Chapter 11

“Transform”

Then a dark shadow covered me, all of my body covered in darkness. I was pressured by the weight that suddenly got pushed on me for a second, and then it was done. I walked to the mirror to take a look at myself, and I see myself wearing a fitted black top with white stripes and long black pants. On top of the shirt was a red cape with white lining on the sides with long sleeves. In my hand was a scythe that was drowning in a black fog.

(* wait, I am supposed to get 2 outfits, I need to try out the other. *)

“ Void!” I called out.

“ Yes, master?” he answered.

“How do I equip the second outfit?” I asked.

“I am afraid you cannot just yet my lord,” he said.

“why?”

“That requires concentration and at least level 70,” he said.

“And you have neither and please don’t yell out “TRANSFORM” when you transform, just think it.”

(* well, nothing we can do about that I guess *)

“Schools tomorrow… let us train.”

I focused my eyes and cleared my mind so I could see my level.

(* Let’s ignore it for now *)

“ okay… Let’s have some fun!!” I said to myself as I walked down the hall to get to the practice room.

When I entered the room it was not what I expected at all. Nothing was in the room except 1 portal, which made it pretty easy to find the practice raid.

I walked inside the portal and I was surprised, this time my location was the beach, and everything looked normal.

“Wait, master!!” Void called out.

“ what?” I asked

“There are some things you need to know while raiding,” he said

“Like what?”

“You need to transform into battle form while in a raid or you will be infected. Your first transformation should do,” he explained.

“Wait… Really?”

“Yes, master.”

(* I see *)

(* Transform *)

And with that, I was in 1st stage of darkness mode ( what I decided to call the transformation).

I spent 5 hours in the Raid, and when Mr. Kim got home, I talked to him about what Void told me,

“This is a practice raid, so the side effects don't affect the raiders or people who enter it,” he explained.

“Why are they different from normal raids?” I asked.

“Because they are man-made,” he answered.

“So… we can make raids?”

“No we can, but we can make islands and dump monsters there. Then the mages make the gates to that location. Although few mages know how to use the portal ability so, it is expensive to make one.” he answered.

“Then how do you have one?” I asked.

“None of your business… Anyway, you have a long day ahead of you tomorrow go to bed.” he yawned as he walked to his room.

“Wait… what level are you now?” he asked

“I’m level 35,” I answered.

“I see… Let me tell you this kid, don’t get sad if you don't level as fast anymore. When you first awaken, you get x2 exp.” he said as he looked me in the eye.

“What about your costume? Do you have it?”

“Yes,”

“I- *pfft* If I remember, your soul was a *pfft* Lizard right? *pfft*?” he asked while trying hard to hold in his laugh.

“No”

“Wait what?” he said as if he was confused.

“This is my soul!!” I asked with confidence as I summoned Void out.

Void came out and his scales had formed, so had his wings.

(* Wait, isn't he bigger? Maybe its because I leveled up *)

“Yes, master. That is the reason.” Void said in my head.

(* I see *)

“By the looks of it seems like you have a dragon.” Mr. Kim said intriguingly.

“Yes, I do.”

“Well time for bed kid,” he said as he shut the door to his room.
