I have built the X-01 station on the mountain of bunker and connected it to the bunker system, which means that it is also connected to the material warehouse, which makes it possible to build and repair the X.01 drones in the station.

The X-station is half in the ground and has a total height of 10m. The shape is that of a hexagon. 15 X-01 can be stored inside the station, light weapons are installed outside the station if the X-01 are gone.

I also repaired the transmitter from the bunker, which gives me a good connection to the X-01. But when I searched for other bunkers or laboratories via the bunker system, there was no reaction from other stations that were connected. So I assume what happened here happened almost everywhere.

But this gave me the position of a kasa facility. Kasa seems like nasa here.

But now I'm going to take care of the mutants, they clearly have to be wiped out. And for that I ordered my 5 X-01 to fly to the position of my destroyed team. And I started to equip my X-station.

32 minutes later

I just received a message from my X-01 that they apparently found the remains of my drones, I ordered the drones to look for traces that could point to the hidout of the mutants.

And I turned on the live stream, which gives me the information immediately.

13 minutes later

My X-01 have just found the mutants they seem to live in a kind of village with hats made of leather, wood and old metal bars. The village is in an old park which now resembles a forest. According to my count, there are approximately 124 mutants living there:

I have my X-01 in stealth mode so it hardly makes any noise. The mutants seem to have a primitive language and most of them also wear some kind of leather clothing. And the group that destroyed my team is in a kind of cage.

But there are far too many of them, even if the other 10 X-01 are done, some mutants can escape. That means I need some weapon that can wipe out many at once and I already have an idea. I send my X-01 back to patrol for now, except for one who monitors the village.

4h later

Now I have 15 X-01 ready for use and my beloved artillery loaded with napalm, so I can burn a large area and if they survive I send my X-01 in. And if they survive, the artillery is ready for action with even more napalm. I finished 4 artillery pieces and everyone can shoot to the village which is about 8km away.

Right now it is bright day so I wait until evening to attack so that most people sleep in the village.

Now the X-01 are in position and the village is quiet.

POV: Villager girl

I am Gwin and 4489 moons old (12.3 years old). I live with my mother at home in our village. My father and a few of his hunting partners attacked a new species a few days ago and thereby broke a law, which means that they now have to be executed.

The law basically says that all new species should be approached nicely so you don't start a war.The village elder always says that we should not make the same mistakes as the old humans.

I woke up to screaming tonight and there was a stench of burnt skin and fire in the air. When I came out of the tent I saw the entire village in a flame inferno and how the various neighbors burn alive while the children cry it was pure hell.

When I looked at my father I only saw a fireball where the cell is. And before that my mother burned to a black pile of bones. And then came the sound that chases me until my dreams from behind the smoke wall. And from that came black / dark red balls that hovered in the air with two wings...

Demons

I said when I saw that.

And next these demons shot red fire at everything that was still moving. When I saw that, I immediately ran towards an allied village to warn everyone else about the demons.

POV: Village Killer

That went really well, only one managed to escape. But the artillery was more effective than expected and the X-01 tore up the mutants with ease.

But I should be better prepared now if they come with one army or something I don't think I could win against something like that. And for that I should enlarge my own army, for that I should build more M-01 and X-stations. And expand the reactor in the bunker because it is slowly reaching its limits.

I also have an idea for a floor unit that I also want to test. And I should send a few units to the kasa base to get a satellite network up and running. Maybe even a few weapon platforms.

2 days later

I now have 6 M-01 and 5 X-Stations and I have enlarged the reactor. And the local satellite network started working again with which I now know everything that happens in a 200km radius around me. I have continued to expand my artillery and now I have 10 of them.

The artillery can now fire continuously for 2 minutes before new ammunition has to be produced. It also has a range of 100km in every direction.

Next I take care of the new floor unit.
