Valarie Isia or as the Princess calls her, Val, she is the last person I want to fight. It’s not because I can’t defeat her but I have a crush on her.

“I guess I will have to defeat you, just like that last time.”

The last Valerie defeated me was about 7 months ago when I touched her in someplace I shouldn’t have. It was a mistake I sweat...If it was Sir Dan he would have been like, “Good job kiddo!” Or something like that.

Jack sighs.

“What is it that you desire?”

Jack asks.

Dan and Luke’s eyes widen.

“What a stupid question! I desire to protect Princess Kaileen and-“

Jack interrupts Valerie.

“WRONG!”

Jack finds the attention of each and every person in the crowd including the King.

“It isn’t your desire to protect the Princess. It is a duty in which you have already failed. The Princess is going to die any day soon and even you know it and what do you think you are doing here? Instead of finding a way to save her, to find a way to stop the execution, what are you doing here?”

Everyone’s eyes were glued on Jack. There wasn’t a single person making their move.

“I could say the same thing as your teacher.”

Valerie says. Her eyes filled with rage and anger.

“That’s where you are wrong. Our teach, he isn’t someone who sits idly like yours and does nothing.”

Valerie clenches her sword tightly and brings it near Jack’s neck slicing it a little.

“Our teach is the type of person who wouldn’t say it and yet do things that makes him feel like an older brother.”

Jack holds Valerie’s sword.

“Our teach is someone who will hide things just so that we don’t worry about him.”

Jack keeps a tight grip on the sword and begins to pull it away from him. His hand bleeds.

“That’s right!”

Luke joins in and attacks Trisha with an extended pole.

“Trisha knocked out of the arena!”

Ulric announces.

“Sir Dan is someone who will never say it but he really cares for his students more than anything.”

Luke smiles and thinks of the time when Dan wanted him to grow up.

Elena appears behind Sasha and attacks her in the gut sending her out of the arena.

“He is someone who will sacrifice even himself for us. I can vouch for it more than anything.”

Elena looks at her paw thinking of the time that Dan sacrificed his eyes for her.

“You know, Kaileen. As much as you try to deny it, you can’t do it, can you?”

Izumi and Kaileen, both their fists clash.

“YOU CAN’T DENY THE TIME THAT SIR DAN SAVED YOU EITHER!”

Izumi angrily looks at Kaileen. Izumi has never been angry at anyone before but this was the first time she felt this anger inside her growing slowly against Kaileen.

“Sir Dan will never say what he is doing but he is always there, protecting us from all the danger.”

Horrell smiles.

“He said that he will protect me and he indeed did protect me even though I am a cursed child.”

Horrell keeps both her palms on the ground.

“FROM THE TREE OF FREYA: MASS HEAL!!!”

Dan looks around him at his students praising him.

“That man has some good students under his belt.”

Pear says with a smile.

“Indeed, he is worthy of the name Prince Dan ThunderField.”

Taani smiles.

“Prince?!”

Everyone around Taani except for Sam, Brake, and Jake looks surprised.

“You didn’t know?”

Taani asks.

“Dan is a Prince of the once most powerful Kingdom ThunderField. His father was someone everyone looked up to and his mother was someone who everyone admired.”

Taani says.

“Everyone wanted to walk besides Dan’s father and whenever Dan’s mother visited any land, those lands were said to be the holy land.”

Jake smiles.

“Father...Is that the reason why Carliva has such a huge amount of fishing and agriculture supplies?!”

Carly asks Jake.

“Indeed.”

Jake smiles.

“Dan ThunderField is no different. The silver hair of his mother that everyone adored and that heroic look of his father that everyone followed. He is indeed their son.”

Mister Inach says.

“Mister Inach, you too knew about that?!”

Carly asks.

“We know about Dan’s past but Dan himself doesn’t. I’d like to keep it that way because if he knows about his past, he will surely go on a dangerous expedition. He isn’t ready for that yet.”

Sam says.

“Dangerous expedition?”

“I agree. We will have to hold it off until the Prince gets a little stronger than we can see a whole new world that the Prince has set for us.”

Mister Inach says with a smile.

Everyone seems to be in a good shape with the mass healing spell that Horrell cast on her allies.

“Your speech doesn’t mean much to us.”

Valerie says.

Jack smiles, “I know it doesn’t mean much to you but they are some individuals who are hindering to fight back.”

Valerie looks surprised.

It is the truth. Sven, Kaileen, and even James are finding a hard time to fight.

The steel sword that Jack held broke with great force.

“I just want to say this, the reason I lost the other day wasn’t that I was weak or anything. The reason I lost that day was that I thought that I had seen the most beautiful woman on the planet but today. I will need to defeat her and I am going to do it.”

Valerie’s face turns red as Jack smirked and he silently whispered those words.

Jack gently clothesline’s Valerie out of the arena and they both fall out of the arena.

“Jack and Valerie out!”

Ulric announces.

“Do you seriously think I am the most beautiful woman on the planet?”

Valerie asks Jack.

“Yeah, I do...”

Jack replies.

“Hmph! Idiot!”

Valerie gets up and walks away.

“Huh?! What?! Did I upset her?!”

Jack didn’t know what happened but Valerie hid her smile from Jack.

“I think so I will walk out of the arena that will make it easier for you and the team, right?”

Sven says to Elena.

“Are you seriously going to do it?”

Elena asks Sven.

“Yeah, I don’t want to train under Tarand. I understood training under him that being a close-range fighter isn’t my type of thing, you know-“

“Guh!”

Someone hits Sven out of the arena.

“SVEN!”

That person soon knocks Elena out of the arena too.

“Sven and Elena knocked out!”

“WHAT?!”

Dan looks surprised.
