A week has now passed after the first day. Last week was about introductions, introductions to the subjects, activities, schedules, and many more. The teachers had not discussed anything last week but they already started teaching this week.

They were all in the classroom waiting for the next subject teacher. Kate was reading a book while her friends were talking to each other. A little while later the subject teacher finally arrived. They all stood up and greeted the teacher.

Physical Education how i hate you Kate sighed.

She set aside her book and listened to what the teacher said. They all needed to come down to the court and do some excercises already.

Since all of them were already in their sports attire (P.E was scheduled for tuesday), the girls tied their hair while the boys were already running like idiots.

The class only had 24 students so the teacher grouped them into 4.

"Everyone pick a partner in your group so we can finally begin" The teacher spoke.

Kate looked around in their group and all of them picked their friend. She saw one friend...it was Erica.

Oh no....Kate thought. They were still not that well acquainted, because of that they were still awkward around each other.

Guess I have no choice she thought

"Hey Erica" Kate greeted.

Erica turned around and saw Kate walking towards her.

oh no...Erica thought.

"Do you wanna be my partner since we're friends and shit." Kate said

Erica laughed awkwardly "Sure"

"All right Group1 25 sit ups, Group2 5 laps in the field, Group3 25 Push ups, Group 4 Single leg stance 5 times for each leg. After you finish the task for your group you will move to the next and so on", the teacher said.

The students were groaning and complaining. Kate and Erica were in Group 3.

"Fuck!" Kate complained

Alex saw Kate were partners with Erica. She knew that Kate was still awkward with Erica.

"Pssstttt" Alex tried to get Kate's attention

She mouthed the word "What?"

Alex pointed to Erica and laughed. Because of this, Kate rose her middle finger at Alex.

The teacher saw Kate and scolded her. Alex was crying because of joy while Kate was crying, literally crying.

They finally started push ups and surprisingly Kate was able to finish without passing out. She was amazed at how Erica pulled it of perfectly.

But the truth is Erica was thinking

I'm dying, I'm dying, I'm dying,I'm FUCKING DYING BLOODY HELL I CAN'T.

Hinata and Yui were in Group 4. While Yui killed it. Hinata was like an idiot. Her balance was terrible. Kate and the others were laughing at her.

"Oh shut up" Hinata yelled

They all moved to the next station

The one leg stance was easy for Erica and Kate. Up next was the sit ups. Kate was first and Erica held her feet down.

"Shitty...23...shiit...24 ..shit..25..." When she finished she layed down and said, "Your turn Erica"

They switched places, "Are you ready" Kate asked

"Yeah, easy peasy...1...2....3......"

(Kate's Pov)

Erica's counting started to trail off. Hmmm I hope there's good food today in the cafeteria. What club should I sign up for? Sports Club....sports club is actually easy but after that incident when I was still in grade 8 no thanks. Well maybe photography club, it's very fun plus you get to roam around the school pretending to do something.

"....20...22..."Erica continued to count

Wow she really does have beautiful eyes. Green eyes match her long black hair. She is so cute.

(Erica's Pov)

"15....16....17..." ughhh I can't. Good thing the next one is running, I like running. "....20...22..."

Now that I think about it if Kate doesn't wear any glasses her eyes really stand out. If she fixed herself more I bet...

I had already finished counting. Without realizing, we were both staring at each other for a few minutes. Then the teacher shouted "GIRLS HURRY UP IT'S TIME TO GO TO THE FIELD".

The two of us were startled. Kate stood up and held her hand out to me. "Here let me help you" Kate said smiling. I took her hand and said "thanks" while I blushed.

It was finally time for the two of us to run in the field.

"WHAT 5 LAPS?? MYGOD" Kate complained once again

"Come on you can do it we'll go slow first", Erica said.

Kate was reluctant at first but she finally agreed and smiled.

It was already the last lap when

"K-Kate?" Erica called.

"Y-you...can go a-ahead" She was out of breath and kept on wheezing.

Yui and Alex were shouting "KATE YOU CAN DO IT"

"I'll buy you food if were not the last to finish" I tod Kate

"...Really?!"

I nodded my head

All of a sudden Kate was running really fast and left me in the dust.

"Wait!" I shouted while trying to catch up with her.

After they finished changing their shirts the 4 of them were laughing about the events earlier. Kate was "resting" (sleeping) in her seat. While Erica was talking with the other three. Hinata passing out was the funniest thing. Alex was one of the sudents that had the highest grade in P.E. Yui pulled everything of perfectly.

Their next subject was math.

"I hate math" Erica sighed, "I suck at it".

"Me too" Alex said.

"Aren't you suppose to say we all do?" Hinata asked

"No,because SOME people here like it" Alex groaned

The teacher arrived, they all stood up and greeted him. Rightaway, he gave them a hard problem.

The teacher called Kate's attention because he saw her sleeping.

Ms. (Kate) Mills can you please answer this question?

Kate was startled. She got up and walked towards the board.

It did not take long for her to answer it.

"Very good" the teacher said.

She...she...answered it correctly? She did not even take long. Erica was shocked.

"Is she part of the people that like math? She asked Yui.

Yui laughed "Of course not"

Kate heard the two talking and answered "Yeah what Yui said"

"So you're good at it but you don't like it?

"Yeah pretty much"

The teacher proceeded to teach them.

When they all sat down Alex and Hinata were talking about somethin.g

"NO I DONT HAVE PICTURES OF LEVI FUCKING THE SHIT OUT OF EREN!" Alex shouted

"BUT WHYYY? Oh wait never mind, you don't like yaoi." Hinata answered

"Because yuri is better"

"That's where you're wrong, no it's not."

"YES IT IS"

"NO IT'S NOT"

They argued about it for a couple of minutes until-

"MY GOD CHILDREN SHUT UP" Yui was triggered "LETS JUST SAY BOTH IS GOOD JEEZ"

The both of them immediately shut their mouths.

She coughed, "excuse me"

"speaking of yuri, do you know the anime called 'Netsuzou Trap?" Erica asked

The four of them became silent. They all looked very uncomfortable.

Hinata was the first one to speak "W-what...about it?"

"I thought you guys knew that because it's a yuri anime."

Kate asked her "Do you know both the manga and anime?"

"Yeah"

"Your thoughts on both of them?" Alex asked

"Well the anime was pretty..." everyone was listening and staring intently.

"The anime was meh, If I were to rate I would give it a 6. The manga is meh too"

The others were relieved by what I said. They also thought that the anime and manga was crud.

"I didn't know you watch yuri anime" Alex said

"I don't really watch yuri anime nor read it, I just discovered it because I was searching for random series."

"Oh that reminds me why did you go to Japan anyways? I thought your dad was raised in England?" Yui asked

"He is actually half Japanese, my grandfather was born in Japan but when he met my grandmother who was from England. He decided to move there."

"Then why move here?" Hinata asked

"Ugh...bussiness stuff"

"Oh Okay"

"Yuri is still better though" Alex blurted out

Hinata glared at her

"Which one do you prefer Kate?" Hinata asked her

"Me?" She laughed "I love both"

"You can only pick one" Alex said

"Hmmm....I wanna say y-...never mind"

"Oh come on" both of them said, dissapointed.

Their discussion about yaoi and yuri continued. They all laughed about the jokes made. After they finished eating they all went back to their classrooms and class began.

Finally I can go home yes

*Bzzt* my phone? Since nobody texts me it's probably my mom

Mom: honey we're going out for a family dinner. I will probably come there late, wait for me ok?

Me: ok

Just when I thought I can go home early I sobbed "ugh fucking shit" welp since I have nothing better to do and all of them already went home I guess I'll roam around hell then.

While I was walking around hell, I saw Erica. I thought all of them already went home? Guess I'll talk to her.

I walked towards her and she noticed me.

"Hi Kate"

"Hi Erica, I thought you already left"

"My dad called me, he said he will pick me up. Why are you still here too?"

"Family dinner and shit, anyways you still have not seen the whole school yet right?"

"Yup"

"Do you want to roam it around with me?" I asked

"Sure"

(Narrator's pov again)

They went to different places. The highscool and gradeschool library, the covered court which was next to the field where they had their p.e, and the gym. She also showed her where the music, art room, and home economics room were. While walking to different places, they were both exchanging banter.

"And finally my favorite place in this hell" Kate said.

They went to the highest place of the school also known as the rooftop. When Kate opened the door-

"Wow!" Erica said excitedly

The rooftop had a small but appealing garden.The small patch of grass was surrounded by different potted plants and flower beds. It made the garden look vibrant. To top it off, the view there was absolutely stunning. You could see the beautiful path that was covered with trees. The whole school looked really good.

"It looks good right?" Kate asked while sitting on a wooden bench in the garden.

"I'm gobsmacked!" Erica responded

"So do you fancy it here?" Kate said while trying to copy Erica's accent.

Erica playfully rolled her eyes because of this.

Kate laughed "But seriously though?"

"Yes I love it here, the view is stunning. Why do you have a key here anyways?"

"Back then Mr. Geller asked me to water this place everyday, so he gave me a key."

"Teacher's pet are we?"

Kate scoffed "Like a puppy"

Erica laughed "Do the others know this place?"

Kate stood up and walked next to Erica and looked at the view too.

"Nope, this place is for teachers and I always come here alone, apart from watering it everyday I came here to...relax"

"Then why bring me here though?" Jokingly she asked "Could it be that you like me?

Kate looked at Erica

"Hmmm...Maybe I do"

Erica blushed really hard because of what she said

Kate laughed hard "I kid I kid"

"That's just mean" Erica retorted

"Haha...but in all seriousness I... don't really...know...?"

The sky was starting to get dark

"Why call this place hell when it's really beautiful?" Erica asked

"First of all nobody likes school, second of all traveling here is a PAIN in the ass, lastly something and some people made it hell for me" Kate responded

"I'm sor-" Erica wasn't able to finish her sentence because Kate's phone rang.

"Hello?...Yes I'm heading there right now...ok bye. Hey let's head down I need to go because my dearest mom is here" She smiled

"Yeah sure, my dad will probably arrive a little later too"

Kate locked the door before they headed downstairs. They went to the lobby and said their goodbyes to each other.

"Well see you tommorow"

"Yeah see yah"

Kate left and a while later Erica's dad came to pick her up.

"How was school?" Her dad asked

"It's better"

"That's great! by the way...." her dad's words started to trail off.
