《A king's reincarnation》[2]Chapter 37: I finally met you

"Azan-dono, from which country did you come from?" I asked the old man who is sitting in front of me.
"I'm sorry child, Although I'm thankful that you saved me earlier, sadly I can't tell you from which place I came from." the old man in front of me replied. He has brown hair and yellow eyes and is wearing a long purple robe with a strange logo behind.
He held out his palm and looked at it as if he was expecting something to come out of it. After a few seconds, he sighed with a look of disappointment on his face.
"It looks like I can't use it in this place huh..."
"Use?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Don't mind me, anyways, what's a child like you doing in a forest? do you have companions with you?" He asked me.
"I'm training in these mountains all by myself, how about you? from your situation earlier, you looked like person who was exiled from his own home."
"Exiled? you're right, right now, I'm pretty much temporarily exiled. But still, why would a child like you be training inside the mountains alone?"
"Because I want to." I replied to him.
"I see... well then, as a repayment for rescuing me a few days ago and sheltering my weakened self, how about I teach you some martial arts?" Azan offered as he slowly stood up from his seat.
"A martial art? what kind of martial art?"
"It's called Tenotora. From where I came from, only I and my students know it."
"Tenotora? I haven't heard of this kind of martial arts before, I hope you're not tricking me. I don't hold back no matter what the opponent's age is."
"Hohoho, quite the cautious one. Rest assured, this is not a fake, How about we have a light spar? that way, you'll know whether it is real or not." He said to me as he distanced himself and got into his battle stance.
I also did the same and started off with Kyokushin.
The battle between us started. I made the first move and leaped at him directly preparing to launch a kick aimed at the opponent's stomach filled with killing intent, my attacks connected with each other perfectly and they succesfully landed at Azan's body. His face immediately changed expressions from calm to surprised. After that we continued on exchanging blows for an hour without stop, to the point where the landscape around us got ruined.
"What a terrifying combination of strength, speed, and technique, kid, are you sure you're just a 15 year old?" He asked me with a look of bewilderment.
"This martial arts of yours also feels quite the dangerous one. Absorbing around 40% of the power of my attacks, storing it inside the body, and releasing it back after a while in quick successions. Now I'm interested, I look forward to learning from you, Azan-dono."

"It seems like I'll be also learning a lot from this, try to catch up with me, Lucas-dono."

[Greis, Langa continent, Nation of Ireal]
"It's been a while since you last participated in the meetings of the Black Grail, Dark lord Azan." said a tall woman sitting on a chair with blue hair who wears the same purple robe as Azan.
Azan walked to the round table and sat down at the seat which looks like it is reserved for the person with the Highest position.
"That's none of your concern, Mell"
"You're still as cold as ever, Lord Azan. As your subordinate, and also one of the members of the Black Grail, of course I'd be worried if my master suddenly got transported into some unknown place because of the first Demon king." said Mell as she pouted.
"Your worries are not needed, after all, I acquired something worth it from that place."
"Worth it?" asked one of the members of the Grail.
"Indeed, it's something called 'Kyokushin', when I arrived at that place, I got saved by a little child, at first, I thought he was just a normal child, but when we fought, I found out that he has vast amounts of knowledge in fighting, knowledge far more terrifying than mine. The moment I fought without the use of magic, that's when I found out that I'm still weak. In just a month, he achieved the same level of mastery as me in the art of Tenotora. Right now, I bet that kid has already become the King of that place."
"For the Dark lord to start underestimating himself... Now I'm curious as to what kind of person the Dark lord met."
"Why don't you recruit him? if he's that capable, then he'll become a great asset to us, even if he's a child, we can just nurture him." suggested Mell.
"That's not gonna happen." replied Azan.
"And why?"
"The place where that damned demon king sent me to... I think it's a different world."
"!!!"
When the people around Azan heard his words, they became surprised.
"A-Another world!?"
"That's right, and it's one without magic on top of that. It took me around 6 months just to gather enough life force to convert into mana and go back here, after which I spent two months recovering. That's why it's impossible for me and that child to meet again, besides even if we did meet each other again and he finds out about us... we will only kill each other. Our ideals are different, our goal is to eliminate this world's evil by becoming evil ourselves, no matter how many human lives are sacrificed, while that child... just like any other kid, his dream isn't to eradicate every evil, but to protect those around him. That dream might sound absurd, but it is possible for him. If he sees my true nature, despite our experience together, he would not even have a moment of hesitation, he will go straight for my head."

"To think that he will praise someone this highly, and a child on top of that..."
"At least he's on a different world, if what Azan-sama says about him is true, then he might become an obstacle for us."
"You're right Mell-san..."
...
"So this is where we're going to meet with that person known as Sage king huh.." muttered Kagami as he stared at the tower located at the far west of the capital.
2 weeks have passed since then, and now it's time to meet with the Sage king for the mana activation which is going to be held in the tower in front of us. Right now, aside from Kagami, Tanya, and I, there also the 40 students and around 200 normal people present. The order is that only 3 people are allowed to enter at a time, that's why we decided to let the 200 children go first in groups of 3, since Famah informed me that time flows differently between the room and Greis, people only takes around 20 seconds inside before coming out again with bright smiles on their faces.
Finally, after around 30 minutes, it's finally the turn of me and the other two.
"Kuuhhhhh, I'll finally be able to use magic, it's been my dream ever since I joined Yggdrasil. To think that seemingly impossible dream is finally coming true!" said Kagami as his body started fidgeting from joy.
"I wonder if this will affect our inner force." asked Tanya to herself.
"I don't think it will, after all, I once experienced it and it didn't seem to affect the flow of the inner force within me. Anyways, enough about that, let's go in."
The three of us entered the tower and entered the huge door with white light emanating from it.
...
"Welcome to my humble abode, Mr. Kagami. My name is Alfrei, also known as the Sage king." said the person in front of kagami with white hair.
"A TRAP" said Kagami with a face filled with shock.
"Hahaha, don't worry, this is real, this is not a trap, that, I assure you."
"No, I meant you... you are the trap." said Kagami with his eyes wide open without blinking.
"Alright then, enough of this trap thing of yours let's just get this over with." Alfrei waved his hand and a blue orb went inside Kagami who still has his eyes wide open.
"Haaahhhh, seems like you won't be moving anytime soon. [Relocation]" After chanting, Kagami disappeared from the room and immediately got replaced by Tanya.
"Welcome, Ms. Tanya, My name is Alfrei, the Sage king. Please step closer so that we can begin."
"Yes."
After a few seconds, a new energy surged within Tanya's body, Tanya who was confused at first managed to get a good feel of it and then fine tuned it to suit her body.
"Thank you, Mr. Alfrei"
"No problem, you can go back outside through that gate." replied Alfrei as he pointed at the gate which mysteriously appeared behind Tanya.
The moment Tanya disappeared, Alfrei waited for several seconds that eventually turned to minutes, but the third person didn't appear.
"So what Gabriel predicted really happened huh, well then, since my job is already finished, might as well head back." Alfrei muttered to himself as the room started to disappear along with himself.
"Things are getting interesting..."
...
"Why am I at this place?" I thought to myself as I looked around the familiar white space.
All of a sudden, the space above me turned into sky blue and white clouds appeared, the space below me where I stand at became water which reflected the blue skies above me clearer than a new mirror.
I looked around and spotted a huge cherry blossom tree and under it, is a table with two chairs. There is a person sitting on one chair with their back facing me.
"She's here..." I thought to myself as I tried to walk closer to her.
"You." The pink haired woman finally spoke. Once again, I heard her beautiful voice which puts me in a state of true calmness. I stopped on my tracks, 4 meters away from her and observed her from behind. The petals of the cherry blossom which are slowly falling gives the atmosphere and scenery a calm and ethereal feeling and beauty.
Finally the woman stood up from her seat and turned around to face me. The moment I saw her face, almost everything disappeared in my mind, the only thing I could think about is;
"So...Beautiful." My mind subconsciously said this as I stared at the most beautiful person I've ever met in front of me, Her pink hair and pure golden eyes, along with the pure white robes. A face that no celebrity could match and a body the will put super models to shame. It was as if I'm looking at...
While I was still diving in my own thoughts, the woman in front of me spoke which pulled me back into reality.
"Welcome, Lucas."
"Are you the person they call...Sage king?" I asked her.
"No, the sage king is a male, do I look like a man to you?" she asked me with a light smile on her face which just adds to her beauty.
"No, certainly not."
"Well then, allow me to introduce myself properly. My name is Irene, Irene Celestia. I am... the God of Creation."

Savage Hunters
Giant monsters roam the land Civilization is frozen in a savage age. For the beast slayer Alden, power and survival are one and the same. The ancient evil that once ravaged his village and murdered his ancestors has returned. At the same time, politics hurls Alden and his crew into gladiator pit battles for control of the throne. When Alden takes possession of a cursed sword promising untold power, the hunter is determined to save his people by slaying every giant monster standing between him and the throne. But the angry ghost trapped inside the blade has other ideas. Buckle up for the brutal LitRPG ride of a lifetime Savage Hunters is an alternate-world neolothic fantasy. Characters grow their powers with explicit stat blocks presented right in the text, including levels, attribute scores, and unlockable skill trees. Experience is accumulated by battling enormous monsters the size of buildings. Political intrigue and romance elements ramp up as the series progresses. I originally wrote this story after playing Monster Hunter with my niece. She was 12 at the time, already an avid reader, and wanted to read my other published books. I'm a licensed psychotherapist specializing in severe trauma so I tend toward darker fiction. I told her my usual books are too brutal for her but I'd write her something special. The result was this series, which has been praised by both teens and adults for its depth and universal appeal. It begins with an emphasis on cultural elements because I consulted with a trained anthropologist to craft this neolithic setting down to exacting social detail. After these opening chapters, it rapidly shifts to an action-packed adventure. The first 3 books are fully written as of November 2020, totalling approximately 69 chapters. The first book has been professionally edited already. The following two books require some editing which I'll do on a chapter-by-chapter basis as releases progress. I welcome reviews and comments. Writing is a passion, and reader engagement makes my labor all the sweeter.
