《Post-Living》Chapter 27: Suggestions!

A splat can be heard from the ground.
Falling flat on a forest, the area that he fell at was uncovered by trees. Nyx's body was unrecognizable, due to it being heavily crushed by gravity. It was a really high place, so it's no wonder. Mira, on the other hand, was sweating buckets. She placed her fate in a fugitive with a somewhat predicting Guise and she followed everything that he said. She knows that if Nyx wasn't immortal, she would be royally fucked, metaphorically. There's an inch of confidence that has been left on Mira's whole experiment, and a ton of terror that followed that inch.
"WHAT THE FUCK HAVE I DOOOONNNEEEEEE!?!?!?"
Her eyes are white as snow, and Mira shouted in the air, and she was trembling enough to make her fall from her broom, but she didn't. She hurriedly made her way down to the ground, and see Nyx's body closely, if he is really dead.
"...."
No sound can be heard from Nyx. 25 seconds in, and he isn't moving an inch.
"Oh god, oh god, oh goooood, what the hell have I done...?!"
Panic and terror enveloped Mira, as she was walking back and forth.
Mira looked back for a bit, and the leaves rustled.
"It's not that weird, animals and the wind could've caused that."
Said Mira, who was still looking back, trying to come up with an excuse. This was the first time that the Queen asked anyone to accompany someone, and she picked her so she couldn't let her down. Except she just did, and in the worst way possible.
The leaves kept rustling and rustling, and it was unsettling. Unsetlling enough that even the split-persona girl became creeped out. The noise was behind her, and she looked behind, to where Nyx's body is.

What finally made Mira truly be creeped out wasn't by the rustling leaves, it was by the sudden disappearance of Nyx's body.
"Wh-wh-what the fuck?!?"
Mira screamed, and the leaves on the bush rustled and rustled. She thought some animal got to Nyx, and dragged him on the bush, so to end that animal in the worst way possible, she casted magic. Specifically, she casted an Earth-made pillar that can apparently bend, and using that, it crashed down the bush hard. She repeated the crushing for about 5-7 times until she finally came to her senses and look what's in the bush.
What she saw isn't an animal, it was Nyx's body, repeatedly crushed by her.
"...Fuck... how could I face the queen now.."
"HEEY! HAHAHAHA!"
"AAAAAIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!--"
Screaming, Mira tripped and landed on her bottom.
"Hey, it's me. Hahaha-"
Nyx came out of the bush, like a jack in a box.
Mira was looking at Nyx, and was as white as snow.
"How the... Wait... you! YOU'RE THE SAME AS HER?!"
Apparently, the Chief wasn't lying. And apparently, her gamble ended with a win.
I didn't expect that she would actually do that. I mean, it was kinda obvious with the knife pierced in my eye, acting like it would help reduce the blood and all. Not to mention, I did peek on them, right? So I overheard a little of their conversation...
The Undying Queen? Did Gaia send another one after us? And I doubt it would be Miz. She's sweet, shy, and caring, you know? I doubt she'd be the leader of some bandits, right?. (Only heard the part about Mira talking about who she was until he fucked it up.)
She was also part of her army, huh.. That's.. disheartening. I thought someone actually came with me because I was am an amazing individual at first glance, although.. that turned out to be a lie. Ahh, damn it.

"You.. YOU'RE ALIVE!"
She shortly said that after she classified me as the same as her queen. That queen is kind though, giving me a really strong witch to protect me. It's not like I couldn't take care of myself, but hey, this also works too.
"Hell, yes, I'm alive. You could've just asked, you know.."
I could've been dead if I didn't have immortality. Even if someone crushed my head, burn me alive, or do anything at all, I couldn't die. That's because if I have still have cells floating around, it automatically regenerates faster than the speed of light, creating a brand new body. What's weird is that even if I burn myself, I haven't died. Well, if I did, then it could spare me the hell I'm facing right now.
"Oh God, thank the heavens..!"
She seemed rather happy about what she did. On the other hand, I certainly wouldn't if I pushed someone off from at a skyscraper-like level of high above the ground.
"So.. you're immortal, then?"
*sigh*
"Of course I am, name one person who could survive an approximate 400 meter drop?!"
I said, angrily, of course.
...And that skeleton Chief probably knows who I am, too. By the looks of it, he can look into people's pasts.
Aggghhhhh, I just wish that guy doesn't become our enemy one day.
"I-I'm really sorry! Please!"
If I wasn't immortal, no amount of begging will save you, little girl.
"Fine, fine, alright."
"Just.. please don't tell the Queen about this!"
Her eyes were turned to red, and she wasn't angry, she was afraid of what might happen to her if she breaks the Queen's trust. Well, that's what I read from her, anyway.
"Fine, fine, alright."
I responded, again. Now that I realize it.. Acting like a goody-two-shoes wouldn't get to her, so maybe I can "suggest"....
She can flip out at any moment, but I won't push her that far. I'm simply just using her power and her flying skills.
Ahhh, she just dug her own grave, in a way.

He slowly backs up until his back is against the wall like my own, "You're..my neighbor?" He points to my door and I nod my head quickly. He hums softly, "You been here a while?" He asks and I nod my head once again. He chuckles, "Ya head hurt?" I nod again but stop as he laughs softly, "I-I mean.. no.. it doesn't." My cheeks burn red as I look at my shoes, "I-It doesn't hurt.." I repeat like a dummy and listen to him clear his throat, "So do you actually live there or was it bull?" He nods to my door and I play with my fingers, "Yeah.. I do.." I feel his eyes watch me and I quickly stop. "You live with your boyfriend or do you like sweatshirts that reach your knees?" He teased, making a giggle slip past my lips. I look away to the floor again, "I-I like big shirts... a lot." I mumble softly and he nods his head, "Hol' up." He puts his box down before walking over to one of the grey bins. I nosily watch as he pulls out a big grey sweatshirt, "Here." He holds it out for me to take and I stare at him with wide eyes, "F-For me?" I hesitantly grab the soft fabric as he chuckles, "Nah for ya mom." I puff my cheeks a little and give him a small glare, "Hush." He leans back against the wall and shakes his head, "It's cold out. You should put it on." ____________________________She was a shy girl from the city with no spine and a list of problems so long that it could touch the floor and roll off her shoes. The Wild Touch
The world of Delmathar has many conflicts and plots that span over the whole world and even into the war torn oceans. That’s not even taking into account that the world is a candidate in the Realm wars… but that’s a story for another day. Instead we will follow the story of how a goddess’s botched attempt of using a weak earth soul to make powerful Grafter for her mother, ends up empowering an unsuspecting little boy. The boy who is called Nosal Brownwhisker, who happens to be a peaceful little buttonless-shirt loving little Capyban. And as the Brownwhisker family tries to juggle their everyday lives on their monster ranch and hiding little Nosal’s secret, more and more developments keep popping up in the village of Pancreedy that makes life more.. interesting. Author’s notes:This is my first fiction and I understand it will suck. Hopefully you will find it to be enjoyable enough to hang around. There’s not going to be any epic world-ending fights or any stuff like that, just some shenanigans generally with the story progressing very slowly as it changes from many viewpoints. The world of Delmathar may seem funky for now so I will promise a glossary every 15 chapters. The wild touch will be updated at least twice a week, with me having no backlog of chapters. So if I get mobbed at work or get sick I will let you know in my notes on a short chapter. I hope you enjoy, and thank you for the people who support me, give me encouragement and pointers.

Dear Spellbook (Rewrite)
Live. Study. Repeat. Tal never saw himself as an adventurer, but the call to adventure never much cared for his opinion. Despite his best efforts, his search for answers on the murder of his parents ever draws him into danger. Accompanied by a group of seasoned warriors, thus far Tal has gotten by on his own meager magical talents, but when one day he wakes up to find himself back in his bed of the night before, he is faced with a challenge he must conquer alone. What to expect: This story was born of an attempt to create in world lore reasons for many of the mechanics and tropes of D&D, but you do not need to know of them to enjoy the story. It's a single POV time loop story with slow paced progression fantasy elements. The story is not one of fast-paced power ups and non-stop action, but as it progresses, the action picks up. There is a lot of magic system exploration on a system built to unify the diverse magic of D&D into one cohesive magic system. The setting is an original world with familiar races and monsters but with new unique origins and motivations. Book 1 is complete. Book 2 is complete and coming out M-W-F.
