Tarand holds Dan by his neck. There doesn’t seem any escape for Dan.

Carly screams form the crowd ready to jump into the arena.

Everyone tries to stop Carly.

“Wait a minute, Carly, it’s just a tournament! It’s just a tournament! His not in danger!”

A weapon made of hot fire that will incinerate anything in its way.

Izumi angrily swings at Tarand as he gets away from Dan. Dan falls to the ground.

“Sir Dan!”

Izumi quickly goes near Dan who seems to be unconscious.

“My, I never expected you to jump in recklessly like that.”

Tarand smiles.

Izumi stands in front of Dan with her Sword of Amaterasu. Her eyes were filled with rage.

“You are going to pay.”

Izumi looks angrily at Tarand.

“How much for a freshly cooked Sir Dan?”

Tarand smiles.

Izumi disappears and appears right in front of Tarand. That’s how fast she went.

Valarie says.

“Yeah, it seems she was holding back against the Princess.”

Everyone including Izumi looked surprised because Tarand caught Izumi’s scorch burning flame in his palms.

Izumi bleeds out blood from her mouth when Tarand punches her in the gut and sends her flying near the edge of the arena.

Jack says.

Elena looks scared and holds onto Jack’s shirt.

“Are Izumi and Sir Dan going to be okay?”

Elena asks. Her body seems to be shivering.

Valarie sits near Jack and Elena.

“I don’t know...But if Sir Dan can’t defeat Sir Tarand. No one in that arena can.”

Valarie says.

Elena looks scared.

Tarand grabs Izumi’s hair and drags her in the middle of the arena.

“My King! Shouldn’t we do something about this situation?!”

Salvian asks Fracia.

“We can’t do anything. It’s a tournament.”

Fracia turns a blind eye to what’s going in the arena.

Tarand raises Izumi’s head and looks at her.

“You had such potential and yet you decided to choose that kid over me. Why is that? Was it because he treated you better or was it because he helped you like those other kids in his group or is it because you love him...” Tarand shows an evil smirk and whispers, “Or maybe, you were just looking for a hot time with him.”

“YOU DON’T KNOW A THING ABOUT SIR DAN!”

Izumi screams at Tarand.

“Is that your answer?! Unfortunately, that’s a wrong answer, so it’s time for punishment.”

Tarand swings Izumi’s head right into the ground.

Everyone looks away from the arena.

“LET GO OF ME! I WILL FUCKING KILL HIM! FIRST DAN, NOW HE IS HURTING HIS STUDENTS! LET GO!”

Carly is trying hard to force everyone to let go of her but no one lets go of her.

“Carly think about it! If you go in there, it’s a disqualification for Dan’s team and Dan will lose his job.”

Sam says.

“I want to help the kids as much as you do, kiddo but this is for Dan. Just endure a little longer.”

Jake tries to convince Carly.

“KYAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!”

Tarand crushes Izumi’s leg in his hand and holds her upside down.

“You still have a lot of energy left.”

Tarand smiles.

Taani and Pears quickly leave the seat and so do Brake. Carly is left by Sam and Jake and even Mister Inach quickly makes his way to the arena but there is a barrier stopping them.

“What the-“

“I know you want to help them but you won’t be able to.”

Ulric says to them.

“WHAT THE HELL ULRIC?! YOU FUCKING SADIST, LET US IN! THAT GIRL IS IN DANGER!”

Pears screams at the top of his lungs.

“They haven’t said that they have given up yet, so none of you guys are allowed in there.”

Ulric says.

“Tsch!”

Carly begins to punch the barrier.

“BREAK!”

“Shouldn’t we do something, my King?”

Salvian asks Fracia.

“Even you know who Tarand is Salvian. Do you still wanna go in there to help Dan and his students?”

Fracia asks Salvian.

“I do! I don’t care! That is the man who saved my sister and I am indebted to him. If it was anyone else that was in there. I wouldn’t have even thought about going in there but that’s Dan ThunderField, he is the man who saved my family.”

Salvian says. He looked determined.

“The orders are to stay here, Salvian.”

Fracia says.

“I apologize my King. This order is something I can’t obey. Imagine if your daughter was ever in danger and that man saved your daughter, you would do the same thing as me because even you love your family just like me. I don’t know much about Dan but he is someone who my sister deeply cares about and I will protect him before my sister goes in there and does something reckless.”

Salvian says.

“I will not notice a word you have said.”

Fracia says.

“Thank you, my King.”

Salvian takes his leave.

“I wish I could save the boy and even Izumi too Salvian...But that boy is up against one of the strongest political figures of this Kingdom.”

Fracia makes a guilty face.

Izumi is in the middle of the arena. There is blood gushing down her forehead. Her nose bleeds from excessive damage. Her right arm seems to have broken and she can’t stand properly because her left leg was crushed by Tarand. She still stands in front of Dan. She is groggy and is unable to stand properly but she still tries.

“My, look at you, I thought you would have been down for sure.”

“Horrell?!”

Jack looks confused by Horrell’s sudden sounds of exhaustion. That’s when he realized something. Horrell’s hands were on the ground parallel to Dan.

“Horrell you didn’t...”

“That used up a lot of mana but I am sure...Sir Dan can win now.”

Horrell falls on the ground. She falls unconscious.

“Huh?”

Someone lifts Izumi from behind.

“Sir...Dan...”

Izumi smiles.

The wind blows wildly as Dan looks at Tarand. Dan had a poker face. He didn’t show any emotions.

“Dan!”

Carly smiles as she looks at Dan who has stood back up.

“Phew! The kids safe.”

Pears says.

Dan walks back.

“Take her or else I won’t be able to go all out in her state.”

Dan says to Jack who gets up and walks up to the arena.

“You better win this. She gave her all to keep you in the arena.”

Jack says to Dan.

“I will. I don’t intend to lose. Not after what he did to Izumi.”

The pressure that Dan left was intense. It was just like the time when Dan fought Umba.

Jack nods as he takes Izumi in his arms.

“MEDIC!”
