Date: 3rd Binary Week, 4th Binary Day Sunset
Location: Hydar Planet
Era: Awakening
The giant serpent fell to the ground instantly when its interior was compromised, carbonized by that strange beam of energy.
"PARTIAL RECOVERY!"
It was heard as it drowned out this last scream, then it began to heal some of its wounds but decided not to continue the confrontation and run away from the place.
"The Specimen is running away"
"Leave it, we need to get out of here."
"Re-absorb the Eolythians and Etrelys, we must conserve strength"
The spectral creatures were reluctant to give up their momentary freedom, but knowing that they had no other solution, they disintegrated into a mist that was absorbed by the host.
Quickly my little albino body was propelled through the great cavern, directly into the fabric of the burrow.
"What do we do with the Balrugs?"
"I... if I had more power at my disposal, I would exterminate them!
"Shut up! We'd better concentrate on getting out of here!"
In those days my dreams were full of turbulence, small presences spoke in my head, I wondered if this was something special in me, or something normal?
We walked through the many tunnels dug by the Balrugs, I noticed traces of blood in them as I went along, yet I was adamant about escaping.
"According to the [Psionic Waves] and the [Psionic Radar] there are several exits available, I am collating the data to decide which is better"
"Keep me informed"
I advanced as fast as I could but suddenly a thunderous roar was heard all over the labyrinthine burrow.
"BALRUGS, I'LL GET YOU, IF YOU DON'T BRING ME THAT LIZARD!"
"We detected multiple threats, the Balrugs have detected us"
"We will use the Etrelyo's [Psionic Thruster]"
Quickly a mist surrounded me from among this a being similar to a shark emerged, as a calculated movement, I got on it without problems.

"Thrusters at maximum, we will avoid any grouping"
My speed was pleasantly increased, thanks to the Etrelyo
The tunnels of excavated earth passed through my eyes quickly.
My head staggered unconsciously at the sight, from which a sharp headache ensued.
"We are overloading the host's brain"
"Close our eyes, we reduce our mental tax burden and concentrate our efforts on the speed of the Etrelyo"
The Etrelyo was being fed by a large tributary, the mists converging from myself, leaving a trail of violet sparks.
We came across a sort of Balrug barricade, piles of earth quickly piled up, being shaped.
"From here, you shall not pass!"
But my speed doesn't slow down, maintaining the same rhythm, sowing terror in the hearts of the Balrugs
"Concentration of [Psionic Shield] confirmed"
The barrier hit a kind of concentrated barrier right in front of it, smashing it to pieces and opening a big gap that left us free.
The balrugs were shouting some insults but we didn't hear them because we were moving too fast.
We kept going, until a tremendous tremor flooded the scene,
we heard cries of despair from the balrugs who had tried to stop us.
"He detected the Kiletrian behind us, he is approaching."
[Psionic reserves; 27%]
"I give up trying to face her again, she's too strong and we don't have enough energy left."
The Etrelyo was advancing very quickly, we encountered some more barriers along the way but we were able to overcome them with the established countermeasures.
"YOU FUCKING MIDGET! I'LL FINISH YOU OFF AND EAT YOU UP!"
An angry voice was heard behind our backs, even though we were disembodied beings.
"It won't be long before the designated exit"
"We detected a Balrug cluster around the exit, they're closing it down."

"Can we get through with the shield?"
"I'm afraid that won't be possible, I just hope the others aren't the same."
We continue to move forward, but on our way we detected that these tunnels had become a death trap, we are locked in, it will take a long time to dig an exit by ourselves.
"We must face the Kiletrian, we have no other choice."
"We'd better find a way out, there might be one."
"My brothers, there is no other option, let's finish with the Kiletrian, the outside is dangerous, at least here we can rest.
The Etrelyo at my feet looked for the biggest place it could, then it gradually slowed down, finally it disintegrated in a mist that impregnated the environment, it gradually got bigger.
Then it formed about 5 Eolythians that wandered around the ranch, trying to flank the Kiletrian that was coming after us.
The place was still narrow, but it would give the possibility to avoid the abusive burden of the colossal snake.
"WHERE ARE YOU HIDING?"
To get their attention, we decided to strike the first blow, we concentrated some of the energies that we still had left condensing, once again in a lethal ray, smaller than the previous one, this one shot towards its target
From the depths of darkness a terrible shriek was heard, we clearly hit the target, then a shudder ran through us.
Part of the tunnel was blown away, the giant snake had reduced the predetermined part by a third from the rubble we had arranged to finish it.
At least the Wraith creatures were still intact, they quickly opened fire in the face of the imminent threat.

8 166For the Hoard
Ergo the dragon is enjoying his seasonal hibernation when human explorers from another world invade his lair. Sucked into an unknown land, and reduced to a fledgling dragon by the loss of his hoard; Ergo must struggle to survive in a world that has been utterly subjugated by humanity. More importantly, will he ever get to finish his hibernation!? note: while I ticked the boxes for sexual/traumatizing content, I mostly did that to keep my options open. I don't currently have any planned, nor do I expect it to be a significant part of the story. After all, the main character is literally a dragon.
8 195Advent of the Mindfire Mage: A Challenger's Return Story
Updates MWF, 6PM EST! Not so long ago, a story was posted on Webnovel, one that fired my imagination unlike almost anything before or since. It was known as The Challenger's Return: Rebirth of the Rainbow Mage. However, 150 chapters in, the author NightWind, who I'd personally interacted with and begun to consider a true friend, vanished from the internet without a trace. And so, I have acted upon my fervent desire to pick up his torch, to refuse to let his world that stirred such passion in me die. Read below about my own take on The Challenger's Return. Was Lheticus summoned to the Tower by chance, or by choice? Either way, with the new power he wins, he won't hesitate to burn anyone who seeks to keep him from his true love to cinders, and with a unique ability of the highest potential, he may just succeed, but he's just as likely to burn himself down. And as it turns out, the latter case may be woven into his very destiny...can that destiny be changed? And if it is, what will be the repercussions for the Tower? (You may want to read a fair amount of the original Challenger's Return before starting this, as, particularly in the early chapters, many things that are laid out in it are glossed over in this story.)
