When I opened my eyes, I could not see the armoured man that was about to kill me. I tried looking around but I see nothing but a lump of dust near my feet.

She pressed the right ear of the gargoyle and the wall behind it moved. It was surprisingly a secret path, but is it a coincidence? I keep running without knowing where to go after all.

“They are near, let’s hurry!!”

She said with an impatient tone. Her face looked icy cold, she looked really valiant when she showed me that cold look. It make my heart beat faster. When she saw me just staring at her like an idiot, she dragged my hand to enter the secret passage. When we are inside, the door closed on its own.

It was like an Automatic door from the modern-era. When the door closed completely, it was dark in here to the point where I can’t even see anything. I tried to grab her shoulder so that I will not lost my way, since she is the lord of this place she must know where to go even if she can’t see anything.

I see, now I get it why the human are trying to kill the demon. They are afraid, the human are afraid of the demon, because the demon are more powerful and their appearance is the same as that of a monster. Human really fear of the unknown, no matter which world it is, human is still the same.
