The whole arena was eerily silent. For a couple of seconds, Link still didn't show any sign of movements. Brenda even got a bit bored watching this. Truthfully she didn't think this guy couldn't tank merely three light attacks of her.
But because of slaughtering aura affecting Link mind lowering his defense and her insane speed, her 'light attacks' did far more damage than she thought.
"I-is it ov-Ah! Look Senior Brother Link getting up!!"
As one disciple shouted, everyone saw Link shakily get up. His body and mind felt tremendous pain he never thought was possible. Brenda's single sword slash messed him up far more than he expected as slaughtering Qi still rampaged inside him.
Adding to the present pain was his head getting slam and his chest getting broken by Brenda kick; it was astonishing he could even stand. Well almost astonishing until
'Bang!'
Like a ghost, Brenda appeared where Luke was standing while socking him over to Great Elder Lin. In her mind, if she were to fight, then her opponent better be prepared for her speed!
Originally she wanted to see what Link can do but decided that he has nothing exciting to offer and just ended the fight there.
"So where's my points??"
Brenda asked as Link rolled over to Great Elder Lin. Before he even stopped at his feet, Link was already unconscious. Great Elder Lin sucked in a cold breath realizing this girl is perhaps even more terrifying than Kuzumi or even Kazami star!
Though he can't say for sure, he predicts she'll become uncatchable even at early Great Emperor Sea rank!
Great Elder Lin signaled for a medical Elder to take Link away as he spoke to Brenda saying,
"That was an excellent fight, young Brenda; the arena will award you your points now."
"Arena?"
Towards Brenda confusion suddenly from four corners of the stage, an orange, purple mix beams of lights sprouted out. The beams in a flash shot into Brenda's pocket, which held her badge.
With a small smile, she got off stage, landing with Kazami and the others while everyone else was still in awe. In only a manner of seconds, the position of the younger generation changed.
Time and time again so easily did Guardian Chui disciples crushed the most talented youths here without even breaking a sweat. And the biggest question on everyone's minds was, what would happen when they all reach Heaven King Sea realm?
Could they possibly even fight against the Great elders and Guardians of the sect?!
Under such a frightening thought, Lun Yuo had suddenly elegantly floated on stage. Her peaceful, charming appearance instantly enrapture eyes as she said in a soothing voice,
"Is there anyone else here that would like to challenge. Be warned though I'm just as tough as Brenda~."
'Whir!'
As she spoke, Lun Yuo unleashed God's bloodline state on full blast. Leviathans tentacles sprouted from her back, but it all swayed in a hypnotic pattern. The aura that she exuded created a massive suffocating pressure for every disciple here.
It was more than obvious whoever were to fight anyone from the Kazami team is explicitly a fool! Although compared to how the other three exuded their powers, Lun Yuo's was a lot more gentle and less scary. They felt as if it was a bright green fairy that was naturally exuding her overwhelming presence upon the mortal world.

Not even Malon, who was considering fighting against one of them dared to go up to Lun Yuo as he was too enchanted by her aura.
"Well, well! It seems like Guardian Chui disciples are taking our sect by storm!" The booming, powerful voice of a man ranged inside everyone's mind. Looking up, they all witness Sect Master Borson floating down to them!
"Ah! Disciples pay respect to Sect Master!!" All youths except for eight specific ones bowed down instantly with respect. Although the ones that didn't pay respect didn't bother Sect Master Borson in the slightest as he smiling said when he landed,
"Indeed, from the younger generation, there's no one in the sect, or even in the whole city that can be your match. That's why I would like to offer you and the other seven young talents great items that'll help with your growth."
Stunningly all disciples and even Great Elder Lin jumped up from Sect Master Borson. All of them are so great they're also receiving help from Sect Master personally?!
This had to go down as the most shocking event in the sect history as no one could ever recall a youth ever getting personal help from a Sect Master!
Although Lun Yuo was only a bit curious about this guy's attitude, he seemed to not like any of them at first but then let them run free on other Guardians' disciples. And now his face was full of smiles when greeting them?
While she thought, the other seven already floated on stage as Kazami said,
"I see no reason to refuse Sect Master."
He guessed this was all Ancestor Ardis doing. When they first met, the change in behavior went in line when he first started sensing her and assume Sect Master Borson was obeying her words. And now because of his full display of power, she probably forces Sect Master Borson to treat them right.
He wasn't anxious for any hidden agenda from this guy as his senses also picked up Guardian Chui watching them from afar.
"Excellent, we shall be off then!" Sect Master Borson announced as he had to admit these disciples tower above all others here. Despite his dislike for Guardian Chui, his eyes could see talents when they come in.
With a wave of his hands, all eight youths got picked up by his powers and blasted into the sky with Guardian Chui following close behind.
All that was left behind was the bewildered stares of everyone.
"Honestly, if it's them, then our sect can finally come first in the Grand Yin tournament!"
"With them, our sect can truly claim the spot of number one on this continent!!"
"Not even the first rank region would dare to trouble us with them!!"
Numerous chatters like this broke out like a dam as a new history and era was in the making. However, one hidden, powerful man held a blank expression as he stared off to where Sect Master Borson took the youths.
….
Approaching a relatively small building if compared to others in the sect was the Kazami team and Sect Master Borson. Everyone else beside Kazami and Lun Yuo was merrily chatting away. Brenda was making Dela squirm, and now Kuzumi was having fun with making Mara go crazy.

Luo Ke and Su Mo only thanked the heavens; those girls' attention wasn't on them.
"So, how are you feeling?" Kazami asked a general question to Lun Yuo, who quickly picked up on what he wanted to talk about.
"I feel alright; things have been progressing smoothly and shouldn't be too bad." They spoke in relatively quiet voices, but they weren't foolish enough to think some at Sect Master Borson level wouldn't hear them.
"I was feeling the same way. Especially with Ancestor Ardis's approval us we should have a swimming time here." The slight shake of Sect Master Borson's body proved all Kazami needed to know about the situation.
Lun Yuo also caught this, and with a sweet smile she said,
"Ah, everything really is falling in place, isn't it?"
And suddenly, the calming atmosphere was about to get ruin with a flash of white Kazami instinctively knew was coming.
"What are you two whispering about?!"
"AH!!"
Brenda yelled into Lun Yuo ears as she jumped with fright! Since they weren't in their God bloodlines state and Lun Yuo was distracted by talking to Kazami, it was the perfect setup with Brenda insane speed to startle her.
Kazami predicted something like this would happen, but it still didn't help an amused smile from growing on his face.
"Hahahah!! You see that, Redhead! That's how you make this girl so fluster!" Brenda wildly laughs with Dela behind her, having the look of not wanting to be here. Dela's eyes clearly saw the terrifying smiling expression of Lun Yuo.
"Dear Bree~, perhaps you want some of my personal punishment~?"
"You see that little M? That's the antics of a crazed woman. If it was me, I would've given Yu a good ol surprising slap to the back to startle her." Kuzumi remarked in amusement as she was watching the glaring contest between Brenda and Lun Yuo. One showed a broad toothy feral smile while the other had an ominous creepy smile.
"Um...I don't think Senior Sister Yuo would appreciate that either. And can you please stop calling me little M!" Kuzumi smile grew into a fearless one as she said,
"Why? From your little fantasies of brother, I would've sworn you're a little maso-"
"Ah, young ones, we have arrived!"
Sect Master Borson interrupted all of their antics as he genuinely couldn't understand four specific ones. Kazami gave him a faint pressuring feeling; he didn't want to know how Brenda thinks it would be damaging to talk to Kuzumi and Lun Yuo, reminded of a sweet deadly angel.
All the worse, he still felt Guardian Chui heavily lock on to him even when he couldn't do anything to them!
But no one notice Sect Master Borson turmoil as all eight youths' eyes gazed upon the small building up close now that they landed. The building was all purple in design with a single substantial artistic purple star at the front of the building.
"Come on in."
Sect Master Borson invited as he opened the door for them. Walking inside, they all saw several shelves stacked with limited jade scrolls, weapons, armor, and talisman materials.
But despite the small quantity of it, all of them could sense everything here was of high quality! It even matches and somewhat surpasses the items Guardian Chui has in her courtyard.
"Yoh? Is this like your sect secret treasury or something?" Brenda asked as her eyes were mainly attracted to the talisman materials.
"Partly. This is a room we have store only for talents who, for sure, have the potential to lead our sect to the summit of the continent. From our Divine Ancestor words, he claimed only ones who will surely make it to the God realms, surmount at least one level in cultivation, and has the approval of the second Ancestor can come here. For countless years no one was able to match these requirements until you four came along." Sect Master Borson explained, and Lun Yuo had a question.
"Second Ancestor? Is the current Ancestor the second one?"
"Correct. Besides our Divine Ancestor, there is only two Ancestor here. And both have the loyalty, wisdom, and experience to tell which genius youth is worth it or not to come here."
Another Ancestor? Must've been why it took a day to come here then. Kazami thought and assume the first one have special elixirs or pills to stay alive for so long, and Ancestor Ardis is the younger one here.
"As for what you can choose here, you're all free to pick out one Heavenly Rank cultivation skill, a Gold-rank weapon or armor, and since you practice talisman creation young Brenda, you pick up any materials you need."
Contrary to what Sect Master Borson thought they all look calm and complacent as Kazami nodded saying,
"Sounds good. Alright, we all should choose what really suits us. Because in a week, we'll see what impossible mission this sect has to offer and take it on!"
"Hoh, so we're finally going to move our bodies once again? About time too, I've been feeling really cramped just being cooped up here all the time." Kuzumi was pumped at the thought of finally traversing on the road again.
Being in a sect truly did limit her too much, and she wanted to let her hair down.
"Only a week! I'm not sure we'll be able to breakthrough to Heaven King Sea much less master something like a Heavenly Rank skill!" Luo Ke exclaimed since a week for them goes by in a flash.
"Relax Ke, with Senior Brother and Sisters, don't you think they'll have a regime for us to learn in a week?" As soon as Dela did say this, she suddenly felt cold sweat dribble down her back. It was like a demon was marking their prey, but she dared didn't turn to look at the other four.
"An impossible mission you want? I think I may have something that'll perfectly suit your tastes." Sect Master Borson announced catching their interest once again.

First time writing any sort of story. Everything is still a work in progress. As I improve on my writing I will go back and edit parts. Early chapters are subject to change as I grow my ability. I am going to try my best to write this world and improve as I go. My goal is to make my dream come to life through the medium of text. This is why I wanted to post it here. Feel free to comment, and bring constructive criticism. Hope you enjoy! More info (Spoiler warning): only read if you are picky, read a lot, and want to waste no time with a story you may not want read. This book is a litrpg. This means it contains stat tables, and other game elements. (Which you may gloss over if you would like) It is written in a fantasy world, in the style of a progression fantasy. The main character grows in power as the story plays out. My characters are written to my best ability, but you may find them immature. The MC has to adjust to fighting, and killing which he struggles with for a while. His partner is a magical salamander who is a friend and mentor. The world building, monsters, and descriptions are also low tier. (I am working hard to change that!) If you are okay reading something by someone who is just getting started then welcome! I am doing my best, and incrementally improving as I go.

A guidebook designed for alchemists of every tier to help refine their craft and provide direction. Formed of countless recipes and techniques, developed over the ages by the collective knowledge of our study, this is a definite supplement material for any aspiring alchemist. This discusses not only the recipe itself, giving you instructions for each one, but directs you to things not to do in the recipe. It isn’t uncommon for starting alchemists to unknowingly make a small change, and before they know it… BOOM! For a relatively minor price you too purchase this guidebook and start working towards building up a proper base of knowledge in alchemy. Even those with considerable ability may learn a thing or two from this! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is purely a guidebook for alchemy in a magical world, and as such contains no story elements. The cultivation (and alchemical) tiers are not at all necessary to understand the book, but exist because in the context of the book it would be important. I'm more than happy to write up any alchemical ideas you've ever had, totally not using this as an excuse to reduce my creative thinking hours... Just PM the idea or post it as a comment in any chapter, with a bit of balancing there's pretty much no idea that can't be done! Hiatus while I focus on shorter stories for competitions

The Saga of Armageddon: The Call of Crows
Bjorn Stormtamer's world has been turned upside down in more ways than one. His shipmates have left him for dead on an island for quarantining victims of a disease that he now has. His partner in battle despises him, his family thinks he's dead and everyone else thinks it was good riddance. Moreover, the world is under attack by a virulent plague that kills with light and an empire from the east whose intentions are unknown but whose methods are merciless and bloodthirsty. Little does he know that the world itself is nearly on the brink of cosmic collapse. But when a bold, charismatic woman from another nation seeks him out, Bjorn discovers that the plague he has was not a plague at all, but a trial. A trial to determine who is worthy to wield the power of gods in order to give humanity a fighting chance against the winds of fate. This novel was written 2 years ago and isn't exactly my best work. I'm still improving my skills, but I encourage you to enjoy it for what it's worth. ALSO, the whole plague thing was written about before the COVID pandemic. The plague is fake and actually magic in the story, but that has NOTHING to do with real world events. I am under NO CIRCUMSTANCE trying to make ANY kind of statement with it. Please just enjoy the story and stay safe.
