"And the last of the Generals, My name is Luwin Erance, Brother of Duke Wil Erance. Pleased to meet you in person, Your Highness, Lucas White Elune." The middle aged person sitting 5 seats away from me stood up and bowed to me.

"It's also a pleasure meeting you, General Luwin, I look forward to working with you and the others in the future, so please raise your head."

Now that the commanders and generals have finished with their introductions, I guess it's time for the 6 Immortal blades to introduce themselves.

"Now then, as the captain of the Immortal blades, Allow me to introduce myself once again. My name is Vincent Re Elune, title, War king. Let's get along well today and for many more years to come, my little brother." Vin and I stood up from our seats at the same time and clinked our glass of wine.

"It feels weird to have someone suddenly call me as 'little brother' but... it's not a bad change. Thank you, let's get along well, Aniki." I replied to him, but something happened that is outside of my expectations.

"Oh? Captain Vincent, you really are something, look, you made your sibling cry, HAHAHAHA!" One of the commanders said while pointing at the both of us.

I didn't know, I never felt that tear flow down my face, I only felt a strange yet familiar emotion within me, one that I haven't felt for many years. So this is it, even if it's only a little, I know I'm starting to heal. So this is what it feels... to have someone you could call a family again.

"Oi, Vin, you bastard. Who told you that you can make my precious little brother cry, huh!?" Lily who was watching us reprimanded Vin.

The other people around us laughed at their usual banter.

"So it's finally our turn huh. Nice to meet you, Your HIghness, Lucas. My name is Zhang Relieh, Zhang is my family name, while Relieh is my given name. No.4 of Immortal Blades, title, Night Hawk." The person who just introduced himself was a man with black hair and eyes and with Asian like eyes. This person's family must have the blood of a chinese otherworlder.

"Judging from his breathing pattern, movements, blood circulation, and eye movement. This guy must be the member handling the scouting and assassination duties. An assassin." I thought to myself as I analyzed him.

"My turn, Greetings, Lucas-sama. My name is Enka Wess, No.6 of the Immortal Blades, title, Grand summoner. I look forward to working with you." The person who stood up this time is another man with a large amount of mana pool within him, as his title suggests, he must be someone that summons different creatures to fight for him. It's a pretty handy class, if I do say so myself.

"Then it's my turn. I've been wanting to meet you for a while now Your Highness. My name is Famah Erance, No.3 of the Immortal Blades, title, Grand Magus. And also, that drunk general over there who introduced himself last is my Father. I apologize on his behalf for the unsightliness that he's showing you." The woman who is sitting beside me stood up and started to introduce herself.

"Don't worry about it, this is a banquet after all. Nice meeting you Ms. Famah."

"Grand Magus huh... I guess that's to be expected, after all, out of the entire Immortal blades, she possess the largest amount of mana, and to top it off, from how it courses smoothly throughout her entire body, it seems like she has a good control over it."

"So It's finally my turn, you know what they say, save the best for last! Good day, Lucas-sama, Allow me to introduce myself, My name is Geni Alvi. No.5 of the Immortal Blades, title, Guardian. Please let me know if you need my protection, I'll be there in an instant!" this time, it is a short girl whose height is the same as Airi, however, she has a distinctive feature which makes her stand out easily. She has heterochromia, Her left iris is colored gray, while her right is dark orange.

"Your assurance puts me at ease, thank you." I replied to her with a smile.

Geni froze and stared at me for a moment as her face reddened and started to heat up.

"Ah, I did it again..." I thought to myself as I averted my gaze from the charmed Geni.

"Hahaha, Lucas is pretty strong, to be able to break through the famous Guardian, Geni's defense so easily. Oi Geni, we didn't know you were this frail, hahahaha!" Vincent started teasing his companion which was followed by laughters from everyone.

Our conversations went on for an hour and half, we talked about all kinds of things that we could talk about, and suddenly, Aneki made a suggestion.

"I have an idea, since this celebration is not going to end anytime soon, How about we invite the Heroes to celebrate with us? Father must be finished talking to them by now."

"That's a great idea! Geni, find the heroes and ask if they want to join us, after all, they are the reason why we're celebrating like this."

"Yes, General Luwin." Geni stood up from her seat and ran to the front of the huge castle.

"That reminds me, Luwin-san, Aniki, there are two former adventurers right here in the capital who just arrived earlier, these two once accompanied my travels for 8 months so I know them pretty well, May I also invite them here?" I walked out of the training grounds, and when I made sure that I'm out of sight already, dashed out of the walls quickly and quietly, jumping from roof to roof of the houses. After a few seconds, I finally arrived at the inn where Tanya and Kagami are residing. They must've felt my presence since when I saw them, they already opened the window of their room, allowing me to enter.

"Lucas-sama, is there anything you need?" asked the both of them.

"No, do you want to eat something? There's a celebration happening at the training grounds, my older sibling said that both of you can join in. By the way, from now on, both of you are adventurers who accompanied me for 8 months while I was traveling. If they ask you something, just go with something that goes along those lines."

"Yes!"

"Kuuhhh, I can now finally be a fantasy adventurer! so this is what it feels like-" said Kagami whose words got cut off again by Tanya.

"Yes yes, save your imaginations for later. Both of us are ready, Lucas-sama."

The audience with the king has just ended and the entire class finally felt relieve after escaping the throne room filled with tension.

"Hah, that was scary, good thing we survived through it."

"Yeah, so that person is Lucas-sama's father. I gotta say, even though they're not blood related, both of them exudes a real king's aura."

"I know right? the atmosphere was too tense"

"Surprisingly, the king is kind, I thought he is one of those uptight and strict kings from the novels."

"ummm... all of you must be the heroes that got rescued, am I right?"

The student's conversations were suddenly cut off by the voice of a girl. The 4 maids who are escorting the students stepped forward and greeted the new arrival.

"Good afternoon, Geni Alvia-sama, what business do you have with the Heroes?" asked one of the maids.

"The crown prince told me to ask if the Heroes want to celebrate with them." replied Geni.

"Is that so? Well then, Heroes, do all of you want to accept the invitation?" asked the maid.

The students began discussing things among themselves.

"Oi, what should we do? should we accept?"

"I don't know, if we refuse, the crown prince might see us as rude and we might get punished."

"Then should we accept?"

"For now, that's the best decision, besides, we have Lucas-sama protecting us, I'm sure nothing will happen to us."

"You're right!"

"Yes!"

"Indeed"

The students finally accepted the invitation and followed Geni to the training grounds.
