《Hydar Celestial Imperium》Tribe (14)

Date: 4th Binary Week, 6th Binary Day Sunrise
Location: Hydar Planet
Era: Awakening
We arrived at a distant point, having a large valley in front of me, it had small concentrations of scattered jungle trees, a large river passed by one of its ends, right in this one was a kind of not very large town.
"Hydar Village Identified"
"Dozens of mental signals are detected"
For some reason I could hear this information, I have to imagine that the ones I don't hear are personal to them, I decided not to pay attention to them.
"Master, what do you recommend to cope with this situation?" Ask with respect
"Young Hydar, the best thing is to observe them, we must know what they eat, drink, wear or where they sleep as well as their traditions"
"Is it possible to be detected by your [Psionic Radar] Master?
"It is not possible, we must reveal to you that you are a special Hydar"
"Special?"
"Among your species and it's better they don't know it, a special Hydar is born every thousand binary years, this you must have in secret"
I was momentarily shocked by such a revelation...
"I will keep it a secret, master"
The Etrelyo began to traverse the purple-green meadows of the valley, taking me to a nearby, bushy spot where I could not be seen.
"Lies are not a good idea in the long run."
"It's better to make him feel special, than to reveal our true existence"
"I hope you know what you're doing."
Some voices I couldn't understand were heard in my head I proceeded to ask if anything was going on
"Relax, Young Hydar, we're just thinking about how to deal with your current situation."
I noticed the voice was a bit nervous, but he preferred not to pry any more than necessary.

I put my little head in one of the bushes, diving into it until I made eye contact with the situation.
The Hydars I saw were all different colors, dark, brown, albino, yellow or green, all moving from place to place talking to each other, in a language I could understand but they were too far away to understand.
They were all dressed in a kind of dark tunic without distinction, there were several little ones running around like me, I could notice that they were able to communicate even if in a limited way.
According to the Eolythians, in order not to stand out in this world, they had to blend in with what is expected to be normal or else they could reject me or worse fear me.
Their homes, were a kind of small huts, built of branches, leaves and earth, not very high due to the poor materials.
So their life was outside, many of them were in large drilled fields, some contained vegetables such as feltrians or Reluty tubers in others.
Clearly you could see that they were herbivores, some of them in turn molded the soil into a kind of pottery to be dried in the light of the binary sun and then transport water from the river that passed through the middle of the village.
"Tribal System Detected, Presence of Agriculture, Pottery and Sedentarism"
"We will continue with the investigation, what we know is not enough"
I could hear these phrases in my mind, trusting them I followed my mission

I had been watching the village all morning. The Eolythians had made an effort and had brought me some Krulian Fruits nearby so that I would not faint from hunger.
In the evening I could see the torches illuminating the village, as the night passed I could hear distant noises of suffering and coughing. Apparently some of them were sick.

A few more hours the village was filled with activity and light, a large line of Hydars came out of their small shelters, carrying torches and carrying some of them who were notably sick.
"We must get closer, so we can hear what they're saying.
I followed the orders of that voice in my head, I slipped away into the night, trying not to draw attention to myself even though they were all facing away from me, like a religious procession.
In the light of the binary suns it was easy to detect me because of my albino complexion, crawling as I did, I silently reached one of the corners of the first hut, then tried to hear as best I could
"Ahhh, Gaia's watching you all.
The crowd ducked at the sudden sound of this, a dark and yet bright Hydar in black but gold embroidered clothing had appeared on the scene as he gazed down upon his congregation from above.
"Presence of Detected Religious Culture, Traditions, Submission"
"That's interesting news, they can be easier to control"
Again some voices happened in my head, apparently they didn't want me to understand them.
"Bring on the Gaia fuckers"
The procession of the Hydars brought with them some of their members, some with possibly poisonous purple spots, or others who were raving with fever.
"Gaia, rule our existence and purify the plague is our duty"
I saw the tears coming from some of the individuals in the group, I was afraid that something detestable was going to happen.
"Master, can we intervene?"
"Young Hydar, if you want to change a given society you must do so from within, if you intervene you will go against its primitive beliefs"
The explanation that I received covered the general plane, even if I took the hint of the matter, I could only continue to watch in the hope that one day I would be able to change these customs.
The sick were placed on a makeshift altar made of earth, leaves and some flowers, and then with a strange dance and song they were cut to death.
The group did not turn their eyes even though some of them would shed their tears, those strange rituals made me angry and gave me a sense of danger.
"I know you are afraid young Hydar, but don't succumb to it"
"You who have immeasurable power and we your family, we will support you to change the minds of others of your kind"

Ravyn's Nights - Book 3
Claire's life led her to love. Love led her to death. Death began her eternal struggle to retain both her love and her humanity through 5 centuries of endless nights. Book 3 covers the 19th century. "Ravyn's Nights" is a six book series, with each book covering a different century. Book 6 was actually started first, and it takes place in the near future, bringing the story to a final conclusion. I then started writing the rest of the series when I decided that I wanted to share the details of the life that made her into who she is in Book 6. At the time of posting the first chapter of the series, books 1-2-3 are completed and books four, five and six are in various states of completion. There is currently a novella following a side character that does include a few crossover chapters featuring the main character. The novella will be included in the completed versions of books 4 and 5.

Continuity
I’m writing this all down because I don’t know what else to do with it. This whole experience has been so completely insane that I must record it so people in the future can understand what is going on. Maybe someday someone else can make sense of it. Maybe that person is you, I have no idea. JR awakens from a dream to find that he is late for work! When he tries to call in, he realizes that something is not right. That’s when his friend and co-worker, Frank, calls him and informs him of what just happened to their workplace. JR finds himself in a world that grows increasingly surreal with every passing day. There are basic facts about himself are missing from his memory. When was his birthday again? Taking place in Chicago in the near future, strange buildings, strange events and stranger people populate this world on the other side of the looking glass. JR is left to struggle with his new job and new surroundings, but luckily his old friend Frank is still there to help guide him. He makes many friends who have interesting takes on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. First alerted by Frank, JR slowly becomes aware of a danger lurking in the background that is gradually spreading despite the fact that no one else seems to notice it or acknowledge that he might be on to something. All of this combines to make the novel Continuity about fear, anxiety and paranoia in a perplexing world that seems to be both real and not real at the same time. Rumored to be about 15 chapters and less than 200 pages the novel is written in a first person perspective that breaks the forth wall and will either leave you laughing with delight or scratching your head in confusion, or maybe both!? The one thing it won’t be is boring!
