The next round is going to be quite an important one. It’s the finals but there is one thing I need to do before the finals.

I stand before Horrell’s brother Salvian.

Salvian is bowing is head. I sigh.

“First of all, please raise your head. It doesn’t suit that the Commander of the King is bowing in front of me and secondly if the wish is my power, I will surely help you out.”

I don’t find this guy to be a bad one. Plus his Horrell’s sibling, so I might as well help him out.

“Please be Horrell’s guardian until I find a better guardian for her. Can I ask you to do that?”

Salvian seems to be quite a caring brother. I guess the reason she was afraid of her brother was that she felt that her brother had sold her something. I don’t know, my mind is just making up things now.

“Why don’t I be her guardian?”

Carly pops between us.

“Miss Carly? Are you sure you want to take this responsibility?!”

Salvian seems to be shocked by Carly’s interference.

“Yeah, I think so Horrell and I will make a great pair. I can also continue to train her from that time when I stopped training her physical strength in Carliva.”

“If Horrell doesn’t mind then, I will not either.”

Salvian says. He looks at Horrell who is hiding behind me.

I smile and so does Carly.

“Great! That means we got everything settled here, right? No questions or any objections?”

Carly asks us.

“Nope!”

I raise my hand.

“If Horrell is fine with it, so am I.”

Salvian says. I haven’t seen a genuine smile on the guy’s face. It’s a first for me.

“I have to get back to the King, so you guys can head back too.”

Salvian says.

I nod.

He soon leaves. I guess he was in a hurry since I called him immediately. Good thing this matter is settled.

Izumi pulls my shirt, “Hmm?”

“Thanks for helping out Horrell. She has been quite worried about those things that were happening to her. ”

Izumi says. She smiles.

“I could see that.”

I smile.

“And she is one of my close friends too.”

Izumi says.

The hell? First Carly and now Izumi, both are attracted to Horrell like she is their own family. Does this what friendship means to women? I didn’t even see any kind of development that led to this.

Izumi asks.
