"How's the expansion going on in the Betelgeuse Forest?"

The butler responds, "The expansion has been doing quite well, your highness. Baron Lucas had managed to get a village going right along the outskirts of the forest and has been going deeper into the forest. Although he reported that he needs more knights since the monsters in the forest are much stronger than he thought."

Jerrick nod. "Send him the knights he needs." The Betelgeuse Forest was a place that was filled with resources that could be used. Valuable herbs that could be used for high-grade potions, rare monsters whose parts could be used to create weapons, armor and there were even rumors of gold veins being in there. They had not been able to start expanding into the forest because of their rival, the Flora Kingdom going to war against them.

But now that the war had ended with the death of the Queen of Flora they were able to expand into the forest.

"How is my boy doing, Loan?" Jerrick ask.

"Prince Egon is healthy although he is a bit quiet for his age. Only crying when he needs to change his diaper or when he's hungry." Loan replied.

Jerrick nod happy. The king and butler walk side by side in the castle's halls. Jerrick opens a door and enters the room. In the room were maids and a crib, in the was a baby boy that was looking up. Jerrick grabs the baby from the crib and holds him. Jerrick still had a smile on his face.

"Egon my son. Soon you'll rule the kingdom but not now." He said.

The baby just looks at him, not making a single noise.

Jerrick sigh. "You are quiet but smart for your age. Not making a noise when you were born and only crying when you're hungry or when you need to change your diaper." Jerrick then uses an appraisal stone on the baby. His eyes then widen and then he laughed. Surprising the maids and the butler.

"Hahahaha! What a surprise! To think you have [Appraisal] as a baby!" Jerrick laughs. His face then turns serious as he faces Loan and the maids. "I want you to keep what you heard a secret or else I'll have your head. If people found out, then there will be a bounty on Egon with the Flora Kingdom sending assassins, got it?"

The maids nod and Loan bow and said, "Of course, your highness, as your right-hand man I'll make sure this does not leave this room."

Jerrick nods before facing Egon.

"My son, a genius you are and soon you'll show the Flora Kingdom what they truly are. A bunch of backstabbing cowards."
