Joe Setiawan, age twenty-nine years old, and 'was' a genius programmer. He no longer a genius because that night before the final exam, his drink was spiked and make him succumbed to his desire and confess his feelings to the campus belle.

But that's not all that's happened. When the campus belle rejects him in an outright manner, he snapped and then pushed by somebody towards the campus belle. When he feels the campus belle body, he loses his mind and tries to defile her in front of everybody.

The university then tries to cover the incident, but still penalized him and left a stain on his record forever. His scholarship was retracted, and because he is an orphan, he can no longer finish his study.

His life was in a mess, it took years for him to fix his life. After many years of begging and being homeless, he finally got a job being an errand boy in a third-rate software company.

Because he was a genius, his programming skill was noticed by a senior programmer in his company. He was instantly promoted to a junior programmer and join that senior team. But, there is no free meal in this world. He realized that he was being used by that senior. He painstakingly writes programs day and night for that senior to take credit and be rewarded, meanwhile, he got nothing.

Many times he had a thought to sabotage the program, but he remembers that if he to that, his life is over. At least, he has something to eat and a place to live now. Now, after six-seven years of working, he got plenty of experience and decided to resign and seek a job at a better company.

But after he submitted his resignation, that senior approach him and told him that if he resigned, he will get a poor review on his performance and will contact all software companies to not hire him.

He despaired. This day was an unlucky day for him. His painstakingly written code was corrupted. Tomorrow is the deadline for the assignment.

Clutching his head, he mumbled "F*ck! Even though I have a backup, but I need to finish it today! Do I have to pull all-nighters 3 days in a row?" Joe then stopped mumbling and return to work. Gradually, his visions blurred and he closed his life for eternity...

Joe opens his eyes slowly and is greeted by unfamiliar surroundings. He was laying on top of looks like an altar. He tries to sit scanned his surrounding.

Stalactites hanging above his head, walls made of rocks, he was sure that he inside some sort of cave. But the odd thing is, he can see the surrounding without needing any light source.

"Master, you awake!" A strange sweet voice was heard from his right. Instinctively, Joe turned his head and shocked at what he saw.

"Ghost!!!" He screamed.

That ghost frowned and said, "Is your head still hurt master? Do you not remember me?".

"Wha... Go away! Who is your master?!" Joe tried to run but he felt pain in his head and fell.

"Master! Don't move yet! Your spirit injury is not healed yet." That ghost helps me laid on top of the altar and my pain lessened.

"You... Who are you calling master? And why I am here?"

Hearing that, the ghost frowned and said "Master, you did not remember anything? That bastard Ishmael! He damaged your spirit so badly!" The ghost snapped and rambling about Ishmael.

My head still hurting so bad, so I closed my eyes and calmed my mind. My mind is so tranced that I didn't realize 1 day was passed just like that.

When I opened my eyes, a ton of information swarmed to my mind, but my head didn't feel uncomfortable. It was at that time I realized that I have transmigrated.

He currently occupying a Void Demon body called Joe Septim. Yesterday, the Septim family got decimated by Ishmael's family, the Razzam family. The Razzam family consists of Void Demon too, but the Razzam family had lower standing than the Septim family.

Razzam family got help from Ishmael's friend, Ankou, a one-eyed demon specialized in mind attack. His family world's, Harmony Haven World, a mid-level world was invaded by Razzam troops.

Ankou was a swift assassin and killed many Septim high ranking member. Without high ranking member hold the fort, the resistance of lower member was futile.

Joe was the last hope of the Septim family and sent to a faraway world, Hinterland Eternal World. This low-level world originally a gift from his father to his son after his father conquer this world, but that day will never come.

His father hopes that Joe will revive the glory of Septim and conquer Hinterland Eternal World, so he sends a few of his servants to escort Joe. But, his father can no longer hold on and died, so his servant who escorting Joe died too.

The reason demons loved to enslave souls is to accumulate Divinity, the stronger their servant, the stronger they are. Soul servants agreed to be enslaved because their master can provide them with plenty of resources and safety from demon beast.

A Demon beast is a creature that feeds on the soul, so they love to wreak havoc on the mortal world, demon, or angel. When the master died, the servant too died. That's why demons or angels usually don't easily appear.

The woman ghost beside Joe called Carmilla. She is the only servant Joe had. But, she is a support servant, and very weak on top of that. Her power is to possess any inanimate object. His family tried to persuade him to cancel the contract, but he refuses, saying that she was his very first servant.

Because his mind is injured badly, an unfortunate event happened. Joe's soul from Earth invades his body. If this body is currently at its peak, there is no way that Joe's Soul would win. But currently, this body's mind was weak and easily invaded.

So, Joe easily occupied this body now and because the previous soul was damaged, he only got fragmented memory from this previous soul. One thing that sure that he already accepted his fate now. 'Hey, it's better than my previous life fate at least'. Joe tried to sit, and he no longer had headaches.

"Master, are you okay now?" Said Carmilla came out from the bracelet I wear.

"I am okay. I just need a rest to restore my spirit. My spirit is very low right now, and apparently, my realm returned to Transcend-1. My Divinity also empty." His original realm was Transcend-5, almost reaching Ascended realm. But, power aside, he got no Divinity.

The difference between mortal and transcended beings is Divinity. Sure, he can easily kill mortal by using a mana spell, but he is guaranteed to be killed by Transcend-1 using a divine spell. This is because Carmilla is very weak, and provide no Divinity for him.

"Sorry, master... I cannot provide you any help..." Carmilla's eyes are wet. If she can cancel the servant contract, she will do so. She doesn't want to be a burden for her master.

"It's okay Carmilla. No one blames you. This is Razzam's family fault." Joe patted her shoulder and console her.

"Right! This is their fault! Master, the old master gave this world for you to conquer so we can get our revenge!" Carmilla's eye shone and clenched her fist. But, she became dejected again.

"But... How can we conquer this world without troops?" She dejectedly sat down.

Joe look at the bracelet on his arm and asked. "Carmilla, what is this bracelet that you possessed just then?"

"Oh, right! The old master said that this spatial bracelet contains family treasure for the master!" Carmilla excitedly said.

"So, how can I access it?" Joe asked.

"Just concentrate your mind on the bracelet, and it will feel your consciousness. Each spatial item has different soul marking."

He then tried to concentrate his mind on the bracelet. At first, the bracelet doesn't respond. But, a weak tiny from this body original soul touch the bracelet and dissipated. The bracelet's spatial storage appears in Joe's mind. He didn't look at the content but asked Carmilla

"So, how do you erase the imprint?"

"Umm, when your soul dissipated, the imprint will automatically be erased. A normal soul without consciousness would be dissipated in a month, but a conscious soul can exist for a long time." Carmilla said with a weird expression.

"Oh okay, It's nothing. I just casually asked," Joe said without giving much explanation.

He exited the bracelet storage and opened his eye. He feels that his mind right now became clear after the last remnant of his previous soul dissipated.

So he tried again to access the spatial bracelet, and now he got in on the first try. 'i thought that soul not easily dissipated? Especially transcended soul? But maybe because this body precious soul is severely damaged, and I consume a part of it too.' He shook his head and look what's inside the bracelet.
