The aura Umba is emitting seems to be giving Carly and Gracie the chills.

“This is kinda bad...” Gracie says.

“Kinda? This is bad...” Carly says in return.

“Don’t worry! I am not the type to pick on the weak. So I will of course watch you suffer but it won’t be me who will cause you the suffering.” Umba says with an evil smirk.

“What are you planning Umba?” Carly asks as she takes a fighting stance.

“Well, first to take your head, then, of course, the King’s head and when all and everything is done. Put the whole blame on that brat due to whom I lost my eyes.” Umba says as he gives an evil look.

“I did not expect you to be a traitor Umba...I made you General of the Army for a REASON! And you treat me back with such insolence!” Fracia says.

“This must be done, King Fracia. As it is his order, to eliminate you once and for all. After all, you and that boy are the only two people who stand in the way.” Umba says.

“Stand in the way? What do you mean?” Fracia asks.

“That foreign girl, Izumi, she’s one of the cursed ones too, right?” Umba asks.

Fracia’s eyes widen, “Plus she is an overpowered just like you and me. Her potential is beyond comparison as of right now but in the future, she will be a fucking monster. Oh, wouldn’t we love to use her powers once they awaken.” Umba continues to speak his evil plans.

“You are quite bold spurting out your plans in front of us.” Carly says.

“Of course I am, after all, you all will be dead to witness her powers.” Umba smirks.

“Shirogane, Freed, kill them.” Umba commands two people.

“I will continue my sweet talk with the King.” Umba says with a smirk.

“Gotcha brother!” A man with huge scissor-like sword says.

The man has covered his face except for his eyes and mouth and his black hair floats in the air as it gives an evil aura around him. It’s almost like his eyes are invisible and the scissor he holds has some kinda chain attached to it.

“I will take on that weirdo you take the girl.” Gracie says.

Carly nods.

The girl Gracie is talking about is quite short. She seems like a grade-schooler. Her hairs are quite long and her face has no expression to it. It’s almost as if she is some kinda ghost. Two black balls float around her.

“Oh boy...I don’t feel so good...” Carly says as she looks at the little girl.

“You think you might have any kinda chance but once Dan arrives you are screwed!” A woman says from the window.

“She’s right!”

“Yeah! Dan will defeat you!”

The crowd begins to join in.

“Dan? You mean that brat?! I am sure he will be enjoying the company of some of my other friends.” Umba says with a smirk.

“I am a mage of the Southern Empire, the name is Kizual Kiuai.” A man with closed eyes says.

I sigh, “What do you want?” Dan asks.

“Nothing really, I am here just to stall you-“

I sigh in disappointment as my fist smash right into this mage’s guts. I soon realize something.

“ELENA, LUKE! WE NEED TO RUN BACK, LET’S GO!”

Both Elena and Luke nod. I realized...That it might just be a possibility but...The raiders might have arrived again.

“It’s a surprise that one woman was able to take down a whole fucking army. I would love to have a taste of such a woman.” The man with the scissor sword says as he licks the tip of one end of the scissor sword.

“Sorry, but I will be the woman that will serve you today.” Gracie smirks.

“My, my, what a lewd woman.” The man says.

“What if I am?” Gracie asks.

“That just means that it will be more fun to have a taste of you.” The man says.

“I, Freed shall kill you than fuck your virgin body over and over again as I watch you die in agony!” The man says to Gracie as he manically laughs.

Gracie sighs, “That’s disgusting and also messed up. Plus, you don’t even know if I am a virgin or not and also I am not getting killed so easily.” Gracie says as she points her spear at Freed.

*Swoosh*

“I guess we will just have to find out!” Freed says as he lunges towards Gracie.

*Ting*

Gracie’s spear meets one end of Freed’s scissor sword.

Gracie is getting overwhelmed by Freed’s scissor sword, “What’s the matter, woman? Are you having trouble keeping up with my strength?!” Freed asks than begins to laugh maniacally.

“I don’t get overwhelmed by men like you. You are all disgusting fucks except for that guy...He is a totally different specimen.” Gracie says with an angry stare to Freed.

“Huh?” Freed gets caught off-guard.

*Catch*

Gracie holds the scissor sword and then kicks Freed in the gut.

“Damn, that was a good kick but it seems you are bleeding.” Freed says with a smirk as he licks Gracie’s blood off of his scissor.

Gracie removes a handkerchief from her armor pocket and ties it around her wound.

“This should do it.” Gracie says as she looks back at Freed.

“You are lucky I gave you time to bandage your wounds.” Freed smirks.

Gracie spins around her spear and points it towards Freed as she angrily stares at Freed.

Freed gives an evil smirk.

Fracia and Umba are having a face to face exchange, “Why are you doing this Umba? Why are you hurting people?” Fracia asks Umba.

“Why you ask? Isn’t it simple? I want to kill each and everyone one of the people here. They let a witch stay and banished me?! Me?! After all the things I did for this City...I just couldn’t handle it! I will have my revenge and you will be the sacrifice for the revenge!” Umba says to Fracia.

“Umba...You...You have changed. When you joined the court, I saw honor, determination and kindness in you but now...You have changed to a point where I don’t see anything but a villain in you.” Fracia says as he looks upset.

“Things have to change for the better good...I do this not only for me but for my daughter as well. Once everything is done and dusted and once the new King is crowned, everything will be fine. You will be my sacrifice and so will this city. We will be the people who will revolutionize the Kingdom.” Umba says.

Fracia looks upset and disappointed, “True sacrifices must be made but...Such sacrifices are not the necessary sacrifices. These sacrifices will only deepen the crimes you commit. You still have a chance Umba, turn yourself to the Kingdom and I will be sure to lessen your sentence.” Fracia says to Umba.

“I am sorry my lord, that option...Is not valid.” Umba says.

“What’s with that little girl?” That’s the first thing Carly thought as she looked at the little girl called Shirogane.

“You are sad, angry and in love, aren’t you?” Shirogane asks Carly.

“The heck?!” Carly seems to be taken off-guard by that girl.

“Fall back, don’t sacrifice yourself in this battle...I don’t want meaningless deaths.” The little girl Shirogane says to Carly.

“What do you mean by meaningless deaths?” Carly asks.

“It might not look like it but other than Umba, I am an overpowered as well. Plus I can read you pretty well just like others. You should live for the people you find precious, not sacrifice yourself. It’s not worth it.” Shirogane says.

“You mean, you can kill me? Is that what you are trying to say?” Carly asks.

“I am and I will if you don’t escape.” Shirogane replies with her stone-cold expression.

“Even if you can kill me, I can’t just abandon this city. I can’t abandon the people here. They are all precious to me, every single one of them. I will protect them no matter what happens.” Carly says.

“You don’t have the strength nor the resolve to even protect yourself, so how are you going to protect your loved ones?” Shirogane asks.

“WHAT DID YOU SAY?!” Carly snaps out.

“See, you got angry at such a little thing. It’s almost like you overreact at everything and that’s why you will never be able to protect someone you love. You don’t have a calm mind to make decisions and you let the anger take control of you. It’s like you are always angry...Not at anyone in particular but yourself.” Shirogane continues to speak.

“WHAT CAN A LITTLE GIRL LIKE YOU KNOW?!” Carly screams at the little girl.

“What can a grown-up with no resolve know anything about this little girl? For you, I am just another little girl or maybe an enemy. Unlike you, I always give my enemy a chance which you have wasted. It was your entire mistake for wasting such an opportunity.” Shirogane says as she points her palm at Carly.

Carly readies herself.

“Die!” Shirogane says as the black balls make their way towards Carly.

Carly dodges them easily.

Carly appears in front of Shirogane. It doesn’t seem that Carly’s appearance scared Shirogane. Shirogane’s face was as cold as an ice.

“Brats like you shouldn’t use words like that!”

Just when Carly was about to punch Shirogane, “Adults like you shouldn’t underestimate brats like me.” Shirogane says.

“What?!”

*Smack*

One of the black balls hits Carly in her back.

At that moment, Carly didn’t feel any kind of pain or anything, “What’s this ball of yours? It doesn’t even-“

But soon, “BLYAHH!!”

Carly vomits out blood, “What the-“

Carly’s vision begins to fade out, “Another hit and I will make quick work of you. You are going to die anyway, I better make it quick. You don’t seem like a bad person to me...You are just in my lord’s way, that’s all there is to it.” Shirogane says as she readies another ball to hit Carly.
