《The Class Of Dan ThunderField》98-Kaileen Battles

The power of Excalibur was quite extravagating. In fact, it was so strong that it even surprised Luke who never expected Valerie to pull something like that off.

Even though Valerie did pull off such a strong attack, she used up a lot of mana. It was most probably an attack that was meant to be used in case she was in danger of losing her life.

“You have so much raw power and yet, you are so weak.” Flesty said as she got ready to strike down another of her deadly attack.

“Damn it!” Realizing that she doesn’t have a choice, Valerie asks Luke a favor, “Luke! Take Princess Kaileen and run away, I will hold her off.” Valerie asked Luke. In response, Luke replied with a smile, “I am sorry, that’s not possible...Because the Princess has already decided what she wants to do.” As soon as Valerie heard what Luke said she quickly turned back to see that the Princess wasn’t there anymore.

“From The Tree of Hermes: Accelerate!” Appearing right behind Flesty, The Little Princess Kaileen activates her magic to fight her.

“What?! You want me to give this to Princess Kaileen?!” Salvian had a conversation with Carly during that time Carly handed over Salvian a scroll that had methods of learning magic from The Tree of Hermes. Salvian opened and looked into that scroll, “This magic...This is just Apprentice Class Magic, are you sure that this will help the Princess?” Salvian asked Carly.

Carly smiled and replied, “You just gotta trust Dan. After all, it’s his handiwork. That man’s a genius. If he wants to teach that girl something, it must be for her benefit, right?” Salvian didn’t seem surprised by that answer that Carly gave and smiled. “Yeah, I can’t deny, Dan ThunderField is a true genius. To orchestrate such a plan right under the whole council and the church. Only someone like him can be capable of doing that.”

PRESENT DAY,

At the very moment that Kaileen appeared behind Flesty, Flesty couldn’t move an inch, “She’s fast...Way too fast for me to handle but that spell that she used just now was an apprentice level spell. So why, why can’t I keep up with her speed.” That’s all Flesty could think about.

*Guh*

The sudden kick to Flesty’s face sent her flying towards a wall. “Is that really Princess Kaileen?” Valerie asks. She was just surprised by the Princess’s sudden power surge. She realized that her mana wasn’t too strong but yet, she was able to take Flesty by surprise.

“That is indeed our very own Princess. It’s just that you haven’t seen her fight for what she really ever wanted to fight. Now that her friend’s lives are on the line, she will give her everything to protect us.” Luke says with a smile. “But Luke, if anything happens to her-“ Luke interrupts Valerie, “I will protect her.” Valerie was surprised by Luke’s reply. “I can easily defeat Princess Flesty but I want Kaileen to defeat her or else she will always consider herself weak. She won’t be able to move on from her past self. Defeating her sister is the first step that she needs to take to get over her past traumas.” Luke continued to talk.

Just when Luke was talking, Valerie realized. She realized the difference of strength between Luke and every other student in the same class as theirs.

Flesty got back on her feet after she got kicked in the face by Kaileen. “Accelerate!” Valerie was surprised, “WHAT?! SHE DIDN’T EVEN NEED TO RECITE THE GOD’S NAME FOR THAT SPELL!”

Reciting a god’s name is important for a spell. Not reciting a god’s name means that a certain mage has already reached past the Veteran mage stage and reached the Grandmaster status.

*Swish*

“What the-“

Kaileen gets close up and personal with Flesty who hasn’t even full got back on her feet yet and punches her right in the face.

*Smash*

Kaileen punches Flesty right through the wall and she lands right into one of the houses behind the wall.

“So that’s how it is.” Luke notices something.

“What’s wrong?” Valerie asks Luke.

“Well, the thing is, normally, a mage would need to be at least at Grandmaster level to recite a spell without taking a God’s name. But in Kaileen’s case, it seems that she has only learned that one spell that she keeps on reciting to a point where she can recite that spell without taking a god’s name.” Luke explains. “This spell is definitely an apprentice spell but because Kaileen is petite, her movements are quite agile. This helps out with that spell because the spell needs good agility. The speed at which Kaileen moves causes her attacks to be more impactful because the faster you go, the harder you hit.”

Just as Luke continued talking, he realized another thing, “Sir Dan was always preparing Kaileen to use this spell from the start. Since day one, he has been training Kaileen and we never knew that.” Luke said. “What do you mean from day one?” Valerie asks Luke. Luke replies, “Well, it’s obvious, I am talking about that punishment. The lap’s one where she had to do run around for quite some time. We all saw that, right? I just realized that Sir Dan has been training Kaileen since that day. Without that, Kaileen wouldn’t have been able to use that spell without reciting God’s name.” Luke explains. Even Valerie looked surprised by Luke’s explanation.

Luke smiles and says, “Valerie, if what I am thinking is true. Even if Princess Flesty might be around that Veteran level, she won’t win against Kaileen who is of Apprentice level. That is why this battle has already been decided.”
