“Why the hell are you here Dan?!” Big brother asks me.
“I bought Izumi back that’s about it.” I say as I point at Izumi.
“You know this kid, Sam?” The King asks Sam.
Sam looks at the King and smiles, “If he has done anything good then yes if not he’s all yours.”
“WHAT THE FUCK KINDA RESPONSE WAS THAT?!!!!!!”
“Then I will continue own to say this, we cannot trust both of you and that is why we will need to conduct a thorough investigation on both of you and if you are somehow connected to the dark guild Necro...We will execute you.” The King says.
I sigh, guilds, they are all over the Kingdom and send adventurers on a mission. It’s just your normal daily stuff but when it comes to the dark guild...They do everything, from robbery to kidnapping to even murder and war.
“I have a class to teach in about 30 minutes, I will need to get going you know Mr. King.” I raise my hand.
“What?! Are you saying that you are going to disobey our King’s order?!” A guy speaks, he wears a long golden robe and holds a book in his right hand. I sigh and look at the guy, “If that’s what it takes to get to my class then yes, I will.” I say staring at that guy right in his eyes.
My brother looks at me and begins to laugh, “Big brother?” I am confused about what my brother is thinking right now.
“I didn’t realize up until now...That my little irresponsible brother is actually being responsible for once.” Big brother says.
I smile, “Everyone’s gotta do their job, brother.” I say with a smile.
“King!” My brother calls out for the King, “Yes Sam?” The King looks to be surprised, “You asked me if I know this guy, right? Well, I can guarantee you that this kid here isn’t a part of any dark guild. That’s because the little kid is my little brother.” Sam says with a smile.
The King seems to be surprised, it’s like an arrow just hit him, the King sighs, “You both are free to go.” The King says to us.
“WHAT?! BUT FATHER-“

“I can trust Sam’s words, that man never lies.” The King says.
There was a sigh of relief on the little Princess’s face.

Just like that...The court session was over and we were rewarded with some Zens (Type of money in this world) for getting back Izumi.
Big brother sure has a lot of power in the court.

“Why didn’t you do anything, father?!” Flesty asks Fracia.
“I couldn’t afford to lose that engineer...He is just that good.” Fracia says.
“It’s not about the engineer...There is some deeper meaning to this and I will find it out. Just because some lowly engineer said so, you decided that you will do as you wish...You just-“
“Why are you so focused on jailing that boy?” Fracia asks Flesty.
“Huh?!”
“That’s because Sir Dan was the replacement teacher for Sir Tarand.” Kaileen says as she begins to leave with Izumi.
Fracia looks at Kaileen leave.
“Is what Kaileen says true?” Fracia asks Flesty.
“What if it is true?! It’s not like he can replace Tarand...Ever...” Flesty says as she runs back inside the castle.
Fracia sighs, “What do I do with these kids? One hates me and the other one is so pampered and dumb...I wish...If only I could save our little girl...” Fracia looks sad.

Izumi and Kaileen walked together to the school, “Did you know...Sir Dan is quite different from Sir Tarand, Princess Kaileen?” Izumi asks Kaileen.
Kaileen seems to be surprised, “What do you mean?” Kaileen asks.
“He’s touch was so gentle and his words are very believable plus he has a cool personality and he can cook, he has a well-mannered way to speak to people and it feels good to sleep on his body since it’s quite warming.”
“S-s-s-s-sleep on his body?! WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN?!” Kaileen asks.
“Oh, Sir Dan and I slept together while he was teaching me to control my Ki.” Izumi says with a smile.
Kaileen is all red and it seems like she is going to erupt.

I finally made it back to the academy, I sigh, “Next time, I am not escorting a Princess.” I say with a sigh.
“Now, now, Luke, trash like you don’t belong here.”

Luke? Trash? What is going on over there? I look towards the place where I hear the voices from.
“You know guys, he never sleeps that’s why he is so weak.”
I see a few boys surrounding Luke but I am not entering just yet. I want to see what Luke does.
That one guy...He looks pretty much like Luke but...There his attitude is much different than Luke.
“Big brother...Can I go? I have a class to attend.” Luke says.
“Alright, I will have you attend the class but only on one condition.”
Luke’s brother...He has him change into a girly outfit. I didn’t think that Luke was getting bullied. The way he is, so much more cheerful and smiling, no one would know about that.
“Look at him!”
I hear the laughter of several senior students but I don’t do anything.
“Be sure to take his pictures.”
I won’t be the one who will be fighting fights for my students, this is Luke’s fight...I will definitely guide him though.
SEVERAL MINUTES LATER,
Luke begins to walk past me, “Be a little braver will ya?”
Luke looks behind him, “Sir Dan...” Luke looks surprised.
“You saw everything... Didn’t you?” Luke asks me. I nod, “Why didn’t you do anything?” Luke asks me with a sad face as he looks down to the ground.
“It’s because this is your own fight.” I say as I look at Luke.
Luke gives a sad smile, “My own fight huh? How the hell am I supposed to fight back? I don’t have the power nor do I have the guts...” Luke clenches his fist, “I can just smile and move forward...That’s all.” Luke says with a smile.
“That’s not an option. You will have to fight back.” I say.
“I CAN’T DO THAT THOUGH!” Luke screams at me, “YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND MY PROBLEMS!”
I grab Luke’s collar, “I don’t understand your problems?!” I look angrily at Luke, “Oh you have problems, that’s great and all but there are students with bigger problems than your wussy bullying shit! Did you know that Izumi can’t control her mana and due to that she killed a lot of people back in her hometown?! Did you know that the Princess doesn’t want to die and yet she is the one who is being sacrificed due to the bullshit Ares ritual?! Did you know that Horrell used to get stabbed every day by the soldiers and almost got raped?! DID YOU KNOW ANY OF THIS?! You think you getting bullied by some kids is a big problem? Grow a pair of balls and step up! Your problem is a little kid compared to theirs.” I say as I leave Luke’s collar.
Suddenly, Luke hugs me, “What the-“
I feel the wetness of the tears flowing from his eyes, “Luke?”
“I don’t *Sniff* I don’t want to be bullied...Help me Sir Dan *Sniff* Help me get stronger...”
This kid...I sigh, “I will help you get stronger not only physically but mentally...You will need to be the one who needs to get stronger.” I say with a smile as I rub Luke’s head.
I may have gone a little overboard with the problems thingy...
“The festival...There is a festival coming at the end of the next month. I am taking part in it. There will be a tournament there...” Luke wipes his tears and looks at me.
“I will defeat my brother and his gang there...Until then, I am going to endure it all.” Luke says and this time, there is determination in his eyes.
This kid...He really is something. I pat his head, “I will help ya get stronger.” I say with a smile.
XXXXXXXX
“Let’s get to the class, Sir Dan!” Luke says as he gets ahead of me.
“Yeah, we should.” I say with a smile.
XXXXXXXX
Somewhere in a dark place, "What?! You dare come to me empty-handed!"
"Sir...I am really sorry, that man...He was just too powerful for us to handle..."
There seems to be a talk between four people in a dark place.
"A man?! You three ran away just because of a single man?! Are you fucking kidding me?! Is this some kinda joke?!" The man angrily wears a robe.
"It's time that I take action myself...I will get that Princess myself." The man says as he gets past the three men in the room.

Having a hunch that Jordan is the cause of the occurrences happening around town, Stanley tries to get to the bottom of things. Can he pull it off without digging too deep and losing his sanity? (Just a heads up in advance, this is a pretty slow-paced story, so it'll take a while for the main plot(s) to get going)

8 159Horizon Dawn
A story of an Order of Justice and Hope in the world where strength rules all. In the world where gods have maturities of kindergarten. Where nations rule by political backstabbing and power supremacy. In a multiverse where power is the symbol of fear. In that world, the Queen of Good played her reverse card. That day marks the resurrection of an old fashion ideal. It is the gathering of naive fools who believe the Right makes Might. But these, like many fools before them, will change the world. "Only the weak succumb to brutality." Superman, Kingdom Come

+++Working on new chapters. Share what I've posted with your friends and family! Be sure to build strong bonds with those who are important to you. We only have each other in this world for so long!+++ Can Roderick XXIII gather together and train a party of adventurers to clear out Madeon Caves and bring peace to the wildmarches of Midthalion? Sent from his home monastery in the west to the wildmarches of Midthalion, Roderick the Holy Avenger is devoted to living out his oath to bring the Holy Light to the dark corners of the world. He enlists the help of an old friend, Ulrich Vogelbrandt the dwarf druid, to train and prepare a fighting force capable of defending the west from the evil they both see gathering and growing in the east. Eoroth is an ode to Tolkienesque epic fantasy, Robert E Howard and H.P. Lovecraft's pulp fiction, and Gygaxian Dungeons & Dragons. I like to write about serious topics because I think it's fun. I hope it makes for a fun read. Place: Eoroth, a vast, flat world with many continents set in oceans that reach out and mingle with the Celestial Sea. Our story takes place on the continent of Thalion in the middle, unsettled region called Midthalion. Peoples: Races in Eoroth aren't different species; the species of man is just incredibly diverse, consisting of many known races (and perhaps some unknown). There are no humans in Thalion. Thalion's races include variations of elves, dwarves, halflings (billowits), pierros (clownish men), bergeracs (long-nosed and swarthy men of honour), orcs, trolls, goblins, and hobgobs. The Church: There's one dominant religion in Westhalion. The faith of the elves is an analogue to Roman Catholicism while the dwarves practice an Eastern Orthodox analogue. (Forgive me for not having figured out names yet.) The practitioners worship a triune god (the All-Father, Son-of-All, and Holy Light). There are many powers in heaven, all created by God. These include the Twelve High Thrones, individual, created beings who take on the role of guiding mankind in different aspects, drawing them closer and closer to God. (That should be the essentials. I could write pages on the theology. Comment where something's unclear in the story.) Natural World: There are plants and animals in Eoroth, but the world is also inhabited by spirits called aeons. Aeons are transformative beings; in the wild, they'll change based on whatever is happening nearby. Pollute a pond? Expect to see toxic toad-men running around. Leave a bunch of dead bodies strewn across a battlefield? Expect the place to become haunted with ghouls and ghasts. Druids are important for making sure that the aeons are pacified; that their needs are met so that they don't become rampaging monsters. Where the wilderness becomes overgrown, so too do the aeons. Aeons and People: Long ago, men learned how to trap aeons in stone tablets and use them for war. Now, anyone can capture an aeon into a special staff made by a druid. Men train, raise, and bond with these aeons. Druids often build entire ranches devoted to raising healthy aeons as allies and companions. Aeons are divided into twelve known families, and the church sees these as corresponding with the Twelve Thrones in Heaven. Direction: My goal is to get the story to one million words by June next year. I have tons of content in mind for the world. I want to release novels set in different ages of the world depicting different historical events. I hope to expand the setting into a tabletop role-playing game as well as a series of old-school JRPGs. But, it all begins with writing some stories and publishing my novels.

8 835New Escape
In a world not that unlike the present exists a fantastic technology to transfer one's consciousness into a game. A new frontier for video games has been opened, and my first experience in this world is an rpg. An escape from monotony and school has led me to experience a brand new world.(I originally lost my motivation for this story and kinda wanted to kill it, but I brought it into this world so I will fix it. I'll probably re-write the first chapters and include a more compelling story. Didn't really write the story for people to read in the first place and after I put it on here I stopped caring, but I am changed!(not too much but just a little))
