"There you go. All done."
"System G-2879678, Welcome to the world, although you won't actually see the world, yet."
"Eh? Wha-What's this??"
"Mankind continues to evolve and develop. Although it went to another direction i didn't expect it to take."
"Due to this, the magic of the world increased tremendously throughout the centuries and millenniums."
"Who are you? Why can't I see your face? Magic? What do you mean?!"
"With such an increase, this world would be destroyed before those black beings come."
"Haaa, anyways, System G-2879678. Your task would be to guide whoever takes you. Make them stronger and powerful, so that when those beings comes to seek destruction. This world would have its defenders."
"Destruction? Defenders? What?!"
"Your power source shall be the magic of this world. Everything that your user would need shall be generated by magic. This is done so that the scale would not have imbalance and the magic the world has would no longer increase."
"Well then, that's all i have to say. Go back to you sleep. When you wake up, don't forget your purpose."
"Wait! Where are you going?! I have questions!! You didn't answer them!! Hey!!"
"Come back!! Hey!!!"
******
"Hey!!!"
Lilia immediately rose up, sweat dripping down her face.
"Wha-, A dream?"
Lilia then looked around, from the dividers, beds, and equipment that she can see here. It appears that she was in the University's clinic.
The door to the Clinic then suddenly opened, there, a man and a woman wearing long white coats entered. They were also followed by two others, man and woman, wearing civilian clothes.
"Do-doctor, you can't just say that you don't know the reason for her high fever."
"I'm sorry mam, like i said, this is a first of its kind. Although we do have cases that reaches more than 42.2 degrees, which is already dangerous, a case of having 50 degrees is unheard of."

As these people were talking, Lilia suddenly cut in.
"Auntie?"
As she said this, the people within the clinic suddenly stopped talking and then looked at her, in disbelief.
"Li-Lilia?"
As her auntie said this, she ran to Lilia and hugged her, crying.
"Lilia, oh my little girl. Are you fine? D-do you feel uncomfortable?"
Giving her auntie a wry smile, she then gave comforting pats to her auntie.
"See, i told you she would be fine. She is a tough girl." said Lilia's uncle.
"Tch, i ain't giving you you're dinner today." scoffed Lilia's auntie.
"Wh-what? H-Hey, don't be like that."
Seeing the exchange between her uncle and aunt, Lilia couldn't help but chuckle at such a scene.
"Excuse me but, can we check her temperature?" said the doctor.
Lilia's auntie looked at the doctor hesitantly but Lilia just patted her shoulder and nodded.
With a tinge of hesitation, her auntie left the clinic along with her uncle, saying.
"We'll be just outside okay."
Lilia nodded and then her uncle and auntie left the clinic.
"By the way doctor, how long have I been asleep?"
" You've been asleep for 3 days."
"3 days!!!"
.....
*Night time*
"Honey, take a rest. Even though you have recovered, that body of yours would still need rest."
"I will auntie, good night."
"Good night."
Then Lilia closed the door. After this she sat on her bed, with an expression of deep contemplation.
"Hey..."
"....."
"Your there aren't you."
"......"
"Stop being silent and start talking."
"Yes host what do you want?"
"I want answers."
Lilia looked at her room's ceiling. Then laid down on her bed.
"Host, the answers are you looking for. You already saw it."
"Saw? You mean that dream."
"Yes host, that was the answer I can give you to your questions."

"Also, that was no dream, but those are my memories."
In a questioning tone, Lilia asked,
"Memories?"
"It's the same thing to memory cards on smartphones."
"I see, then what did he mean by magic. Is he referring to those like that of MMO's?"
"Magic, not in your sense of games, but Magic, in the sense of realism. Real magic is different to the magic that you always see in your games."
"In the history of the world there were many Magicians that existed, but suddenly, they began to die of, one by one."
"The person that you saw in my memory, was my creator, and the last remaining Grand magician of the world."
Hearing everything what the voice in her head said, Lilia then gave a sigh.
"And you tell me to believe that?"
"Is not what's happening to you host, enough evidence yet?"
Lilia then closed her eyes.
"Tell me, are you that System G- something?"
"Yes I am host."
Lilia then sat back up, went into her rooms window, then gazed at the silent neighborhood she was in.
"That memory of yours maybe short, but I have many questions. As that person called you System, then I'll call you System as well."
"So, System, can you answer my questions."
"Host, your questions can be answered over time, what matters truly now is this."
A screen display of some sort then appeared in front of Lilia.
"Oh, host didn't get surprised."
"With such things happening to me, you think I'll get surprised again and again."
"....."
Lilia then checked the screen display infront of her. There, things like her name was written. There was also things like stats, titles, class, and the like written there.
"Hmm? What this?"
***
System note for host: Host has 38% fat on her body. Must look for host permission before using excess and useless components of the body before using it to upgrade host's stats.
***
"System, what do you mean by this."
"Host has useless components in her body, and by useless, as in they have no use. So, in order for these to be useless, I have created a way for you to be stronger when all the remaining useless fat on your body is used up."
Although confused by the system's explanation, an rough image appeared on Lilia's mind.
On the rough image, Lilia looked much more beautiful. She also looked very fit, also she was doing some sexy poses as well.
"Hmm........."
"Host?"
"Let's do it."
"Do what?"
"Use the fat, burn it."
"You'll have to take a bath soon after though."
"That's fine, just do it."
After she said this, a much more robotic voice than the system played in her mind.
*Permission received. Initializing*
Lilia suddenly felt hot all over. Her face was also flushed red. Sweat then began to drip all over her. She also gave some steamy breaths when she breaths out.
As the process went on, the more robotic voice also ticked.
*97....98....99....100,*
*Process complete, adding bonus points to all existing stats*

Again from Scratch Saga: Izmittor Unchained
If someone precious to you needed your help, would you extend it? Would you still do it if it costs you your peace and perhaps even your life? For Tercius, a man mysteriously reborn nearly thirteen years ago, there was only one answer to both questions. Feeling compelled, he sets out to journey to the northern Sogea and its infamous Western Izmittor mountain range, a natural stronghold of sky tearing mountains and deep canyons. Legends about the place abounded, but he knew without a doubt that the hidden valleys, rushing rivers, thick forests, and desolate landscapes hid powerful predators, the likes of which stalk the harsh terrains for an easy source of meat and bones. The many natural dangers of Western Izmittor would be hard enough to navigate safely for a lone traveler, but to make matters worse Tercius had enemies in the heights of Western Izmittor, humans and spirits who would see him dead if they ever learned of his true connection to the Pyramid of Tergaron and the Society of the Magi. To make things even more difficult, he also had to ensure that the true extent of his own Innate Skills remained hidden, for if the prying eyes of the world fell on him and his many secrets came to light, then he would never again know a day of peace. Can one reborn man manage to keep his secrets and still succeed in doing what his conscience compels him to? Will he have to choose one over the other? And can he do any of it without reigniting the sparks of a planetary war the likes of which had not been seen in millennia? Follow Tercius’ story and find out! *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** This story is a continuation of Again from Scratch, a story of mine also posted on RR. Reading it is NOT necessary to read this story, but for anyone who wants to get a little bit more background, here is a link: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/38803/again-from-scratch Again from Scratch was my first journey into writing and I have taken all I learned from that and started writing Again from Scratch Saga, a continuation that is almost stand alone. Changes in certain phrases and words between the two are edits made because of the rewrite plans I have for the old story. A world where he's stuck in a game like setting. Sign him up! Except that Lazarus found himself stuck in a cave with nothing but glowing crystals and the skittering of rats. And according to the glowing blue box he'd been affected by unforeseen circumstances and transported to the world of Zara. What the hell was that?! He didn't like caves at all! He didn't get any powers! Only this blue box fixed in front of him... Hello this book will be a lit-rpg in a fantasy world. It will be primarily action and adventure. I dislike characters who get tied down and suckered, so if your looking for kingdom building or large interpersonal relations this isn't it. There will be some but it won't be the focus. He will be somewhat of an antihero but more in the sense that Lazarus will be free. I'm not the most experienced writer, but I would love feedback to improve. Thank you for reading!
