Fangs of flame meet nature's thorns.
The wolves hold an advantage over the deer as they could just burn down the roots that the deer could summon.
However, the deer would keep the wolves away with their root strike and the buck would protect their herd by charging at the wolves with their antlers.
Aariv crept in the shadows as he killed a woodland deer and flame wolf fighting.
The crackling of fire could be heard throughout the forest as nature's wrath fought back against it.
The Flame Wolf King swiped its claws at the Woodland Buck King as it jumped back and then kicks the wolf king with its legs sending the wolf into a tree.
The two kings had suffered injuries during their fight. The wolf king suffered wounds from the buck king's antlers and hooves. The buck king had burn wounds, bites, and claws wounds.
The wolf king got up and glared at the buck king, the buck king glared back.
The wolf king leapt at the buck king. It missed as the buck king dodged. Waves of flame covered the area, burning the Woodland Buck King, killing several of the deer as well as wolves that were in the Flame Wolf King's pack.
Aariv hissed as the flame grazed him, leaving burn wounds on his body.

While the two kings had been fighting, trees had been burned, the ground turned into a mess of roots as well as been scorched, and monsters that had been caught up in their fight had been killed. Heck, the two had indirectly killed their own allies during their fight.
Aariv had nearly died due to the aftermath of their attacks. Still, he could say that things were smooth sailing due to leveling up a bunch of times without being targeted by the other monsters.
Aariv snuck behind an unsuspecting flame wolf and pounced on it, digging his talons into the wolf's neck using [Stone Claws] to snap the wolf's neck.

Aariv let go of the limp body and slunk back into the shadow. He observed the battlefield to find a vulnerable target.

Aariv begins to cast all of his defensive skills as he began moving.
He dodged to the left as a flame wolf leap past him, jaws open, slamming into a tree, head first. Just as he was about to attack the flame wolf, he felt himself being tossed around as he was bitten by a second flame wolf.
"Urgh!" Aariv grunted as he felt the wolf's teeth, which were on fire, began to crack his armor. He had to recast the skills in order to not be killed which was a drain on his mana.

Due to the skills leveling up, the flame wolf's teeth began to stop cracking Aariv's armor. The wolf began swinging its head while still holding Aariv in its head.
A spike formed from the ground and stuck itself into the wolf's neck, killing it. The wolf fell to the ground, dead.
[Defeated [Flame Wolf] - Lv. 25.

Aariv stumbled out of the flame wolf's mouth as the armor he had fell apart. Hardened blood, stone, and bark dropped to the ground.
Taking a deep breath, Aariv checks his stats.

"I'm almost out of mana," Aariv muttered. Bruises were all over his body along with burned feathers and blood.

[Passive Skill: Lesser Regeneration] - Lv. 1 ---> [Passive Skill: Lesser Regeneration] - Lv. 2
Once his injuries were all healed and feathers were regrown Aariv turned to watch the fight between the two kings.
The Flame Wolf King had one of its legs missing making it limp. The Woodland Buck King had parts of it antlers missing along with wounds covering its body. Out of the two, the wolf king seemed to be the more tired and weak while the Woodland Buck King still had energy and its wounds didn't seem to bother it.
The buck king raised its hoofs, turning into roots that dug into the ground, making its wounds heal and its antlers regrow.
The wolf king charged at the buck not wanting to let the buck king heals, but due to it missing a leg, it was slower than it used to be.
However, the deer were defending their king sending roots after the wolf king, charging at it with their antlers, or healing their king.
The wolf king dodged all of the attacks and howled for its pack to help it. Only a few arrived to help, the others were dead or too injured to help.
The deer weren't looking too good either. Some of the deer were missing one of their eyes, legs, or had massive burn wounds on their bodies. Some of the bucks had lost their antlers.
The wolves charge as the deer fend them off.
Due to the deer having a numerical advantage over the wolves, They were able to kill all of the wolves except for the wolf king.
When it saw that its pack being killed, it became angrier and began to run faster, ignoring its missing leg and the wounds that were inflicted on it.
It was just about to reach the deer before it stops.
It was just about to reach the deer when the Woodland Buck King, antlers freshly regrown, turned and impaled the wolf king. Having been healed by the other deer, the buck grew thorns on its antlers larger than a human head.
The wolf king went limp. The Woodland Buck King threw the wolf king off its antlers and to the ground.
The buck gave the wolf king an angry snort before leaving.
After the deer had left, the wolf king tried to get up, unable to use any skills as it was out of [SP] and [Mana].
It was unable to get up as an owl placed its talons on the wolf's head, digging into the wolf's skull and piercing the wolf's eyes.
The wolf was still alive but was too weak to resist and was only able to whimper in pain.
The owl continued to dig its talons into the wolf's head, not stopping until the wolf king finally die.
Defeated [Flame Wolf King] - Lv. 35.

How to have fun in an apocalypse (Rewrite)
After spending an unsavory amount of time in hell, our protagonist finally manages to escape the place that had kept him captive for so long... again. Unfortunately, even after plotting and planning for years, he ends up in a place not much different from the burning and agonizing Tartarus he once had to call home. Guts, blood, and carnage start to reign over Earth as soon as he set foot in it, much to his dismay. What use is it to cry over spilled milk, though? Tired of the monotony of endless torture, he steps into the world intending to have as much fun as possible. While others might try to raid the Orc Lord with as many people as possible, why not challenge him to an arm-wrestling tournament? The power of friendship will surely be on his side. Why hide from the big, bad wolf in one of your houses if wearing camo in plain sight should have the same effect? Now, making friends and going on adventures would be perfectly fine, if it wasn't for the fact that he hides a few more secrets than one might think at first. This is a complete rewrite! Due to being unsatisfied with the previous version, I have decided to work the story up, beginning from the older chapters! Version 2.0 includes: - enhanced writing and editorial skills - additional information and aspects to characters - minor deviation from storyline and improvements
