your guys' secrets, what you're afraid of, your flaws, and other shit like that. So, am I correct?"

She knew the answer to her own question but it would be best if Erica finally said it out loud.

"Stop talking nonsense Alex." She rolled her eyes

Alex laughed "Like I said earlier I know all the group's secrets. Don't you want to know what happened to the group?"

"Nah, I'm not really interested."

"You sure? Not even about Kate?"

Erica's eyes had a hint of interest in them but she didn't answer.

"Okay, tell you what, if you answer my question honestly, you can ask me anything about any person in the group at any given time." Alex assured her

"Fine," she sighed "I...I like-"

"You like who?!"

"Son of a bitch Kate you interrupted her!" Alex shouted "Oh! Son of a bitch indeed, hi Kate." Alex smiled

Erica hit her on the shoulder "Ow"

"Hey guys I'm sorry if I interrupted" she smiled sheepishly "I just finished showing Hyung around when I saw the two of you."

"Uh-huh, so where is he now?"

She shrugged "With the guys I guess"

"Yes yes that's great, so Kate you must be starving? You should go to the cafeteria and eat." Alex gestured for her to go

"But I wanna know who Erica li-"

"Hurry up now"

"Okay! I'm going I'm going, I don't like the sass Alex."

They looked at her until she finally went inside the cafeteria.

She coughed "So where were we?"

"I forgot" Erica was trying to escape the conversation

"Never mind I remember it now, so who do you like?"

She sighed again "I like her...I like Kate"

"Knew it!" Alex laughed "You know I didn't pick you up on my gaydar...wait do you even like girls?"

"I like this one" She whispered but it was loud enough for Alex to hear.

"Aww that's so cute"

"Ugh what's the point. It's all just going to be unrequited."

"Don't be like that, I'm sure it won't be." she winked "When did you start liking her?"

"Back then at Yui's party but I wasn't sure yet. I fully realized it when we were at the festival. When the fireworks 'show' started all of you were admiring it, while I didn't even get a chance to look at it because my attention was on someone." She laughed

Alex smiled "but how or why do you like her?"

"I don't even know," she was red like a tomato "She makes me laugh."

"We should have gotten you a clown." She teased

"Oh shut up"

They both laughed

"Who's the new kid?" Ethan asked

"He's a Korean exchange student or some shit like that. Damn this dude is getting all the girls, he's going to dethrone you Ethan." His friend laughed

"No fucking way" He sneered

Ethan stood up and went to Alex's table. He grabbed her hand and dragged her away from the table.

"Dude I hate that he's getting everyone's attention. Can you get him to be with you dorks?"

"Fuck you, we are not dorks. We are weebs." Alex answered

"Well whatever just do it."

"Aw do you miss them drooling over you?" She laughed

He rolled his eyes and Alex laughed again. She looked at Erica and looked at Ethan again.

"But no I can't"

"Why not?!"

"Something that you shouldn't be concerned with. Anyways, that guy is gay."

"What?! No he's not"

"He's gay...all the good looking one's are."

"Then what about me?" Ethan asked

"Heh." She smirked

"What the hell does that mean?!"

"I don't know dude, go figure it out. Bye!"

Erica and Kate were inside the train. Kate was talking about random stuff while Erica's mind was preoccupied.

"-hey are you even listening?" Kate asked

"Would you ever date a friend?" She blurted out

Kate laughed "Where did that come from?"

Erica shrugged

"Is this because of Hyung?"

"No!...I mean no."

"What's it about then?"

She shrugged again

"No, I wouldn't date a friend."

Erica looked at her and waited for her to explain.

"There's this saying in an other language 'Wag mong bebestfriend-in ang gusto mong jowain.' It translates to don't make a person your bestfriend or close friend if you want to date that person. You made that person your friend because you're hoping that you'll get closer and maybe it will turn into something more but in all honesty you'll just get hurt." She rambled "In short I'm talking about friendzones. Plus there's all this jealousy and hoping and overthink things or read too much into their actions blah blah."

Erica had a million questions on her mind because of what Kate said. But all she was able to say was

"huh?"

"What do you mean huh? I said a lot and all you got to say was huh? Do I have to repeat it ag-"

"I like you Kate."
