《The Class Of Dan ThunderField》32-Thank You For Raising Me
Advertisement
It’s time to leave the city. I pack my bag and get ready to go down but there seems to be a wild tension between the ladies.
“So you like Sir Dan?” Horrell asks Carly.
“Of course I do, I have always liked him.” Carly replies with a smile.
“Is that so? Interesting that Mister Handsome chose you.” Elena’s sharp eyes look right into Carly’s eyes.
“What does that mean?” Carly seems to be smiling but it’s a very dangerous smile.
“Sir Dan is quite a gentle person.” Izumi says.
“What kinda weird shit are you girls on about?!” Carly is totally confused but is still smiling...
“I don’t care about anything. I just want to make a baby with Dan.” Gracie says.
“Eh?” Carly and all the other girls seem to be confused.
At this point...Even I am confused about what is going on here...

“It’s time to leave everyone.” I say as we begin to move out.
Why is there so much tension between the girls of our group?!
“Hmm?” We all move out of the Inn with our backpacks and stuff to find quite an unbelievable sight.
“Our Little Dan has grown so much.” Mayor Green says with a smile.
“I have only heard of big brother Dan and how he is the pride of this city. I can see why people say that.” That young kid...That’s the vendor’s little kid, right?
“Your name is...Grey, right? Your Marley’s kid, right?” I ask the little kid.
“I am surprised that big brother Dan knows about me, I mean I was only five when I met you, so for you to remember me that is a surprise in itself.” The kid definitely is jumbling up some words but it’s fine.

I smile.
“Little Dan, this city thanks you for what you have done for us. It’s like that one time-” That old lady Granny Kai says.
“Not again Granny Kai, Dan needs to leave. He has things to do now.” Mayor Green interrupts Granny Kai or else she will tell one helluva long story.
“Yeah, you are one hell of a kid, ThunderField! If you ever wanna buy something be sure to check out my store in the Kingdom.” Missus Wilson says.
“Yeah, she’s advertising even when we are sending our goodbyes to Dan.” Mister Trevor says.
Everybody laughs at his joke.
I smile...This city...It’s my home and I am about to leave it once again...
“Sir Dan?”
I bow down to the people of this city, “I am the one who should be grateful to you all. You all have raised me to be the person I am today. I won’t ever forget anyone of you. I won’t forget Granny Kai and her stories, I won’t forget Mayor Green always standing up for me, I won’t forget Mister Trevor’s funny yet unfunny jokes nor will I forget Missus Wilson’s shops and I surely won’t forget the little kiddo Grey who always jumbles up his words. Most importantly...I will never forget Mama Serena’s love and care for me and the City I grew up in. I am grateful to everyone for raising me to be the person I am today.” I say as I bow down with a smile.
Izumi bows down next to me, “Izumi?”
So does Carly, “Carly?”
Everyone around me bows down to the crowd, “I thank you for raising me as well!” Carly says.
“Sir Dan as always been a gentle and kind person who thinks very kindly of people he cares about. I thank this city who nurtured Sir Dan to be such a kind person.” Izumi says.

“We are all grateful to Sir Dan for what he has done for us but more importantly, we are grateful to the City that raised him to be such a person.” Horrell says with a smile.
Granny Kai walks up to me, “Little Dan...” Granny Kai holds my shoulders, “You have not only grown as a person but as a guide to the kids here. I believe that those kids are grateful to you in many ways. So please take care of yourself and those kids too. That’s all I have to say to you because I believe that those kids behind you need your guidance more than anyone else.” Granny Kai whispers to me.
I nod, “I will.” I say with a smile.
“It’s time for your bus, you should leave now.” Granny Kai says as she makes way for us.
We walk through that way as everyone makes a way for us all to walk.
It’s time to leave so we get on the bus, “Bye everyone! I will be back during the holidays or whenever I get a break.” I say as I leave.
Everyone waves goodbye as we leave.
XXXXXX
The bus has gone quite far.
“Granny Kai, when are you going to tell him the truth about yourself?” Mayor Green asks.
“There is always a right time for things. Now is not the time for it.” Granny Kai says.
“We all know that he is your grandson in blood and flesh. You should at least let him know...” Missus Wilson says.
Granny Kai looks away, “If he knows about himself, he will have to face the past and if he has to face the past...He will have to deal with those of the Royal blood. I think, for now, let will him be free. I don’t want to bind shackles over him. I want that little boy to live his life like a free Prince instead of a Prince who is bind by the shackles of his bloodline.” Granny Kai says as she leaves.
Mayor Green smiles, “Prince Dan ThunderField of one of the Great families who were destroyed in a war almost 20 years ago by another Great family. Now...He lives the life of a normal teacher.” Mayor Green narrates.
“If what we have heard is true and Tarand is truly the person who is interfering with you...” Missus Wilson narrates.
“Little Dan will need to be careful because that man is nothing less of danger...” Granny Kai narrates.
XXXXXX
The bus is on its way back to The Fracia Kingdom. I hope we all are ready for what is thrown at us. Even if we have trained quite hard for the last month or so...I have a bad feeling about this.
I look at Izumi sleeping on my shoulder...
There is a lot riding on you...Team Leader Izumi...

Dungeons Are Bad Business
Vee Vales has been kicked out of his home and directed to make his own way in the world. Along with his friend Alforde Armorsoul, Vee travels to the city of Oar's Crest. Once a prosperous and well-to-do city, Oar's Crest has fallen into depression and disrepair. After finding a strange stone that takes up residence in a tattered top hat and introduces itself as Reginald, Vee and Alforde decide to open a dungeon in Oar's Crest to revitalize the city and, more importantly, make some fleurs. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Author's Note: Dungeons are Bad Business (DABB) is a slow burn slice-of-life dungeon core litRPG citybuilder that's focused on the day to day experience of running a dungeon. There will be some action, but it won't be the focus of the story and Vee and his friends will usually overcome their problems with their minds and their pocketbooks instead of their weapons. Since I'm participating in the writeathon, I will probably be uploading chapters almost daily for the duration of the event. Thanks for reading!

How to have fun in an apocalypse (Rewrite)
After spending an unsavory amount of time in hell, our protagonist finally manages to escape the place that had kept him captive for so long... again. Unfortunately, even after plotting and planning for years, he ends up in a place not much different from the burning and agonizing Tartarus he once had to call home. Guts, blood, and carnage start to reign over Earth as soon as he set foot in it, much to his dismay. What use is it to cry over spilled milk, though? Tired of the monotony of endless torture, he steps into the world intending to have as much fun as possible. While others might try to raid the Orc Lord with as many people as possible, why not challenge him to an arm-wrestling tournament? The power of friendship will surely be on his side. Why hide from the big, bad wolf in one of your houses if wearing camo in plain sight should have the same effect? Now, making friends and going on adventures would be perfectly fine, if it wasn't for the fact that he hides a few more secrets than one might think at first. This is a complete rewrite! Due to being unsatisfied with the previous version, I have decided to work the story up, beginning from the older chapters! Version 2.0 includes: - enhanced writing and editorial skills - additional information and aspects to characters - minor deviation from storyline and improvements

Long Shadow
No destiny, no choice, no hope. Our protagonist, a coward summoned to a world meant for heroes; a new world with new rules and old cruelties. Join him on his adventures as he must deal with menus, monsters, and mysteries in this litrpg fantasy. Thomas Goodwill was an average boy with an average life, all that changed when he woke up in a new reality. Now, out of his depth, damn near out of his mind, he must learn to survive in a game-like reality with no reloads, checkpoints, or save scumming. He does, however, have a drunk snake. Thank you for reading my first story, hopefully, the first of many to come. This will be my main story and is meant to help me practice and hone my skills as I slowly produce more complex ideas. It's a litrpg in which I want to only lightly focus on the mechanics as I don’t want to pad out the word count with math and number tables and while I want to add a few of my own twists here and there, overall I’m going to keep this story close to generic as possible so that I don't let my inexperience lead me into a corner. Thanks again to all willing to leave a review or some constructive criticism, without you I'd never improve. Unfortunately, Cover art is by me.
