《Hydar Celestial Imperium》Balrugs (07)

Date: 3rd Binary Week, 3rd Binary Day Sunset
Location: Hydar Planet
Era: Awakening
After having finished with the Yurek, I woke up after a few seconds during which I breathed, trying to regain my composure, feeling strange as if I had woken up from a dream and then found myself...
- "Consciousness Initiated Normally"-
The Yurek at my feet with a big hole the size of a dough from my fists, crossing it from one end to the other leaving its whole in a disgusting composition and with an unpleasant smell.
- "Adverse Reaction Detected"-
I suddenly became nauseous, then looked away completely, then slowly looked down and held my steps towards what dictated consciousness itself to the small energy signature still rolling in place.
- "Should we Immerse ourselves with these beings?" -
- "According to the analyses, he poses no threat"-
- "plus we can communicate, we might get information about the medium where we are"-
The little Balrug was bound by the thick protruding tentacles, in an unsuccessful attempt with my thin ones I tried to untie him without much luck, I did not have many options at my disposal, it occurred to me to use the [Psionic Invocation] perhaps the Eolyto could help me...
- "Psionic Nodules: Online"-
- "Liberating Eolyto Sent"-
This time when the Eolytus was invoked, for some reason I noticed that he was not the same as before, although he was visibly similar, he kept his own features easily confused, this being invoked again made a kind of dance as the previous one in the first instance then he directed what I think is his look.
I could not communicate with this being, but at least this one understood by gestures, signs or senses what was happening to me, then again to untie the trapped Balrug who kept his eyes closed as he began to convulse, which gave a somewhat pitiful sight.
- "Help him, Untie that creature, The Guest's vigilance will be in your hands as well.
The Eolytus stayed a few moments observing with a kind of warmth impossible to discern, then a wave of violet mist energy flooded the surrounding environment causing the various tentacles to disintegrate on contact one after the other with great care until the creature was released and retained its freedom.
- "Poison and internal wounds were detected in the organism"- A kind of glance was thrown from one Eolythus to another- "[Proceeding]"-
"[Recalculating Psional Measurements]"-
"[Initiating Recovery Process]"-
While all this was going on before my eyes, the Balrug was raised to the heights of the sunset as the two great binary stars hid behind each other, leaving a sunset that I would envy many others.
- "Complete Healing Process"-Another gaze full of determination was cast.
- "Forcing Consciousness Home"-
The Balrug's eyelids slowly opened as, realizing his present condition, I saw him crumple his trunk slightly as a comforting sign, then he proceeded, stretching his three great legs until at last he was awake, the latter after having left him on the floor.
- "Consciousness: Online"-
-"[Activating Camouflage]"-
Before all this spectacle and seeing how the Balrug was beginning to rise and become aware of himself, I am deeply grateful to the Eolyto. I also noticed, as this last one flashed in a certain way, but I did not give it too much importance.

Balrug's eyes opened at once, dismayed, he shuddered in madness as if in great danger as he exhaled deeply, he tried to stand up.
Then he looked about him with the utmost suspicion, he laid his little eyes on the Yurek on the ground, he noticed that he was not moving, and then cautiously he looked at me, exhibiting a great curiosity as he arched his countenance
- "-[Communication Protocols Activated]"-
I tried to talk to him when he noticed me but I doubted my reptilian grunts could be understood...
- "Initiating Telepathy Protocol"-
- "Recalculating..." -
The Balrug said something that at first I did not understand but as time passed the strange noises were transformed into words and so I could understand everything he said, but not before suffering a mental shock because his noises did not coincide with my ears.
- "Recalculated Telepathic Systems"-
- "You saved me?" -
I could hear that phrase not in my ears, but directly in my mind, I possessed the ability to possibly sweep away these kinds of barriers between species.
- "I saw that you were in danger"-I answered by talking
For some reason, I doubt he could understand my speech, but I have the feeling that his brain captured the information in a wave of energy, possibly the "Language of Mind".
The Balrug rose suddenly, holding on as best he could, then trotted slowly to where I was, as he posed no threat to me to let him do so.
When he was close enough, although he seemed a little shy, he stretched out his horn as a gesture of good faith.
-I thank you, save my life," said the Balrug with a grateful face.
Not knowing how to react, he tried to shake the horn with one of my hands, this one realized and saw that he made a mistake, I was not one of his kind who also had one like the...
Despite these we did a great "Handshake"-
- "Friend, I want to invite you to where my family lives"-
- "Should we let this continue?" -Aolytus asked
- "Never mind, the Eolytus sent will protect you"-
The Eolytus who had seen the exchange of friendship all this time remained in his place, oozing an aura of strict respect through his violet mists.
Most interestingly, the Balrug could not see it, as a kind of invisibility.
- "I would like to come with you, I have been alone... I have had no one." -I said with an air of loneliness
-Don't worry, my family will welcome you, with open trunks," said little Balrug as he cast suspicious eyes.
The Expression of the Horns produced a certain smile on my face, I was young, inexperienced, innocent and with a great curiosity. Without thinking and embraced by his words, I followed him wherever he told me.
I was full of questions and eager for answers, and decided to strike up a conversation while in the darkness at least Balrug was able to guide himself without getting lost.
Together we resumed our journey while I followed a little further back, he was much faster than me and he noticed by lightening the pace in his turn.

-We are very close, I will introduce you to my family when we arrive", he said happily.
The jungle at night was really scary, thousands of shadows were moving around me thanks to my radar I could detect them and it seems that the Balrug could also in a certain way.
His voice accompanied me, during the journey, giving me support to follow him"-
- "It's this way, we're here"-He said quickly
The Balrug went into a sort of burrow built under the ground, among the large branches of a large Lepreuzon, a few moments passed while I noticed how they moved zigzagging as I approached the entrance, I received a sort of conversation in my head.
-I thought that you had died," said an angry voice.
- "I'm sorry, Mama, I was out exploring"-said Young Balrug
-"Never do that again, we Balrug must move together."
-"You are still not skilled enough to detect predators near you," exclaimed Mother Balrug in anger.
-Speaking of which," he paused briefly as he turned his eyes away, "why do I feel a kind of strange presence at the entrance to our nest?" said the voice.
"That?" He was suddenly quiet for a few moments and then tried to continue. "Oh, don't worry, he's a friend. He saved my life," mumbled Balrug.
- "Were you about to die?" -Balrug's mother exploded.
- "What are these noises?" -He continued, "What's going on here?"
- "My love! - "Please say something to our son!" exclaimed the angry mother
- "My son"-I felt a quick glance-"I thought you were dead, when I didn't see you"-"I'm just... glad I was wrong"-
"That's all!" "He's my first child!" I felt a look come out - "Is that all you're saying?" "You're a bastard!" cried the mother Balrug in anger.
-It is the water of every day for us," said Balrug, making light of it, "then he continued, 'Woman, though it is hard to face...it has been like this forever," replied Father Balrug.
During this time I could hear in my mind everything they were saying even though their strange grunts I could not understand them, I did not know whether to intervene or throw in the towel did not want to cause more problems than what was already happening.
But suddenly a head of a larger Balrug appeared from the burrow, it looked up and down at me carefully making some of those strange sounds.
"Did you save my son?" asked Father Balrug
"Yes, I did," I quickly replied.
"Come in" - "don't stand outside" - he paused for a few seconds -
"It's dangerous, we'll talk inside"
Before entering I looked at the Eolyto, I think he took the hint but still didn't listen to me. Having entered the small hole. It took on a curious smaller shape and followed me like an invisible bodyguard.
"Come, it is this way," I thought for a moment, "don't get lost," said Father Balrug.
The Burrow, dug into the earth, was like a kind of labyrinth, full of various winding tunnels that gave the impression that they collapsed from one moment to the next, but they did not.
I followed the Balrug, going through several of them, making several turns and breaks that puzzled me. In the invisible light of my Eolyto it was impossible for me not to get lost, Balrug cast a suspicious look at me processing whether I could also see in this perpetual darkness.
Finally we arrived at a large room, illuminated by a kind of fluorescent lichen that adorned the main points.
When we arrived I could see the little Balrug and a bigger Balrug must have been his mother...
"Greetings"-"little one," he said separately-
-I thank you for saving my son," exclaimed mother Balrug.
-It was nothing, I was just passing by and saw how he was attacked by a bigger creature.
"As I understand it, I am a Hydar, though I have not found others like me yet," I said reminiscing
"Hydar? mmm, I think I saw a settlement of those strange creatures a long time ago", replied the Father
"Where did you see them?" Ask quickly
"I really don't remember, we Balrug usually travel a lot following the seasons of the leaves" -Pause- "But it's too late now stay with us"
"Yes, dear, I'll have dinner soon." He glanced at some sort of warehouse full of vegetables.
The idea didn't excite me much since they had other kinds of quite appetizing foods, but out of respect and to gain their trust it was better to accept them...
"Yeah, that'll do it..." Try saying nicely
"Here you go"- He gave me some not inconsiderable bunches of Relutys- "Thanks for the food"-
We all sat around in a makeshift living room enjoying our respective foods, and that night I asked him about my species, although he gave me a hard time about other things. Telling more about the Balrugs... Try not to make strange faces when consuming the Reluty..
"The Leaf Season," every few binary cycles, we migrate south in search of more perennial leaves, among other vegetables that are very important to us...
The talk continued for a long time, I felt almost like family, but some of his kindness gave me a certain chill that I could not explain.
- "The Balrugs' Polls, they identify that they're hiding something"-
- "We can even communicate it, so that he realizes--"
- "I'm afraid we can't yet..." -
An imaginary grimace of disappointment was drawn between one of them..
- "Killing the Balrugs on suspicion is not enough."
- "To frighten our guest, is the worst of ways"-
- "Then we'll have to play along." -
- "Trying to get the Eolyto Guardian to communicate..." -
That night I slept comfortably away from all the danger that could be expected, from the desperation of those creatures, gloating, in which the Eolythus would watch over me...

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.

The Crisis on Planet 9
Welcome to the dream colony Planet 9, where the streets are stained by blood and the buildings are filled with human remains. The creatures roaming among the abandoned cars and flying vehicles resemble almost to perfection the mindless cannibalistic zombies born from the fictional nightmares of mankind. The cities were built in the retro style of the 21st century, but the technology of the 24th century is ever present, mostly within the bodies of those mortally challenged monstrosities. After all, what turned them into these things was not an evolved organic virus, an alien disease, or some sort of magical artifact, it was the corrupted and reprogrammed nanobots within their bodies. Originally, they were meant to heal them and help them access the tech around them, but now they were the origin of this disaster. Among the rotting dead and the Nano-Z, as the survivors called them, Kardian Pandora awakens two months after getting bit by one of them. A young teacher at the local Resonance High, foolish and naive in his own way, but now driven by the Sapient AI in the nanobots inside his body to hunt down other Nano-Z and learn how to survive. For now, his only goal is to become strong enough and rejoin his students and fellow colleagues, foolishly hoping to somehow be able to get back to the time when the undead did not rule the streets. Will Kardian be able to survive in this new savage world or will his naive outlook lead him to a dead end? Volume 1 can be bought on Amazon: Resonance High

Gon And Killua Fanfic
Ok similar to my last story this is a fanfic about Gon and Killua. I don't feel comfortable writing about them at the age they are now so I'm aging them up so they will be 16. I have cute pictures to go with the story and some of them they don't look 16 or whatever so we're just going to pretend :)
