The old man standing behind Valerie says.

Dan questions the old man.

The old man looks at Dan and smiles.

Dan says.
“HEY!! COME ON NOW! GIVE ME SOME VALUE! I AM AN IMPORTANT CHARACTER TOO!”
The old man screams.
“Would you kindly shut the fuck up?!”
Valerie angrily says to the old man.
“Understood!”
The old man looks away.
Dan sighs.
“What do you want to do?”
Dan asks Valerie.
“Isn’t it simple? I want to kill you.”
Valerie says to Dan.
“I see. So that’s what it is...Alright, go ahead and do it.”
Dan opens his arms.
Valerie looks surprised.
“If that’s how it is then I will kill you just like you killed my father!”
Valerie rushes towards Dan.

She punches Dan in his face.
“That’s a good one.”
Dan says as he stands his ground.

She jabs Dan from the right.

She keeps on hitting him in the face. It seems that Dan’s face is almost unrecognizable. His eye is black, his nose and lips are bleeding. There are scratches on his left and right cheek.

Valerie punches Dan in the gut and he spits out blood.
“This is so boring...I was expecting that the famous Dan ThunderField I heard about would on some kind of challenge.”
The old man sighs.

Valerie questions Dan whose face is bleeding and filled with bruises and scratches.
“Oh, didn’t I say it a long time ago? You all my students that is the very reason I won’t ever hurt you.”
Dan says with a smile.
“THAT PISSES ME OFF EVEN MORE!”

The old man says as he looks at Valerie who unsheathes the sword and pushes it right through Dan’s heart.
“You say that you all are my students, you say that you want to protect us all but in the end, you took away someone precious to me.”
Valerie looks like she is about to breakdown.
“I DON’T WANT TO BE PROTECTED BY SOMEONE WHO TAKES AWAY PRECIOUS THINGS FROM ME! FIRST TARAND WHO WANTED TO TAKE MY ONLY FRIEND AND NOW YOU! EVERY ONE OF YOU JUST WANT TO THINGS PRECIOUS TO M-“
As Dan slowed his breath he hugged Valerie. Dan’s grip slowed down as he fell to the ground.
“I thought that he was a big shot but all he was capable of doing is getting himself killed by someone he doesn’t even know that well. What an idiot.”
The old man looks at Dan’s body and says.
Valerie stood there in shock.
“Hey Valerie, let’s go back. Tarand is waiting for us.”
The old man kicks Dan’s body.
“We have done what we came for.”
The old man says and walks away.
“Understood...”
Valerie soon gains back her composure and looks at Dan.
“You are indeed...A great teacher.”
Valerie walks away.
But...There was a slight smile on her face as she walked away, does the smile mean something?
