Salvian Brook is here. He stands in front of the King’s throne.
“Nobles!”
Every noble’s eyes were glued to Salvian.
“I ask you all to gather in front of the King’s Throne!”
Salvian requests all the nobles to make it in front of the King’s Throne.
Everyone walks right in front of the King’s Throne except for the guards who are guarding the castle.
“THE KING KOPPEL FRACIA IS HERE!”
Fracia walks to the throne with both his daughters.
Salvian gets out of the way as the King stands firm in front of everyone.
“Today, we have all gathered here for one and only one reason.”
Everyone knew what the reason was.
Luke, Jack, Izumi, Horrell, every single person knew what the reason was.
“I believe I do not need to state the reason for our gathering.”
There was a glint of sadness in the King’s speaking tone.
“I believe you do, my King.”
The familiar sound that everyone remembered from the tournament spoke.
The sound came right behind the King and the person who walked near the King was none other than Tarand himself.
Tarand wore a long black robe with a hood hanging behind it.
Luke angrily gritted his teeth and clenched his fist.
“I believe we do need to speak of this important event or else we won’t know what is so important about this send-off event.”
Tarand just smiled and everyone else watched.
The King looked sad but that’s all he could do.
“Yes, Bishop.”
The King says.
“Today we have gathered here to send off Kaileen Fracia. It’s important for us to hold this event because...”
The King was having a tough time speaking but he held his emotions in.
“It’s because Ares asks us to celebrate this feast before we sacrifice one of the royal blood to Ares.”

The King spoke in a dim tone. There wasn’t anything that he could do, even he knew that.
XXXXXX
Everyone tried to hold back their feelings about this situation. Izumi, Luke, Jack, Elena, everyone who was close to Kaileen.
“Is that so?”
A man wearing a Soukatai enters the court with a smoking pipe in his mouth. He is bald and he also has a long mustache.
“Father...”
Izumi looks surprised by that man’s appearance out of nowhere.
“Izumi, it’s good to see you again.”
The man smiles at Izumi who is standing near Carly and Horrell.
“Same here father.”
Izumi bows.
“Now, as for the ceremony you speak of King Fracia, is it true that your daughter is going to be a sacrifice?”
Izumi’s father asks.
“That is indeed correct, King Nakai of The Eastern Kingdom.”
King Fracia corrects.
“Ah, I see, so you are a power-thirsty King huh?”
King Nakai says.
“You are incorrect...That is not the case at all!”
Salvian tries to defend King Fracia.
“How am I incorrect? I mean, aren’t you killing off your own daughter-“
“Let me correct you, King Nakai, she is a sacrifice. It is not our will to kill her but it is Ares’s.”
Tarand smiles as he speaks and interrupts King Nakai.
King Nakai smiles, “Is that so? I am surprised how cruel your god Ares is. I am glad we worship Amaterasu. At least she doesn’t ask our daughter to kill herself off.”
Even though King Nakai spoke in a gentle tone, everyone felt the words he said like a dagger that pierced right through their heart.
“King Nakai, are you looking to go against the policies of our Kingdom?”
Tarand questions King Nakai.
“Not at all, it’s your Kingdom, your rule but I am just interested why the little daughter, why not the big one?”

King Nakai asks with a smile on his face.
“That is none of your concern-“
The words of Flesty who was standing behind Tarand, gets cut off by Nakai in an instant.
“Is it because your little daughter is a cursed child just like a few nobles here?”
King Nakai interrupts Tarand with his own words.
The words of King Nakai took everyone by surprise as well as fear.
King Nakai smiles and looks at King Fracia, “My own daughter is a cursed child. That’s the reason everyone used to be afraid of her-“
*BANG*
“FUCKING OLD MAN!!!!! YOU CAME TO CARLIVA, THEN YOU COME HERE NOW AND YOU DIDN’T EVEN MEET ME! HOW DARE YOU?!!!! YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!!”
A familiar voice shouted out.
Izumi instantly knew that voice.
“SIR DAN?!”
All his students looked surprised.
“...Why is Sir Dan acting like he wants to kill father?”
Izumi is sweating in confusion.
“Dan?!”
Even Carly looked surprised.
“My, my, I didn’t expect this surprised.”
Tarand looks surprised.
WHAT CONNECTION DOES DAN HAVE
WITH THE KING OF THE EASTERN KINGDOM?!
