Chapter-4-God Lost Avatar part 1

Timber walked towards the door with a smile mentally to the point of collapse, but remained standing his will was what led him to not sleep for 42 hours in real life and working with wood for 7 days in virtual reality. On the morning of the fifth day Timber obtained the skill Mastery Carpentry and to his surprise the skill started in Level 7 giving him a day and a half to take the skill from beginner to intermediate.

Timber stood in front of Madame Clotild and said. “Show Mastery Carpentry Skill to Madame Clotild”

“Excuse me, I'm looking for Eruiel”

The elf looked up and upon seeing the ax, said.

“I am Eruiel, if you have the ax, means that you come to take the test”

“Yes”

“Take this and make yourself comfortable, I'll go find the books, the test is that you read all the books that I will bring.” Eruiel said giving a library card to Timber.

Timber sat at a table in a corner and wait. After 30 minutes Eruiel appeared with a cart full of books and said.

“This is the first part, Read them while I search the other books”

* There are over 50 books and is only the first part! Thank goodness I enjoy reading * Timber thought

After 8 hours reading Timber got up from his seat to get something to eat when he was stopped by Eruiel.

“Hungry? I'll fix you something to eat do not stop reading” Eruiel said with a smile, almost as if waiting to show his skill in the kitchen.

In 2 minutes Timber had a plate with something like rice. The food was worse than barley bread; Timber nearly lost his tongue on the first bite but Timber said nothing and continued eating. All for the sake of completing the quest

* So that's why Eruiel should not find out about my hunger. If I say anything about the food I probably fail the test * Timber thought

3 RL days after, Timber finished reading the first 50 books that were mostly about famous forests. Timber also obtained the skill Photographic Memory and the Sustenance stat.

Walking in the streets on his way to the Merchant Guild Timber took notice that the people of the city no walked away from him like before and that some even greet him.

In the Merchant Guild, Timber asked to the receptionist to speak to Greta but the receptionist said.

Timber turned his back to the receptionist and was about to leave when a scream pierced his ears.

“Wait, you must be Timber” said a voice at the top of the stairs to the second floor

Timber turned his back again and watched what appeared to be a female copy of Ivar, the only difference was his eyes and pronounced female body.

“I am Greta, apologies for the behavior of my employee, I think she could use some time in the department of transportation”

The receptionist's face turned pale on hearing about the transportation department.

“About the test, I want you to be the temporal head of the department of transportation” Greta Said

“What means to be the head of the department of transportation?” Timber asked.

“As chief, you will have three employees, you must deliver all packets in the warehouse and must also repair all damaged packages” Greta Said

Greta guided us to a large warehouse in the back guild where two employees were playing cards.

“Form a line” Greta said

The employees and Gina formed a line side by side in front of Greta and Timber.

“Timber present here will be your new boss. State your name, position and main abilities” Greta said

“Gina, Receptionist, keep accounts and identify objects”

“Aren, Carriage driver, tame horses, repair, and driving carriages”

“Bjorn, Workman, repair, woodwork and heavy lifting”

“To work and Timber if you do not finish in two months you will have to take care of packets arriving that month” Greta said when leaving.

“Gina you can identify the damaged packages while we repair the identified items” Timber said

“Do it by your own” Gina said

“Let us finish this game man” Bjorn said while taking the cards and sit at the table next to Aren.

Timber had zero Leadership so his employees do not follow his orders

* As my grandfather would say if you cannot catch a fish with your hands then use a net* Timber thought

“I will give you 35 gold if we completed the work in a month and I will give you 15 pieces of silver for each work week” Timber said

Without having to repeat Timber speech twice, the employees began to work as if their life depended on it.

In the first week Timber and his employees repaired and classified all packages which were mostly made of wood from toys, bookcases, signs, barrels and more. Timber improved the caravan of the guild and also built another 3. Due to having to pick up many heavy packages Timber Leadership, Strength, Vitality, Endurance and Sustenance stats rise.

By the end of the third week all packages were delivered and all employees received their gold

“Amazing, I thought that I could have you working longer, here is your pay” Greta said

Thanks to the package deliveries Timber already knew the city like the palm of his hand so it was not difficult to find the store and buy some potions.

When Timber approached the building of the Guild of Hunters he could see something in the shooting range, a small figure was shooting arrows to the air but instead of fall in the ground all the arrows were landing in the target. Close enough Timber could see that the small figure was a dwarf. Then a idea took form in the mind of Timber

“Sorry to interrupt, I have a package for Bow Hand” Timber said while entering to the shooting range

The dwarf then turned to see who spoke and when looked the bow in Timber hands he ran to meet him.

“I am Bow Hand and that must be my new bow” The dwarf said

“Yes” Timber said delivering the bow and showing the ax

“So you come to take the test, take this” Bow Hand said giving a piece of black wood to Timber

“I will not die” Timber said while a arrow pass to his side

Timber took more than five minutes to make a mark on the wood after 2 hours his stats began to raise Agility, Endurance, Sustenance, Awareness, Concentration and Strength. The first and the last twice as much as the others because he had to dodge attacks while he was also applying all his strength to carve the wood.

Timber kept wondering how much stamina Bow Hand had after 18 hours and the dwarf still was shooting arrows like nothing

A wolf is not very difficult to carve but carve a tough wood while one is being shot with arrows is a difficult task. Two days and the wood looked like a wolf but it was not until the morning of the third day that the system recognized the shape and the arrows stop flying.

Art is not always recognized for the style and skill of the work in question. It is worthy of being called great art as long as it touches many hearts and cleanses many minds.

“Yes, I can finally go outside the city” Timber said.

Timber was walking towards the outskirts of the city with no idea of the dangers of the north. The cold is not a problem thanks to the climatic changes of the last years. The main problem of those newbies starting in the north is the level of the monsters for example a wolf in the central of the continent is at least of level 5 but in the north a wolf is level 40 at least. Of course that in other villages their leaders solved the problem by killing monsters very often increasing the security of their land and in turn lowering the level of the local population of monsters another method was to buffed the newbies with the help from art works, the church, druids or shamans.

But the problems of the north were are pronounced in WoodFort because the discovers of the city were Dark Gamers that instead of conquer the city, were using it as part of a business which consisted in charge a large sum of money per a fast leveling program but when the war erupted the Dark Gamers changed his plans they took all the NPCs that could be convinced of leaving the city to be use as meat shield at the same time that they transferred their business to a better location. Leaving WoodFort infested with high level monsters and without a proper army, teachers or even craftsmen to create weapons, all NPCs that remained in the city were barely enough to protect the city from the monsters and feed the citizens

The rabbits the being more harmless of all the beasts in RR in the north they were few except in WoodFort a number of events took place to create the heaven of rabbits and the hell for beginner users. The first event was the heat wave in the north, allowing to rabbits live and multiply easily creating small armies of cute little monsters level 15. The second event was the extermination of natural predators of rabbits by the Dark Gamers that only hunted wolves, bears, and higher level monsters that give more money and so rabbits became in natural predators of level 30 or more. The last event was the departure of the Dark Gamers and the return of predators, the forest war is a history for another time only the winners matter the rabbits are now the leaders in the forest with a minimum level 60 and maximum level 140

Timber had to return to the city to buy thermal clothing he grew up in a place with low temperatures but he always hated the cold and although in the RR forums were saying that the cold in the north was endurable they no say nothing about the Northwest. After spending almost 2000 gold coins in clothes with cold resistance and little defense, As Timber was about to cross the gates the guards said.

“The Battalion Chief Ivar told us about you test and that you can’t return to the city until you finish the test”

* Then I must finish before starve to death or I will end eating grass which surely tastes better than food cooked by Eruiel * Timber thought

Timber began his search for rabbits after 5 minutes he found one and followed him after other 3 minutes Timber found the burrow on it there were at least 50 rabbits.

* With my stats, level and armor, the rabbits sure could not kill me.

I should take the root and get out as fast as possible without killing rabbits, but if they corner me, I need a distraction *

Timber took a branch and sculpted a carrot then he threw it close to the rabbits and while the rabbits approached to the carrot he ran to the burrow inside he found 4 rabbits and 2 roots which he took before running out until that there was any rabbit in sight.

Timber almost died in his first incursion into the rabbit's burrow, Timber health was less than 20%. In the following days Timber raised his Endurance stat six times more that the others like Sustenance or Agility. And after eating some roots, herbs and grass Timber gained one skill.

Timber took over a month to finish the baskets especially because two out of five baskets built was a failed product and Timber could not recycle the materials of the failed products due to the sensitivity of the root

Ivar smiled seeing the baskets and said

“Congratulations, you're the first person outside the guild in 1000 years able to pass the test of initiation into the Guild of wooden ax”

In there was a tree the first tree

The first representation of a consciousness beyond the limits of which would be known as the lines between a god and a mortal

The first avatar and the first god fused together in the being known as the Gaia Tree

And then began the birth of all which we recognize as a living being, a being with a soul, a being capable of evolving, love, hate, and die.

Everything is, was and will be a part of a being called Gaia.

Back then, Humans, Elves, Dwarves and Orcs lived together in harmony thanks to the Gaia Tree who watched, maintains and preserves the balance without anyone knowing.

Gaia it was not the first being the true first was the void known as Chaos

Chaos attacked the Gaia Tree, but because that their powers were equal and opposite none won, both were weakened, and a dark age began with the separation of the races and the loss of balance.

In the middle of the war several beings emerge some these beings were like Gaia and Chaos but the origin of his powers was not the same those beings gained power through the faith that others deposited in them and so were born the gods

Other beings were fed with darkness and hate, and so were born the demons

And other beings were created without consciousness of themselves by Gaia but over time they evolved. They gained consciousness and decided to continue the work of its creator by protecting the balance, and so were born the elemental spirits.

Chaos fed himself with all type of separation getting stronger because the eternal war.
