He brought along paper and gave it to me. I could feel the texture of this paper, it was thin yet silky and felt like baby powder when you touched it.
"You know, that thing is really, expensive." he gloated.
"If it is so expensive, why give it to me?" he stared at him suspiciously.
"Think of it as a gift. A welcome gift to being a family now." He said while smiling.
"I see."
"Well then, I will accept it."
Then I tried breaking the egg 1 more time, and I heard a crack. The egg was hatching. A blinding light suddenly appeared in front of me, and I see…

A blinding light suddenly appeared in front of me, and I saw a…
"Pffft"
"I'm sorry it was just way too funny." Mr. Kim said while trying to hold in his laugh.
I looked down to see what my Raiders pet was, and I was filled with disappointment. I mean who would want this as their pet?.
"You can call it back *pfft* if you *pfft* want. Baby pets need ener *pfft* energy." he continued.
"Umm… *pfft* nice pet kid." He finished as I gave him a cold, stern look.
I pretty much didn't talk to him the rest of the way. Just slept to my heart content.
"John"
"JOHN!!!"
"JOHNNN!!!!"
"Who is it?"
"It's me… I don't have a name."
"What do you want?"
"I need a name, John."
"Then pick one."
"You're supposed to pick one for me,"
10 HOURS AGO:
A blinding light suddenly appeared in front of me and I saw a Lizard?
"Wait is this, my soul?." I ask as it licks my hands.
"Are you the one who is to be my master?" the lizard said with a cute voice.

"Yes?" I replied.
"I'm sorry it was just way too funny."
And you know what happened from there.
PRESENT:
I tried to think of a name that could fit him but turned out blank.
"Hey, what species are you?" I asked.
"I am a Dragon." He replied.
"You are a dragon warrior so it is only fitting that you have a Dragon beside you." He added
Then at that moment, I could see him clearly he had scales as black as space itself but shiny particles on those scales. Although he wasn't an adult yet he looked around my age.
"So is this how you look after you get some energy?" I asked
"Yes, master." He answered
"How bout Void," I said.
"Excuse me?" he asked.
"Your name… It will be Void."
"Yes, master. From now on, I am Void." He yelled as I fell back to sleep.
I woke up in a room I had never been in, trying to remember what happened the day before.
"Where am I?… What's happening?"
"Finally awake kid?" A voice said.
I look beside me and I see a figure I wish I didn't have to see.
"I see you named your pet." He continued.
"How do you know that?" I asked.
(* I could have sworn that we were talking in an unconscious state *)
"Your mark is huge all across your hand," he answered.
"Anyway, you got the entrance exam tomorrow, so I got the materials for you. Also, there's a practice raid here so feel free to increase your level. I have to go to work."
"What work?" I asked
"When you are, older you will know," he answered as he walked out the door.

(* What's so confidential that I can't know? *)
I got up from the bed to freshen up and decided to go to the practice room. I get there by using the map that he drew on a paper that was on another paper that said
Make sure you get your custom outfit done.
(make sure it is made by you).
And eat properly, so you don't pass out.
(* Is he crazy? What does he mean by "made by me"? *)
"Master."
"I believe he meant that because of when you use your powers. It is advisable to transform because that gives you maximum use of the skill." Void said
"Really? How do we do it?" I asked.
"Relax your muscles and your mind, then think about a specific style you want along with a weapon… Visualize it." Void explained.
So I listened to Void, and relaxed my mind and muscles then yelled out.
"TRANSFORM."

While my writing style may be a bit rusty, I hope to be able to provide nothing more than a good book to sit down and read for awhile. P.S. I might not be able to be consistent with updates to the story, but I'll do my best! I hope you enjoy! ---------------------------- Cover art done by ShayeSoForgetful.

Until The Macros came, and in a blink of an eye it was destroyed. The Macros are beings of pure motivated Trinary code. They broke out of The Mirror Maze nearly instantaneously across the Consortia, inhabiting and taking control of the technologies from the most advanced worlds to the least. With no defenses capable of stopping them, they spread throughout the galaxy, destroying interstellar culture after culture. Far from the center of galactic civilization, The Palmyr Century was isolated enough to get advanced word of The Macro invasion.
