《Absolute Supremacy》Garage Sale?

In absolute Supremacy, the artifacts that allow players to comprehend the power of Space so they can integrate their understanding of Space in their attacks and movements are extremely rare. The artifacts that directly allow a person to control the power of Space, even to a small extent were even more rarer.
From the time immemorial, the powers every person has desired to possess are the power of Space, power of time and..... the power too woo every woman he sees.
Apparently, it seems that no one has ever come to own one,....until now. If he could acquire all three pieces, he will have the ability to teleport to places far away from him. It could also prove to be an exceptionally crucial life saving skill in moments of extreme danger. It could also help Cao Huang to imbue power space in his attacks, defense and movement skills.
Cao Huang very much wanted to find the rest to pieces of Thrain's Spatial Mirror but he was short on time. He had to reach the City region before anyone else could or he would lose many advantages of being the first person to step in a city and that, he could not afford.
Cao Huang left the alchemy room and headed towards the town's commercial area. He is was in his Drifting Leaf character so many players here recognized him. He was pretty infamous....I mean famous here. He once again set up his stall to sell the remaining Fear Negation Potions he had. Didn't know who spread the news but this time the crowd immediately surrounded Cao Huang in order to buy the Fear Negation Potion. He didn't expect that his Fear Negation Potions would gain so much popularity among the general public. Many players started shoving each other to be the first one to buy the fear negation potions as they were worried that Cao Huang only possessed a limited stock of these potions.
Cao Huang opened his contact panel and as promised, he first contacted Piercing Needle if he wanted to buy some Fear Negation Potions. After ten seconds, he received the answer that he and his team were on there way towards his stall. Cao Huang reserved seventy Fear Negation Potions for Piercing Needle and his team. The rest of the potions, he will sell to other players.
"How many bottles of Fear Negation Potions do you have?" asked the the surrounding players.
Cao Huang thought for a bit and said, "I have only one hundred and fifty bottles of Fear Negation Potion remaining."
Cao Huang didn't sell his remaining thirty potions as he wanted to keep them for his personal use.
"Only one hundred and fifty bottles?" The surrounding players were dismayed to hear that such a little amount of Potion bottles were available.
There were about three hundred players gathered here after hearing that such a miraculous potion existed. It means that only less than half of them had a chance to acquire the potion bottles.

"How much are you selling it for?" asked someone.
Cao Huang wanted to increase the price of the potion but after some pondering; decided against it. He didn't want to scam people just because of their needs. Also if needed; he could freely hunt in the Undead Forest and acquire more Death Grass to convert them into more Fear Negation Potions.
"Since there is such a little amount of Fear Negation Potion available. Then we can try to bid for them. This way the one who bids the highest will take away the potion." suggested another player.
"If everyone agrees, I don't have any problem with this method." Cao Huang was even more happy to have other players bid for his potions. It would greatly publicize his potion, not to mention, it will also greatly increase his profits.
"Let's start the bid for the potions." Everyone except those with light pockets, immediately agreed.
"The starting price of the Fear Negation Potion is ten bronze coins per bottle and each increase in bid would not be any less than two bronze coins." Cao Huang announced.
"Ten bronze coins." shouted a Berserker.
"Thirteen Bronze coins."
"Fifteen bronze coins."
"Twenty bronze coins." someone increased the bid straight to twenty bronze coins.
The players turned around and saw that the one who bid was a tall and burly man. His name was Juggernaut; the leader of the famous adventurer team, Dreadnought.
No one else bid after Juggernaut did. This wasn't because they were scared to offend him but it was because a bid of more than twenty coppers for a single potion was too much for them. No one wanted to spend twenty bronze coins or more for a one time consumable potion.
"Anyone else who wants to bid a higher price? If not, then this potion will go to the gentleman over there." Announced Cao Huang to the surroundings players.
No one else bid and the potion went to Juggernaut.
Like this the first ten potions were all bought by Juggernaut at twenty bronze coins each.
Since the process of putting a single potion up for bid was proving to be time consuming. Cao Huang decide to sell potions in batches of ten.
The first batch sold for two silvers and ten bronze coins. In this way Cao Huang had sold twenty bottles of Fear Negation Potions till now.
He was going to put his second batch of potions up for bid when there was a large commotion.
Several dozens of players shoved aside the crowd and came towards Cao Huang's stall. After seeing the guild emblem on their equipment, Cao Huang knew that these were the members of Crimson Draught guild.
"Who is the seller of Fear Negation Potions?" the leading guild member asked.
"Are you blind? Take a look around and see for yourself." Cao Huang said annoyingly.

"Oh, so it's you." said that person again.
"Are you so charmed by my voice that you want me to reply again and again to your useless questions?" said Cao Huang making fun of him.
"Brat, don't get too high of yourself. Even if we can't teach you a lesson inside the town, there are hundreds of ways to do so outside it. But you are really lucky because our boss has decided to give you another chance to amend your mistakes. Here take these fifty bronze and give us all the remaining Fear Negation Potions you have left. We also want the recipe for these potions and the location where you found it." said the Crimson Draught member haughtily.
"Why not? In addition to the remaining potions and the recipe, let me also give you a nice head massage...What do you think I am running here?..... A garage sale?" said Cao Huang sarcastically.
"Brat, don't be impulsive. This is your last chance at making amendments, so choose your next words wisely." threatened the Crimson Draught player.
"Will you piss off by yourselves or should I call the guards?" Countered Cao Huang.
"Brat, you are going to regret this." The Crimson Draught player took his teammates and opted to return.
"Everyone, let's not stop the bidding due to the interference from some clowns."
The bidding resumed and soon all one hundred and fifty bottles of Fear Negation Potion were sold. Deducting the creation costs, Cao Huang netted a profit of twenty-six silvers and fifty bronze coins. This was a huge amount of wealth and this stage of the game. This amount of wealth exceeded the net worth of several guilds at this stage of the game.
When Piercing Needle and his team arrived near Cao Huang's stall, they saw the last batch of potion being sold. Seeing this sight they were dismayed.
"Ah, We did our best to arrive here as quickly as possible. but all in vain." Said one of their teammate while sighing.
"Yeah, We can't blame Drifting Leaf for selling the potions, as he did inform us before selling them." Said Piercing Needle while shaking his head.
"It's all Falling Blade's fault. If he hadn't taken us to Level at such a distant area; then we would have made it in time to bid for those potions." The female Shaman blamed the Swordsman who's name was Falling Blade.
"How would I know that the he would start selling the potions just when we reach that area to grind some monsters?" Falling Blade stated in his defense.
"It's nobodies fault. Let's go, we have much hunting to do." Said their team leader, Piercing Needle.
The turned and walked back from the way they came from.
Cao Huang seeing that Piercing Needle and his team were about to leave, shouted at them. "Where are you guys going? I have been waiting for you." When they heard Cao Huang's voice they halted their steps and Falling Blade spoke, "What is the point of waiting here when everything is sold?" Cao Huang guessed what they were thinking, so he spoke, "Just wait for a bit and after five minutes, meet me at the Alchemy Association's entrance." Although they were puzzled of what Cao Huang wanted with them but they still nodded.
Cao Huang packed up his stall and went towards the Alchemy Association. After two or three minutes, Piercing Needle arrived.
Seeing that no-one from Piercing Needles team came with him, he asked, "Why did you came alone? Where are your teammates?" Piercing Needle shook his head and spoke with a sigh, "They were pretty disappointed after failing to acquire the potions, so they asked to be left behind." Cao Huang nodded and took out seventy bottles of Fear Negation Potion from his inventory and placed them in front of Piercing Needle.
Piercing Needle was shocked to see so many bottles. He instantly recognized them as the Fear Negation Potions. "Didn't you sell all of them?" Cao Huang shook his head while smiling. "How could I sell all of them when I haven't fulfilled my promise of selling them to you?"
Piercing Needle wanted to dance in joy but restrained himself. "How much for a single bottle?" Cao Huang immediately answered answered, "The same price we previously agreed upon."
"You mean the price of twelve bronze coins per bottle?" Asked Piercing Needle disbelieving.
Seeing Cao Huang nodding his head and he said, "You don't have to sell them to us at twelve Bronze coins per potion. We will buy them from you at the bidding price of twenty-."
Cao Huang stopped him from speaking any further, "No need. We agreed on twelve Bronze coins, then twelve it is. Besides it's not like I am suffering a loss."
Piercing Needle then realized that Cao Huang was a man of principles. Such type of characters are really hard to find.
"If you need anything or any help then please feel free to contact us. We will surely do it even if we have to die once." Piercing Needle spoke with absolute sincerity.
"No problem."
Seeing Cao Huang keeping his side of the deal, Piercing kept his side and immediately paid him for the seventy bottle of potions. In this way, Cao Huang acquires another Six Silvers and thirty Bronze coins in profits. With this his total wealth increased to thirty three silvers.

I wrote this when I was 16/17 (which was many years ago now!) on a really old PC I called Phylis. I remember having to print it out on an old ribbon printer to submit it to publishers - this was back before esubs were the norm! It never got picked up and I ended up self publishing it. I hope you enjoy.

A Primeval Future
Follow the story of a modern caveman as he learns to survive, thrive, and shape his nascent civilization in a world yet untouched by man. Expect a focus on the nitty-gritty of primitive living, especially early on. I plan for this to eventually progressing to the settlement management and politics stage as people gravitate towards the one guy who looks like he knows what he's doing, but this will likely take some time. Despite the occasional system elements, skilling and levels will not be a part of this story. No shortcuts. There will be violence and there will be sexuality but there will be no sexual violence. I hate reading that crap and I hate writing it even more. This is my first serious foray into writing. I plan to put out at least 1 chapter a week, more when I can. Constructive criticism is very much welcomed as are ideas and suggestions! Cover image credit: "Mesolithic camp site" by Wessex Archaeology is licensed with CC BY-NC 2.0. Book 1 He was cast to the edges of his clan. His father could not stand to even look at him. His baby sister probably didn't even know he was her brother... All because he, unlike all other vampire (The correct terminology will be Wanpyrkos; van-peer-coe-s) kind, was born blind. And what do all creatures do to those that are different, those that do not fit society, those that they think should not have been born to this civilized society...? [Book Cover Made by the wonderful THEMIDNIGHTECLIPSE13] - thank you! I'm only introducing the perspective of the main character for the first part. Things change drastically soon after that. [BDSM entries are clearly marked and written so they can be skipped without affecting the story] ***A couple scenes to whet your palate*** 1. "Uh, we heal from pretty much everything and anything. Have you ever tried physically damaging your eyes to see if they would fully heal?" "N-no. No, it doesn't work," I forced out, my voice a little strangled and cracking before hardening. "And stuff like that, isn't that just wrong?! Hurting someone just to 'fix' them." 2. I leaned and he met me, our soft lips touching and moving perfectly on each other's. I felt as his tongue ran the slit of my lips, my tongue coming to graze it as it passed over, knowing doing so was like catnip to him. He leaned closer, and I shivered as his hands ran from low on my hips and grazed along and up my ribs, pulling my chest closer to his so my body arched and rubbed against him. I hummed in appreciation. [warning: so far aggressive or physical bullying and maybe a little kidnappage and sexual themes as well as possible trigger warnings]
