After review his new class for a hour, Timber decided to log out.
The first thing in Riu mind after logout was eat then he went to his old computer trying to find something about is new class, Riu even try to compare his class with others but the only thing that he could deduce was that the his class was a mix of a paladin, a shaman, a elemental magician and which at the same time was a specialist in counterattack, leadership and magic of long range.

While Timber was in RL, the pope of Church of Freya awake from a dream a vision sent by Freya.
The pope took a feather and paper and writes, and the same is repeated with each leader in every church regardless of his denomination, good or bad, demonic or angelic, holy or dark.
Gaia has made his move we must find his new Campaigner before others do

After login back Timber was surprised, he forgot that he was in the forest when he logout.
*why I was not attacked by the monsters when my body (avatar) stayed behind, this place isn't a safe spot or the system would have told me * Timber thought
Timber began to search around, the manifestation of Gaia was gone and there seemed to be anything strange but just in case Timber started to use his identification skill in everything in his sight.
After a couple of minutes Timber found something

After digging for an hour Timber found the mysterious object
Rusty ancient shield of Pólux
Hoplon shield forged by Pólux himself even after being exposed to the elements and time still emanates a high degree of energy of nature, a shield that was thought lost forever.
Due to its condition this shield has lost its usefulness as equipment but yet a collector would give all his fortune by it.

Timber put aside his thoughts, he took the shield and put it in his inventory and headed to the building of the former guild of information.
In the guild Timber found himself in front of Ivar, Greta, Bow Hand, Eruiel and Madame Clotild.
”We were waiting for you kid, we want you choose” Said Madame Clotild
“Choose what?”
“Your class, I want you to be a Defender like me” Said Ivar
“Why not be a merchant, you seem too nice to be a fighter full of blood” Greta added
“Not believe her, you will be an excellent archer” Said Bow Hand
“A magician or a cook, why don't you decide be one that way we can spend more time together?” Eruiel said with a provocative tone.
The siblings then began to fight over which class Timber should take, but just when the fight was going to go from shouts to punches, a wave of killer intent stop the fight while everyone in the room were watching the origin of the killer intent
“Tell me what class you want to be Timber” Said Madame Clotild
“I already got a class, I sorry for not say so before but I got it through the ax after release the seal.”
“Raymond never told me what was in the ax that needed to be sealed, Timber can you please show us your class and skills?”

“Who is Gaia?”
“Foolish troglodyte it seems you have never read a book” Said Eruiel
And another wave of killer intent it spread making everyone present felt the cold sweat on their necks.
“Ok I got it no fights, could you stop doing that aunt Clotild” Said Eruiel
“Gaia is the supreme goddess of nature but all the people think of her as a forgotten god whose only power is to bring the freemen to this realm, but that is a misconception Gaia is referred in the ancient books as the goddess of unity, is said that she shall destroy anything, both good or bad, that try to alter the unity of this universe” Eruiel explained
“For warriors, Gaia is the goddess that represents the formations of defense and counterattack” Ivar added.
“We the merchants believe that she's the one that brought us a new age of trade where customers fall from the sky as rain in the desert” Greta continued
“So she is like Mara” Bow Hand concluded.
“Mara is another name for Gaia” Said Eruiel
While the siblings debated this time more peacefully Timber began to remember something

Unlike others gods Gaia don't want to gather faith through churches instead Gaia gathers faith by the actions of its believers and representatives of her movement.

“Ivar and I will give you some quests to kill some monsters and clean some dungeons so that you don't die when you go to spread the will of Gaia” Bow Hand continued
“If you need some info for a quest or about the weak points of a monster, you can ask me” Said Madame Clotild
“Also all of us would like to join in the Gaia Movement” Ivar concluded
“Of course the more the better” Timber said and a message showed up

Runes of the blood goblinsBrings a copy of the runes that the blood goblin shaman uses in his magic, the Blood goblins live in the old iron mine of WoodFort.

Timber allocated all the mine quests as Faith quests and after getting some information about the mine thanks to the net of information of Madame Clotild he formulated a plan, that same evening he also went to the merchant guild and contracted 2 workers with the heavy lifting skill, he also bought wood to make a carriage, seeds to plant and raise his Ambient Affinity stat, basic supplies and two horses.
Timber was left without gold after all the shopping but to him the money was more a impediment, he enjoyed a simple way of life in his mind he thought that one can always gain money when one needed and a good work will always be rewarded.
Author note: Weed would kill Timber for have those thoughts
With the shopping completed, Timber plan was ready to begin.
Before the dawn Timber built a carriage and with the remains of wood He created a wooden shield,
In the morning the carriage left WoodFort by the south with Timber driving, the journey to the mine was easy thanks to the info that Madame Clotild provided but the road was more long because they avoided the areas with monsters over level 200, and they could not follow the creek since the carriage was too wide for it.
In the entry of the mine there were no guards just like Madame Clotild info said to Timber thought that was a good sign, the info said that once a month will arrive an dispatch of reinforcements and workers coming from a fort owned by blood goblins and that day is when there are guards, so Timber had a month to kill all the blood goblins and spiders.
The blood goblins don't respawn in the mine only the spiders do because its queen is in there in the last floor of the mine.
The mine had 8 underground floors, the first two were a natural cave that existed before the iron was found and in those floors was where the rooms for the miners were, the floors 3 to 5 were the mine itself, in the 6 floor was where the blood goblins were taming the spiders and the last two floors it was the nest of the spiders.
The good luck of Timber was gone, when he entered the mine the first goblin that he found was the miners chief the second boss in the dungeon, thanks to Madame Clotild information Timber knew that the miners chief makes a walk through the mine in random times but Timber not got scared he was also informed in how handle a fight with each boss in the mine.
The blood goblin miners chief was a named monster called “Kerat the Sanguinary Tamer” that looked like a mix between:

Madame Clotild information said that Kerat was a spider's tamer with some short sword skills and his strategy consist in sending several groups of spiders and he will only attack when his spiders are defeated and after some blows he will withdraw to call more spiders until kill his enemy or until Kerat get angry and he begin to attack with his short sword skills
Kerat began his attack by sending 10 blood spiders.
Timber threw in himself a Elemental nature coating this spell gave him a boost in luck
The first spider throw his web toward Timber legs.
"Elemental synergic Shield-Fire glow" Timber yell while He intercepted the spider web with his shield.
When the last word left Timber mouth his wooden shield began to glow in red and the spider web began to burn. The fire flowed for the spider web until it reached the spider burning it.
Timber then moved his axe to cut the legs from the closest spider after doing it, He hit the spider with his shield the spider was caught in fire and died
Timber realized that the spiders were weak to the fire
Timber decided to use the same method of cutting the legs to then burn the spiders with his magic.
When the last of the 10 spiders flashed in gray by dying Kerat attacked Timber with his short sword but Timber was prepared so instead of taking damage He defended with his shield.
After a couple of strikes that landed in Timber shield Kerat retreated to command more spiders to attack Timber
After 3 cycles of Timber killing a group of spiders to then defend his life by deflecting the strikes of Kerat short sword, Timber was exhausted but that was part of his plan because Timber needed more levels to face Kerat and the only way of gain those levels was by killing spiders
Timber needed to rest but He could not move backwards or exit the mine without being stabbed in the back by Kerat.
Timber was about to give up but just then He saw the structure and the ceiling of the mine and decided to try out his luck
Timber positioned himself in a corner that He felt secured and then He used Earth wave in the cave then a couple of stalactites fell of the ceiling blocking Timber in that corner and acting as a shield stopping the attacks of the spiders and Kerat
Timber took a rest and allocated his unassigned stats points by facing the spiders his level rose 18 times and his Endurance rose by 26 points, Timber was left with only 35% of his health even when he was wearing his new full armor that he got before leaving the village.
Timber used all his mana in Life rain to regain his health while He keep checking the wall that protected him aware of the sounds of digging that Kerat and his group of spiders were doing it was approaching.
When the wall of debris it was pierced by Kerat and his spiders Timber was ready to his counterattack.
Timber ran passing Kerat and his pets while evading or deflecting all the coming attacks and when those who had the wall in his back were Kerat and his spiders Timber began to attack the spiders which now He could defeat without magic.
Even with the wall in his back Kerat was keeping his strategy of attack and retreat until that after the seventh group of spiders was defeated and Timber with his mana full and his health at 90% decided to enrage Kerat by throwing a Air cannon spell that hit at Kerat in his low parts.
Kerat then raised his short sword but before he could attack Timber hit him with a Earth wave followed by a blow with his Elemental synergic Shield combined with Fire glow then Kerat lost his footing from which Timber took advantage by cutting Kerat's leg in the same way that with the spiders, after that moment Kerat continued on fighting in his knees for half hour before becoming gray pixels.
After the battle with Kerat Timber took the japtem and made a look to the notifications received in battle that was the usual a couple of stats, 12 levels ups and a new skill.
