《Hydar Celestial Imperium》Psionic Spear (02)

Date: Unknown
Location: Unknown
Era: Drift
Lost in the vastness of the cosmos, trapped and squeezed without mercy, desirous of our freedom, we lost all that we once knew as our home.
In our lethargy we felt as if we were stripped of our place in the stars and as if in a devastating burst, we flew through reality itself, we could see things that none of us could have ever imagined, strange entities, singular material forms, primitive or incredibly advanced civilizations. We decided with curiosity to continue investigating, all this was happening in front of us.
Diving into a kind of cosmic voyage, we could see and understand the immensity of the cosmos, but many of us imprisoned in our reduced place in this great ray of starlight lost our heads to the point of being unable to bear our surroundings, dissolving their energetic existence in itself.
We do not know how long it was or will be before we could again see the outside, we saw our dimension collapse and the survivors gradually wither and perish.
-A group of Eolythians said, "There must be something we can do." They released a flash of violet furiously, "We refuse to disappear like this.
-A dominant Eolytus said, "I have a solution, we have a solution." He said clearly
- "What kind of solution?" -Claimed the group gravely
-The Eolytus looked at others deeply- - "There is a way, we are able to generate our own psionic energy, this has allowed us to survive at least"-
- "We understand that"-"But what do you propose?"
- "The energy we generate is scarce," he continued, "for as long as we've been trapped in this tiny place and because of the indefinite number of casualties..."
The Eolythians listened to this entity similar to them with their ideas, they as a species always thought collectively it is only because of the harshness of the situation and the drift towards the unknown that they upset all their main beliefs making them acquire a certain consciousness of themselves.

- "According to my calculations, we can dominate the force that pushes us through reality, we use our energy, that of our deceased brothers and sisters and finally we must..."-
The Eolyto felt that if he said something like that without softening it first he would have himself crucified for which he stammered for a few moments while the other beings of spectral energy surrounded him with growing curiosity and hope.
The Eolythians, not believing that they could achieve such a thing, apparently a genius had appeared among them according to the auspicious need in which their species was
- "We shall..." -Cut off his voice dryly-
- "Tell us, we have no future as we are, only despair!" -shouted the surrounding Eolythians
-I shouldn't have mentioned it, but maybe there was something else left for them-"We must...sacrifice ⅔ of our current population"-Finally he said it, he was sure they would hate it now...
- "What did you say?" - "You dared to tell us that genocide of our species is the only way!"
The Eolytus knew that the damage was done. Even though he knew that eradicating the Etrelyos, his predator, was his main form, they were not enough, many of them had already perished and the remaining energy had been degraded too much.
The disembodied Psionists, besides being angry with the Eolytus who mentioned this in the end, had many of them resigned to the fact that it would be the only possibility.
Out of the darkness and immensity of space, where thousands of stars were displaying their light, a violet hyperspace window opened instantly at a given point in a binary system, letting a spear formed of psionic energy pass through at great speed.

Aiming at one of the many planets in this binary system, he gradually slowed down until he entered the upper atmosphere without much resistance, flying through the reddish-toned skies as if by premeditated action, and began to probe the surface and its environment.

The spear crossed the distance moved by a clear objective, survival in the face of its deterioration. Because it was impossible for it to obtain psionic energy in this dimension, it only had the very product of the various Eolyths stored inside it and its scarce elaboration of the mere presence of its existence.
[Locating Target]
Moved by a kind of hive mind strangely divided into various voices, the spear flew across the skies in search of a being that could contain its essence, any other mode of survival was rejected.

With no other solution than the hive, he had to decide between sacrificing more of his people to find something better or keeping what they found. Having finished with so many of his people made his possibility of extinction as a form of existence, although spectral, more evident by submerging it in the fear of carrying out such action again.
[Preparing Target Insertion]
The Spear, disintegrated into thousands of energetic fragments as the surroundings swayed wildly to the waves released from this hyperdimensional energy.

We live in the hope that one day our people will be able to live again, even though we are limited to our current position and far away from our longed-for home.

The Undead Revolution
This was my first attempt at writing a story, in hiatus indefinitely. This story follows Silvy, half-elf, a rare race despised by both humans and elves. Having never met her father, the first years of her life were spent together with her mother, who had to leave her native village because of the blasphemy she had committed by giving birth to Silvy. At the age of eight, Silvy became an orphan and was left to fend for herself. Her mother had died of illness, Silvy’s life turning upside down: the child went from living in a modest but cozy home with poor but daily meals to live outside the walls in the slums, where crime was commonplace and food was scarce. Luck had yet to abandon her completely though, because a group of orphans like Silvy decided to help, integrating her into their group and teaching the tricks of the trade; that is, stealing and swindling. But fate had not yet finished playing with her. Kidnapped and frightened, her life will turn upside down again when she awakens as undead, but still able to think clearly.

Alec has plenty of use for it though when he is brought to a new world filled with monster and magic. In this new world the strong trample over the weak. When reaching this new world Alec makes a vow to never to let anyone determine how he lived his new life and to do whatever the hell he wants for a change. To accomplish this he becomes a necromancer, which is a profession that is hated by all. ------------------------------------- I am currently not writing this story I am doing a similar novel with distinct changes using the title Will of the Dead. The Crossroads
Meet Pete, he suddenly finds himself in a black void for no reason whatsoever, but for some strange reason there is a screen asking him to start the tutorial. For what? He has no idea, but he doesn't really care at this point in his life.Follow along in his story as he travels to The Crossroads, a fantastical place that has every fictional being present, from goons and fodder in videogames, all the way to Frankenstein's monster in books, and then back to the Doc Brown from movies.Pete will have to overcome challenges on a constant basis if he wants to have a life he actually cares about.-------------------------------------I was inspired by things such as the original wreck it ralph movie (haven't seen the new one), Galactic Fist of Legend, and The City Of Terror. Not to mention all the different franchises and characters I am going to mention, I don't own a single one of these nor do I claim to by writing this, I just want people to have something to enjoy since I am drained on my other work.I hope you enjoy, and to say it right off the bat since this is something that upsets me, I don't mind if you're critical of the work, but jesus, don't be rude. I love criticism but I hate people that go and put a 1 star with no reason, but if you put 1 star and give me a good reason then I'll use it to grow as an author! Thanks everyone! Hope you enjoy the story!

A Long Refrain
September, in the Continuate: For most students living in the Third Division, the month's arrival usually means the start of a new school year. But not so for one particular freshman, whose first month at college seems to never end—literally. Set during the 20th year of the nation's Rectification Era, A Long Refrain follows Melody Quick’s attempts to escape from the month-long time loop she's found herself trapped in. Her journey, which starts in the capital city of Somnhaven, will take her across the vast expanse of land once known as Circadia, whose forgotten histories, ancient secrets and eccentric inhabitants could hold the key to discovering the true nature of the loop and the role she herself plays within it. However, the more she learns, the more cruel truths she must face: Will she really be able to handle the awful reality behind the loop, and all that it entails? And will those very same answers she's found be enough to not only break her free from the loop, but to also protect the people she holds dear? (A-and from what, exactly ...?)

The Eternal Vigil
The year is 2220, a time when governments and nation-states are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Instead, all prominent parts of human society are now organizing around the commands of three great Artificial Intelligences, owned and operated by the world's largest corporation. World peace has been achieved, and the very word 'politics' has disappeared from people's lips. Religion has largely disappeared, replaced in some parts by worshipping of the great AIs, but mostly substituted by a devotion to material goods and faith in the market. There is now a general consensus that the best form of government has been found. No, it is not democracy, nor is it autocracy or oligarchy. Instead, it is technocracy - rule by the learned, the intelligent, and the skilled. And who are more learned, intelligent, and skilled than the great AIs? Exactly, no one. The AIs will correct some market failures once in a while, but shall otherwise let the market be free. After all, the freer the market, the freer the people. Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created. The story is already finished but I still need to do some editing so a chapter should be released each day for a month. It is a bit political, as you can probably tell by the introduction, so there is that (it will low-key read like a philosophy dump 10% of the time, so really it's like Atlas Shrugged but liberal and worse lol). Also, I actually wrote this in grade 10 as part of my MYP Personal Project, and recently touched up on it for online publication. Finally, if you find the writing style passable and are interested in my other works, check out the one in the link below. It is a fantasy set in the Ancient Greek world, and is completed and uploaded in full: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/35099/the-oresteia-modernized
