Magic

Please note that the names of the mixtures are not all to be taken literally.

Changes from the last magic chart:

Fuel-less fire -- used to be blue flame --- blue flame removed

Autem --------- used to be lightning ------ lightning moved

magnetism ---- used to be barrier -------- barrier moved

grow ----------- used to be growth ------- growth renamed

Fuel-less fire

-consumes mana instead of air, allows the fire to exist in the water

Magnify

-like telescopes and microscopes

Breath of Life

-basically giving life to objects that were never living

Autem

-the reason floating islands float (see the Map tab for more details)

Mirage

-different from illusion, mirage creates images related to the target

Light Walk

-solidified light that the user can create to walk in the air

Weight

-force of gravity

Black Spark

-the beginning of black fire

Decay

-only works on living things

Mark

-helps mark one's place

Least Resistance

-can help dodge or cause land crits

Light Carving

-a way to carve weapons out of light

-similar to decay but for nonliving things

Overheat

-surpassing one's limits

Dark Smiting

-a way to smith armor out of darkness

Pegasus

-the title is a representation of monsters with wind magic at their core

Golem

-the title is a representation of monsters with earth magic at their core

Dragon

-the title is a representation of monsters with fire magic at their core

Kraken

-the title is a representation of monsters with water magic at their core

Unicorn

-the title is a representation of monsters with light magic at their core

Werewolf

-the title is a representation of monsters with dark magic at their core

Ent

-the title is a representation of monsters with wood magic at their core

Suit of Armor

-the title is a representation of monsters with metal magic at their core

Void

-an endless abyss that isn't fully understood

Spell Bubble

-a type of bubble that holds spells ready to be realeased

Gravity

-direction of the gravity

Illusion

-different from mirage, illusion creates images the caster wants

Familiars

-unlike summons, familiars can be re-summoned after dying

Magic Levels and what-not

Magic Types:

Active - A person can only have 3 magics chosen as their actives at a time. These active magics are the only ones that are capable of increasing in skill level.

Passive - These magics used to be active magics but were replaced with other magics. Passive magics can't increase in skill level unless converted back into active. Turning a magic into a passive magic reduces it's skill level.

Hereditary - These magics haven't been trained but were passed down trough their parents skills. These magics have been with them their whole life and can't be turned into active.

Note: People can't change magic types on a whim, there's a process they need to go through.

Basic 1-10

Master

Map

This world is not a planet but rather a plain. There is a ceiling and a floor. 75% of the way to the ceiling from the floor, the gravity flips. 50% of the way, raw Autem floats.

When players start the game, they will spawn in The Kingdom. The Kingdom is located in the center of the circle formed by the 13 gods'/goddess' cities. Monsters within this circle can be fought by those below or around level 50. These monsters are ordinary animals and animals that can use some magic. Other magical monsters are naturally found outside of the circle or in dungeons.

Too Small:

Bugs and other creatures smaller than mice can't exist due to the presence of mana. They can be created using mana but won't repopulate or last long. And yes, this is mostly so I can have a world without those annoying gnats flying into my eyes.
