《Shining Duos》Merging Powers

The day had quickly passed, and early in the morning, Kazami was alone in his room, cultivating on merging pure Spirit Qi and his Elemental Qi.
Since yesterday, he started to become aware of the full potential he has stored and now wants to use every second to make the best of it.
'The process of fusion sure is different from the ease we got from pure Spirit Qi; I need more practice in my Lighting and Ice Qi.'
As he was cultivating, he suddenly heard a knock on his door and guessed who it was he quickly went to open it."Cultivating bright and early, too, eh? Yu and I just woke up a little bit go and just now decided to practice, but it looks like you want a head start." Kuzumi was leaning on the wall beside Kazami's room and was slightly tired, waking up so early.
"But, of course, we're sitting on a literal gold mine with our power."
Getting an idea, Kuzumi got off the wall and shouted;"Hey, Yu! Come out here I just thought of something we can try now!" Out of the room across from them came a dreary Lun Yuo who was still rubbing her eyes a bit trying to wake herself up.
"Haah... What is it? You know it isn't so easy to wake up so early like this and immediately start cultivating." Ignoring her mini protest, Kuzumi started to share her ideas;
"Look from yesterday we got told we need to become even more advanced and proficient in controlling our Elemental Qi right? So I know of a perfect way to jump on our training before the real start."
Getting more curious Kazami perked up and asked;"Oh? How so, besides the lighting element that you and I share, we all have drastically different Qi. I doubt we would be able to help each other."
"And that's where your wrong c'mon lets go to the training field I'll explain there." With a pep in her step, Kuzumi was already walking off. Kazami and Lun Yuo shrugging their shoulders followed her, getting curious about just what she had planned.
…
"So, what do you have in mind, Kuzumi?" Lun Yuo asked the three of them was sitting on the field that Kazami and Kuzumi usually cultivated on.
"Well, obviously, we do have different Qi that differs from each other, but I don't think we can't combine them." Kuzumi's idea only made to further confused the two.
Throughout history, unless one has a natural double type Qi, it's challenging for one to comprehend more than one type of Qi. Even if one is a high genius, their limit would be three types of Qi at most if they only had a single type Qi.

This is why the thought of trying to combine a completely unknown Qi type left them more than confused about how it can improve on their own Elemental Qi.
Seeing the confusion on their faces, Kuzumi still went on to explain;"Look, I don't mean a perfectly combine fusion no, I was more meaning to create a state where our Elemental Qi can flow naturally around each other and form into a single great power."
"Ah! I see where you're getting at you want our Elemental Qi to co-exist with each other and not clash if we were to put it against each other. And to do that, we need to exercise our control over our Qi." Lun Yuo was listening intently to Kuzumi and started to pick up on what she was throwing out.
"So liked that Duality cultivation method we study about, but this focuses more on the individuals than a true combination." What Kazami mention was a perfect duo cultivation manual that the two were studying for the future as they needed more cultivation to start it.
It certainly differs from the standard dual cultivation method as far the twins could decipher they would only need a robust and stable bond between each other to cultivate it.
"Right right, let us start right away; action gives more experience than words. Now I'm going to put my hand in the middle, and you two put yours undermines, we should try and create a multi Elemental Qi ball."
Wasting no time, Kuzumi put out her hands in the middle with Kazami and Lun Yuo putting her hands under.
Focusing Kazami and Kuzumi tactically figure only to use their lightning Qi as they are far more proficient in that type than their second while Lun Yuo concentrated on her grass Qi.
Their palms started to glow the color of their respective Qi, and through the connection and sensation from their palm, they felt two other foreign Qi trying to clash with their own.
While Kazami and Kuzumi do share lightning, their properties of the two electricity are entirely different as if the red lightning and blue lightning was the polar opposite of each other.
Focusing more and more, they were attempting to control their Qi to maintain a balance and crash in each other. Beads of sweats starting to drip down their faces as it was getting increasingly harder to try and keep a steady control to form a multi Elemental Qi ball. They sat still lost in cultivation and unknowingly hours passed without them even realizing it.

…
After an unknown amount of time, the trio clothes got soaked with sweat, and they were struggling to maintain their composure.
But with great practice comes great results now after deeply comprehending how to move their Elemental Qi, the unique energy that resonates inside their Qi and such; they advanced at a rapid pace to control their power.
On top of Kuzumi palm, a small ball was slowly forming, and this ball had the element of red lighting, blue lighting, and grass Qi in it!
The combination of power gave the ball three different shades of color of their respective Qi too.
Despite how small it is, their combined strength would be higher than something they individuality created.
At the same time, they all open up their eyes once the mini ball almost formed as they were quickly getting this would be their limit.
"You know what I'm quite surprised sis. For someone who rarely thinks deeply about cultivation, you manage to come up with this." Kazami let out a sigh but still kept his hand in place.
"Why, thank you for the backhanded praise, brother. Though why wouldn't I find new ways we can mess about with our powers? Now let's test our little creation power!" Kuzumi suggested and getting quite excited at that idea; the other two hurriedly nodded.
Standing up slowly and carefully while still keeping their palms together, tossed the mini ball a couple of feet away from them.
"And now we wa-"
'BOOOOOM!'
Lun Yuo wasn't even able to finish as right when the mini ball connected with the ground; it unleashed a tremendous foreign power they couldn't also react to, and the power flung the trio fast. They crashed hard right into the transparent barrier that was around them.
The impact made them couched up blood and almost knocked them unconscious as they were unprepared for that kind of power.
'Clap,Clap,Clap'
Hearing three claps, the trio sluggishly looked up and saw Cathal and Audrey with a new face walking up to them.
This new face was a friendly-looking man with a bright smile on his face. He stood at 5'11, had stunning golden hair that went down to his neck and a skinny but healthy body, giving off a scholarly vibe.
He was the one who first spoke up saying;"Well, well, Cathal seems like you weren't boasting; these three from their cultivation to that big attack are monster geniuses."
"Ah! Dad!" Lun Yuo called out as she struggled to get up and greet her father, although she didn't need to as her dad went over to hug her and helped her on her feet.
"See Lazul; I told you these guys are monsters not only comprehending Spirit Qi instantly but also managing even to control their Qi so much and create that merge attack." Cathal was helping Kuzumi on her feet while still talking to Lazul, and Audrey was helping Kazami.
"Not only that, but her divine power had also awakened too; you truly are growing up fast, my little princess, and before you ask, I see all I needed to see for you to go with Kazami and Kuzumi on those missions." Lazul statement surprised Lun Yuo and made her hug her father tighter.
"You really mean it, dad?! Oh, thank you. I'll make you proud!."
"Yea, yea I already knew once you have your mind made up on something it would be hard to convince you otherwise besides I watch the three of you grew up together since your childhoods there no else I can trust my little girl too besides those two special twins." Getting up, they broke from the hug, and the three youths went back over to each other and nodded at each other. Kazami determinedly told Lazul;
"Leave any worries behind, Mr. Lazul, the three of us are a perfect team that'll be able to dominate any humane realm missions after three months!"
"Oh right, we were coming to speak you about that and Lazul's approval, and since we already have gotten it, I think we should add that little session of yours to the training regime." Audrey picked up, and after giving it some thought, she concluded that their merging practicing would be perfect for them.
"Also, we're going to extend your training to six months instead; I know Lazul is going to help, and there is something I want to try too." The added time of six months made the trio even more determined to advance rapidly, for they can have a higher chance of survival and power.
"I'm taking a wild guess here, but I'm going to assume the training starts now, right?" Kuzumi asked the three adults.
And with a dangerous smile Cathal answered;
"Oh, you sure are right..."
