《Shining Duos》Launder Mercenaries

"But first we just have to know giving how we can't precisely sense your aura, and despite those hoodies, we can guess you're all extremely young from what little of your faces we can see, are you all new geniuses of the Great Cloud sect in our Kelp City?" When saying that sect name, the plump woman had a certain amount of reverence in her eyes.
Now thanks to the plump woman, the trio gained more info on the place they were in.
Casually shaking his head, Kazami answered;
"No, we're just some rogue travelers who manage to got lucky and found some special items."
Kazami words made the uniform trio stand up and become laxer while the plump woman then decided to inform them;
"Ah lucky rogue cultivators I see and young ones at that too. For you, our offer is much more appealing then. We hail from Launder Mercenaries, and we're a powerful team full of rouge cultivators. And you all seem to have great talent and luck in finding something that hides one's realm, so our offer is; you give us the corpse, and we'll let you join our Mercenaries, and the three of us will even look after you kids."
In the Launder Mercenaries' thoughts, they concluded they discovered big with these three kids. They were at first only on a regular route to bring in more monster corpses or any other valuables items, but the muscle man notices the trio when they were close to the city at first and their odd cloaks.
They could tell it was a magical item as they couldn't sense the trio cultivation realm, and there was plenty of books that discuss individual pieces that could hide one level.
From this oddity, they thought maybe they were from the most influential sect here the Great Cloud sect and try their luck with swindling three naive kids.

But now hearing there only lucky rogue cultivators gave them even more courage in gaining something valuable. Not being able to witness the beast's death, they assume these youths have an extraordinary talisman.
However, all they got was;
"Sorry we refused, we quite like our group already." Lun Yuo replied to their question with a smirk, not hesitating to reject them at all.
The three mercenaries stalled for a second before muscle man spoke up;"Hmph worried that you might get deceive. Don't worry; we're not common fodder in the Launder Mercenaries; we truly have some say and power." As he said this, the three chose to flex their auras a bit and unleashed their Origin aura intentionally planting pressure on the trio.
The kind-looking man and muscle man were at the 6th level of Origin Formation, and the plump woman was the most potent being at the 7th level!
Noticing their tricks, they were trying to pull Kuzumi only carelessly taunted them saying;
"Oh wow, hey brother, isn't this the generic enemy type of people that get killed of immediately. It is like those books Auntie Lia sometimes read."
"Honestly, these guys fit the description to a T. It's kind of stunning thinking about it." Kazami also commented on as if just found a fantastic secret.
"I don't know what you weird kids are talking about, but look today a good day, so we won't force you to join, but you have only one option now, give us the corpse and we'll handsomely reward you."
Getting a bit annoyed with the unconcerned attitude the three were taking and how they seemed unmoved by their auras, the kind-looking man spoke up this time.
"Hey, when the part you're gonna threaten to kill us, or you'll take our stuff?" Kazami proceeded to agitate them even more with his words.The mercenaries looked angry for a moment but soon turned into a smile with the plump woman saying;

"Alright, we'll stop with the games, so hurry it up!"
Finally, deciding they played around enough, the trio unleashed their Spirit Formation 7th level aura to the three mercenaries.
Sensing the youths auras, the mercenaries dawned on an insulting smile and started to chuckle.
"Heh, what this, are you trying to scare us with your pathetic Spirit Formation aura? At least this does confirm you must have some very high-grade items to kill that monster." The plump woman scorned them even more and started to stroll to the trio, followed by the other two, only shaking their heads at the trio supposed foolishness.
"Well now seems like they don't believe we legitimately killed that monster. Shall we dance, Kuzumi, Yu?" Still standing in their spot without any alarm, Kazami asked, and all the other two did was nodded their heads with nasty smiles.
"Kid, I don't know what you're planning, but items won't help with g-" Was all the plump woman said before a flash of red lighting appeared right in front of her.
"Don't blink now," Kazami said and struck out with his hand only in his red lightning aura.
'BANG!'
Three significant impacts sounded out as the trio sucker punch the mercenaries sending them flying.
"Fucking little shits! What?!" None of them could even catch their breath as the trio shadow cover them. Above, they watched the trio move in sync to land a vicious kick on them.
Though before it landed on the mercenaries, their bodies light up in a crystal blue aura that donned them instantly, and they formed an Origin Qi barrier. The crystal blue aura is pure genuine Origin Qi that the trio could visibly see this time.
While they were training, Cathal would only send it out an invisible blast of Origin Qi. The monsters they fought were alone in the first level of Origin Formation most of the time, and those monsters would use latent abilities instead of Origin Qi.
Even the bear they fought sent out invisible Origin Qi to shred the trio.
The mercenaries color is light blue also shows just how powerful their Origin Qi is as well.
Kazami, Kuzumi, and Lun Yuo cared little for it as their attacks landed upon them.
'BANG!'
Their kicks caused multiple cracks to form upon their barrier as the mercenaries' bodies violently tremble. It felt as if they were crashing against hard steel from the power of their kicks.
"Origin Qi eh? Let's see who's Qi is stronger than!" Kazami shouted, and on the trio hands, powerful Spirit Qi gather there as they struck the barrier once more.
'Ka-Cha!'
Like fragile grass, their defenses got torn through, and the trio fist heavily crashed against the mercenaries' chest, sending them bouncing while also spurting blood.
"How sad, I thought you would be more entertaining this..." Kuzumi sighed, shaking her head and sending looks of pity to the mercenaries.
Hearing her words and watching her face, the three got fueled with rage; it's inconceivable for them to think they couldn't beat little Spirit Formation juniors!
In a frantic rage, they gathered their full power and rushed the trio like a speeding bullet.
At the same time, the trio also unleashed their divine powers intending to crush these three utterly.
With even higher speed than before, the trio rushed the mercenaries, shocking them once again at their new insane burst of speed.

The Cosmic Interloper
Synopsis: A cyborg transhuman escapes her corporate indenture and through unfathomably unlikely circumstances, she ends up in a fantasy world of full of unique magic, angry people with sharp implements, and the whole flavor-spectrum of divine entities. Hilarity ensues. Features: - No blue boxes or cultivation, this is not a LitRPG nor about martial arts - Hard-ish Sci-Fi meets hard-ish magic - Generally trying to keep this "rational" Rationale: My primary goal with The Cosmic Interloper is to write something that I myself would enjoy reading. Of course, that’s not the only motivation, but I think it’s the most important one for me to keep in mind, especially as the author. In fact, this whole story came about because after consuming oodles of fiction, I found myself craving a very specific type of story which I couldn’t find many examples of. Then I asked myself, “why not write it myself?” and here we are. Disclaimer: In general, while I’m not writing a comedy, I do intend for this story to be funny and a bit wacky or absurd. That said though, I am using this story as a vehicle to explore some potentially dark topics including (but not limited to) slavery, speciesism/racism, and existential questions of self, consciousness, and identity. Still, I’m going to leave the “traumatizing content” tags off, because I don’t feel that what I’ve written so far (or plan on writing) exceeds the threshold that would be necessary for me to tag it thusly. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way she views the world is not the objective truth (if such a thing even exists).

Zeroth Knight re: Dawn
Isekai, fantasy, with the core themes of Identity and Fate. Story contains a, mostly, lesbian cast. Updated twice a day. Evangeline Sayagawa makes the ultimate choice at the cost of the ultimate sacrifice: She decides to leave her world that she fought so hard to return to, and return to Arsea in hopes of saving everyone. Little was she aware of just how bad things had gotten. The world she was returning to was cast into chaos and on the precipice of being destroyed. She awakens in this new kind of Arsea, after having witness the end of a dear friend. The world now belonged to the monstrosities of old, the Beta, and their corrupted human warriors, the Eld. With her fake identity, that which defined her in this world, being stripped from her, she now has to navigate a darkness in which not even the women she loves recognize her. This is book 2 of the Evangeline Sayagawa "Zeroth Knight" story, with book 1 being found here. The first "chapter" posted here is a hyper-condensed version of volume/book 1, in case anyone needs a generalized refresher of events, or for those who wish to start with this book instead as it is faster paced and more action-packed than the first one. Suffice to say, but most of the details from book 1 are lost by doing this; however, enough of the more-important information is present to allow one to understand the general idea of what is going on. This book features a mostly lesbian cast and deals more so with fate and crises of identity more than anything else. However, there is much more action in this one than any of my other stories thus far and brings about the end of Evangeline Sayagawa's story arch... sort of. I have another story up, a short story drama with light yuri and supernatural themes: "Escape The KNIGHT" Share the story if you think it's good. And please rate some stars and leave reviews guys. It will help encourage other people to take a chance with the story and get to know this wonderful journey with us.
