《Demon Forever》18- Law of space

The Golden King could not believe that an exalted Law seeker like himself was incapable of killing a puny ascendant god. He even went out of his way to take the opponent seriously and had sent an attack that would leave nothing behind.
His swords of light had been stopped before it could make any damage.
Even a peak ascendant god like Zenith could not boast of being able to escape death if put in the same situation as Djen.
Fear had started to take root in the King’s heart. He could feel an invisible pressure coming from Djen even though the King himself was a realm above the winged man.
The King then decided to use everything he had.
He looked at his daughter that was still recovering and sighed.
“Golden Palace. Appear.” the king said.
An ancient looking palace that looked exactly like the one Allan had in his inner world, appeared out of nowhere.
The palace shone and a blinding light was released in a three-kilometer radius.
Djen was immediately rendered blind. It took a few seconds for him to adapt to the light. He opened his eyes to see a world made of light. Everything was completely painted white by the light released by the palace. Only the golden king and Djen could be seen. Djen himself was eye-catching with his black wings and black hue released by his body.
The gigantic door of the palace slowly opened.
Humanoids that looked like the king then came out of it. It was a small army of puppets.
Two of the armored humanoids had the same cultivation level as the golden king. The other three hundred were all at the 9th tier of the Ascendant god realm.
Djen was looking at the scene with his black eyes widened in surprise.
“Again. The same Art that creates puppets.” Greed made Djen lose his cool. He had been waging war against his enemies alone and had died more two times already. He was thinking that if he was in possession of such a wondrous art that created puppets of the same realm to fight, his plans would have gone smoothly and he never would’ve died. His greatest weakness was that he preferred to do things on his own and had no friends he could ask help from.

“I must stay alive this time. I cannot afford to die for a third time. In this state, I can only tell that this is the second time the ancestral awakening had been activated. I have no memories of my other two lives. Each awakening only gives me the memories of the moment I created that drop of blood as a backup plan. I do not know how far I managed to get in my plans in those two lives but if I died, It must mean that I failed. I must find my previous body and salvage all the memories I can from it. I cannot die here.” Thought Djen.
The golden king then moved at the same time as his puppets to attack.
“Inside this limited version of my inner world that he is trapped in, I can control everything. The moment he let the light envelop him is the moment he lost all chances of leaving alive.” The king thought.
He abandoned his golden robe for an armor that instantly appeared on him. He also planned of fighting without a weapon.
With the other two Law seeker puppets armed to the teeth, he was assured to win.
Djen was swarmed by the three hundred 9th tier ascendant god puppets.
“Three Law seekers and three hundred ascendant gods.” Djen observed. “This light also restricts my movements by at least ten times my usual speed.”
“What a weird Art of light. That golden palace alone looks useless but what comes out of it is interesting. I must acquire it.”
Djen flapped his wings and made a grasping motion in the air before him. A weird, almost invisible bow then materialized in his left hand.
He pulled the bowstring and started sending invisible arrows to the swarm of puppets.
He sent more than ten arrows per second.
As each arrow touched its target, it changed shape and turned into an invisible power that restricted the movements of the puppets turning them into statues.

Soon, more than a hundred statues of puppets could be seen on the battlefield.
The golden king and his two Law seeker puppets had stopped their advance after seeing the strange power of each invisible arrow.
The King had no way of knowing if the arrows could restrict a law seeker. He then exercised caution and ordered his remaining puppets to try and avoid the arrows and immediately reach the enemy.
“Can he not understand that the closer they are to me the less difficult it is for me. I can send enough arrows fast enough even with the restriction of this light.” said Djen as he watched the puppets try to evade the arrows he sent at the same time advancing towards him.
The golden king grew irritated as he saw that more than half of his ascendant puppets had been turned into statues.
The king had taken his opponent seriously enough but it was still not enough to secure victory.
Sun had already recovered and was standing outside the light domain looking at the fight with anticipation.
The golden king then said: “Light domain x 10.”
The golden palace then shone even more and the density of the light increased ten times.
The burden on Djen’s body intensified. He was finding it difficult to move around.
He made his bow disappear and his two palms met.
He said: “I must finish this as fast as I can. He is a Law Seeker. His law is the Law of light. The only reason I can match him with a 1st tier Ascendant god cultivation is because I ignited a first rank Law, the law of space, when I ascended and also because I underwent ancestral awakening with a pure bloodline. His law of light is only a third rank elemental law. There is a huge gap in the strength of our Laws.”
As the palms slowly receded from each other, a small black orb could be seen.
The moment the black orb appeared, a suction force was released by it.
The light around Djen distorted, being eaten by the black orb that was slowly growing bigger.
He then threw the black orb in the middle of the puppets that were almost upon him.
As if a primordial beast was released, the black orb started eating the very space itself.
The puppets near it had been sucked away and more were on the way, struggling to escape.
It grew from the small inch long orb to a staggering meter long orb.
The light, the puppets, the earth...everything that was sucked into the orb nourished it and made it bigger and stronger.
Djen pointed at the orb and said: “I wonder...Do you care about the humans living on this planet? The longer you take to deal with it, the more danger this planet will find itself in.”
With that said, Djen then ran away.
The king looked at the black orb.
The King could feel that the orb would soon become a problem for even himself. As for the city not far from where he was, it was sure to end in the orb’s stomach. If he waited even longer to take care of it the entire continent was in danger.
He looked at the fleeing Djen then grit his teeth.
***
Djen was flying aimlessly.
After a few hours, he stopped at a barren mountain.
He opened a cave for himself.
“Time to deal with this body’s owner. I refuse to believe that he can stop me from completely possessing this body.” Djen said as he entered the cave.

The Last Orellen (An Epic Progression Fantasy)
According to prophecy, the ninth-born child of Lord Orellen will have the sort of power that changes the world. But in a land ruled by mage families, no one welcomes the possibility of a dangerous new player. Fearful even of their allies, the Orellens come up with an extraordinary and deadly scheme to protect themselves. If the most powerful sorcerers in the world wish to kill the ninth-born, they will have to find him or her first. And that's not going to be easy when the Orellens have called upon dark magic to create hundreds of heirs. The boys and girls are given new bodies, new names, and even new magical talents before they are scattered across the continent. Only one among them is the real ninth, but all of them will have to grow up in a world where they are fugitives. Kalen, once fated to die, is now an Orellen heir in hiding. And he is determined to survive, even if he has to master his strange new powers to do it. The Last Orellen is a long, character-focused progression fantasy set in a vast universe about a boy's journey to become a powerful mage. Reviews are deeply appreciated. Please do not repost my work elsewhere without my written permission. What type of reader is this book for? You might enjoy The Last Orellen if you like... Clever and resourceful protagonists. Big fantasy worlds. Multiple cultures, lots of characters, many different types of magic--this story is expansive rather than closely focused on a narrow storyline. Progression fantasy that takes its time. Our main character will be progressing through magical ranks, but this is going to be a lengthy story. If you're more about the journey than the destination, this might be the book for you. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
8 245Twins of Black and White (Pokemon Fanfic)
You know the drill. Truck-Kun decided that another person needed to die. This lucky, or unlucky person depending on how you look at it, was sent to the world of pokemon. They were born on the same day and in the same village as the future champion of the Sinnoh region. Unfortunately, they have no memories of this until they catch their first pokemon. This means that the MC gets to be childhood friends with the (in my opinion) most powerful of all the pokemon champions. This is a story about two friends having a journey to take on the Pokemon League together as they adventure and catch pokemon in this magical world.

8 53Zyon: The Alpha Of The North
Just as I think i'm going to make it out, i feel an arm wrap around my waist, lifting me into the air. My struggling does essentially nothing. I am incessantly weak, thanks to my non-compliant wolf. I feel myself being thrown onto the bed.I flip myself around to see him, standing at the foot of the bed, with his eyes darker than usual and a scowl set in. "I told you not to run, not once, not twice but thrice," he says. "You aren't going to like what I do now." As he leans down, I scramble towards the headboard, still on my back, my eyes never leaving his. "I told you I wasn't going to stay, why are you not able to understand..'' I'm cut short as I feel a hand wrapping around my ankles pulling me downwards harshly. I let out a scream as I kick my legs, trying to get out of his grasp. He wraps my legs around his stomach, grabs my wrists and pins them down, so he's essentially towering over me. I know what he plans to do. "Please Zyon, Please I don't want this." He looks at me and smirks, clearly enjoying watching me beg, "I don't care what you want. What matters is, what I want."------------------------------------------------Katherine is living a life of solace and acceptance with Daniel. With her wolf having become dormant, she has accepted the fact that she will live her life as a human. After all it was her own choices that got her here. Daniel, with whom she has fallen deeply in love is not her mate. She knows who her mate is, but has pushed him and all thoughts of him to the back of her head.
